Charge the Battery
Before using the unit, charge the battery for at least 3 hours.
Charging the battery completely (and keeping it charged)
will help you get the longest possible talk and standby time
out of the battery. On average, the battery provides about
10 hours of talk time and about 400 hours of standby time.
Connect an adapter to the power connector on the side of
the BTSC1100 and plug it into any standard; i) 12VDC-24VDC (DC adaptor), or ii) 240VAC
(AC adaptor) power outlet.
When charging is completed, the Charging status icon is turned o .
[Note] Use only the power adapter supplied with the unit. Using any other adapter could
damage your unit, create a re hazard, or cause a risk of electric shock.
Low Battery Warning
X
When the battery requires charging, the unit beeps every 20 seconds. The unit will
power o unless charged within approximately 10 minutes.

Pair your Phone to the BTSC1100
Power On/O
Slide the cover up to turn power on, slide the cover down to turn power o.X
Pairing
Before using the car kit, it must be paired with a mobile phone rst.
Slide the cover up to turn power on.1)
Press and hold the Multi-Function button2) for 3 seconds until the Bluetooth status icon
ashes constantly.
On your phone, start a search for Hands-free devices (This process may take several seconds,3)
and it will be dierent for each mobile phone: see your phone’s owner’s manual for detailed
instruction).
Your phone should discover a device.When your phone asks if you want to pair with this device,4)
answer Yes.
Enter PIN number“0000”(4 zeros).5)

Automatic ConnectionX
This unit supports Auto-Connection which makes it possible to be automatically
connected to the last connected device after turn on. To manually reconnect, press
the Multi-function button momentarily.
Easy Pairing:
XThis unit goes into the Pairing Mode automatically when it is turned on
for the rst time.
Simple Pairing:
XYou can pair this unit with your mobile phone without entering the
pin number(0000), if your mobile phone supports Bluetooth version 2.1.
Make and Receive Calls
Making a Call
To dial the last number;1)
Press the Multi-Function button .
To voice dial;2)
Press the Multi-Function button for 2 seconds.
Voice Dialing is activated on the phone. When you hear a beep, you can use any command you

have already programmed into your phone. If you want to cancel Voice Dialing,
press the Multi-Function button during the Voice Dial Mode.
[Note] Please make sure that your phone supports the Voice Recognition rst (See your
phone’s owner’s manual for detailed instructions)
Answering a Call
Press the Multi-Function button while the call is ringing.
Rejecting an Incoming Call
Press and hold the Multi-Function button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep.
Ending a Call
Press the Multi-Function button momentarily during the call or just press the “End”
button on the mobile phone.
Transferring a Call
To transfer a call from the unit to your mobile phone and vice versa, press the Multi-
Function button on the Hands-Free Unit during the call for 2 seconds.

Adjusting the Volume
You can adjust the Volume by pressing the Volume Up(+) or Down(-) button.
MIC Mute
Press the Mute/Special Function button momentarily, during a call, to activate or
deactivate the MIC Mute. A beep sounds every 10 seconds when MIC Mute is on.
Call Waiting
To use this feature, you must subscribe to Call Waiting through your service provider, and
your phone must support the hands-free prole. When another call comes in while you
are talking on the phone, this unit sounds a tone.
To put your current call on hold and switch to the waiting call, press and hold Volume Up(+) for1)
about 3 seconds When you release the button, you’ll be connected to the waiting call.When you
want to switch back to the current call, press and hold volume up again for 3 seconds.
To hang up your current call and switch to the waiting call, press and hold Volume Down(-) for2)
about 2 seconds. When you release the button, you’ll be connected to the waiting call.

[Recommended] Alternatively, press the “SEND” button of your mobile phone to activate the Call Waiting
function.
[Note] Some features may not be compatible with certain mobile phones.
Pairing a Second Bluetooth Device
The unit supports simultaneous connection with 2 mobile phones with full control of
each unit. Just pair the BTSC1100 to the rst phone following the instructions on page 6.
When the rst phone is successfully paired, pair the BTSC1100 to the second phone.
[Note] This feature may not be compatible with certain mobile phones.
Multi-point Connect1)
When the BTSC1100 is turned on it will seek simultaneous connection with the 2 mobiles phones.X
Making a call [via the second mobile phone]2)
Press the Mute/Special function button for last call-redialing from the second mobile phone.X
Press the Mute/Special function button for 2 seconds until you hear a beep sound.Voice Dialing is activated onX

[Note] Making a call via the rst mobile phones, please follow the same instruction as
described on “MAKING A CALL”.
Receiving a call - You can hear the ring tones from the unit when incoming call. Press the Multi-3)
Function button to receive call.
[Note] Each mobile phone plays dierent ring tones. When you are on the line, the link
with the other phone will be disconnected. But it will be automatically re-connected
when you terminate the call.
Resetting your BTSC1100
If you are having some trouble with this unit or you want to delete all your information
(paired device information, etc.), you can reset it. Press and hold Volume Up(+) and
Volume Down(-) for about 5 seconds.
[Note] Resetting is only possible when in standby mode after disconnecting with your mobile phones.

Two Year Limited Warranty

IMPORTANT Evidence of the original purchase is required for
warranty service.
Warrantor: Uniden Australia Pty Limited ABN 58 001 865 498
Uniden New Zealand Limited
Elements of Warranty: Uniden warrants to the original
retail owner for the duration of this warranty its BTSC1100
(hereinafter referred to as the Product), to be free from defects
in materials and craftsmanship with only the limitations or
exclusions set out below.
Warranty Duration: This warranty to the original retail owner
only is only valid in the original country of purchase and shall
be of no further eect 2 years after the date of original retail
sale. This warranty will be deemed invalid if the Product is:
(A) Damaged or not maintained as reasonable and necessary,
(B) Modied, altered or used as part of any conversion kits,
subassemblies, or any congurations not sold by Uniden, (C)
Improperly installed, (D) Repaired by someone other than an
authorized Uniden Repair Agent for a defect or malfunction
covered by this warranty, (E) Used in conjunction with any
equipment or parts or as a part of a system not manufactured
by Uniden. (F) Only available in the original country of sale.
Parts Covered: This warranty covers for two (2) years, the
Product and included accessories.
Statement of Remedy: In the event that the Product does
not conform to this warranty at any time while this warranty
is in eect, the warrantor, at its discretion, will repair the
defect or replace the Product and return it to you without
charge for parts and service. This warranty does not provide
for reimbursement or payment of incidental or consequential
damages. This EXPRESS WARRANTY is in addition to and does
not in any way aect your rights under the TRADE PRACTICES
ACT 1974 (Cth) (Australia) or the CONSUMER GUARANTEES
ACT (New Zealand).
Procedure for obtaining performance or warranty: in the
event that the Product does not conform to this warranty, the
Product should be shipped or delivered, freight prepaid, with
