ISDK STATION OPERATION
※Please refer to the Programming Manual to program the following programmable flexible function key
such as [DSS] key (kind 2 item 46) means you can refer to programming item 46 of kind 2 for setting
[DSS] key.
【A】MAKING A CALL
1. Making An Intercom Call
1. 1 Off-Hook Dialing
a. Lift handset.
b. Dial the called station no. or DSS key. (PGM kind 2 item 46)
c. To speak when the called party answers.
d. Hang up the handset after speaking.
1.2 Full Handsfree (Option, for the key telephone with full handsfree, PGM kind 2 item 20 = 1)
a. Dial the called station no. or DSS key.
b. To speak when the called party answers.
c. Press "SPKR" key when the called party hang up the call.
Remarks: 1. It is available to call the called party by voice call or ringing call and change the type
by pressing "PAGE" key.
2. If the called party uses full handsfree telephone and set up "allowed" to be started
speaker directly (PGM kind 2 item 57), you can dial the called station
no. or DSS key and then press "*" key to speak with him directly.
2.Making An Outgoing Call
2.1 Off-Hook Dialing
a. Lift handset.
b. Press any idle CO line key or assigned CO line key or press "0" operation code (function no.24)
to hunt any idle CO line.
c. Dial the outgoing telephone no. when hear the CO dialing tone.
d. To speak when the called party answers.
e. Hang up the handset after speaking.

2.2 Full Handsfree (Option, for the key telephone with full handsfree )
a. Lift handset.
b. Press any idle CO line key or assigned CO line key or press "0" operation code (function no.24)
to hunt any idle CO line.
c. Dial the outgoing telephone number when hearing the CO dial tone.
d. To speak when the called party answers.
e. Press "SPKR" key to hang up the call after speaking.
【B】ANSWERING A CALL
1. Answering An Intercom / CO Incoming Call
1.1 Lift the handset directly when the telephone set is ringing.
1.2 Press "SPKR" key (for handsfree keyphone) when the telephone set is ringing.
2. Call Pick-up (also for single line telephone)
2.1 Pick up any call : Press "system pick up" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or press "*108" opearation
code (function no.8).
2.2 Group pick up
2.2.1 The same group is ringing and press the "group pick-up" key or press "*6" operation code
(function no.7)
2.2.2 Set the PGM kind 2 item 60 to be "1", then lift the handset to be "group pick-up"
automatically.
2.3 Individual pick up (also for single line telephone)
2.3.1 Press the "individual pick-up" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or press "*106" operation code
(function no.6) and then press the ringing station no.
2.3.2 Set the station no. (PGM kind 2 item 61) and then lift the handset will answer the
ringing phone automatically.
3. Answering Page Call
3.1 Being paged station
1. For digital keyphone →Lift handset →press "#" key →speak to the paging party
2. For single line telephone →Press "*6" operation code (function no.7) →press "#" key →
speak to the paging party
3.2 Not being paged station
a. Lift handset.

b. Press "group pick-up" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or press "*6" operation code (function no.7)
c. Press "PAGE" key and speak to the paging party.
【C】DIALING MODE
1. Speed Dialing Number Setting (also for single line telephone)
1.1 System speed dialing and individual speed dialing could be programmed 0000-1999 numbers
(PGM kind 1 item 70, 72). Each number Max. 32 digits.
(Default→system speed dialing:90 numbers, individual speed dialing:25 numbers)
1.2 Operation
1. For digital keyphone
a. Press "SPD" keyor "#" operation code (function no.4), then press "#" key.
b. Enter speed dial number (system speed dialing: 00-89 or individual speed
dialing: 900-924) or press "one-touch" key (function no.22).
c. Enter telephone number
c.1) Enter the registered telephone number (Max.32 digits, please press "HOLD" key to
make "pause" digit for pager call.)
c.2) Program last outgoing telephone number, press "REDIAL" key.
c.3) Program the telephone number in "memory redial", press "MEMO" key.
c.4) If need to clear the old registered telephone number, the 1st key to press "*" to clear it.
d. Hang up after programming or press "SPD" key to register another speed dialing
continuously as per the above point C.
2. For single line telephone (SLT)
a. Lift handset
b. Press "#" operation code (function no.4) and "#" key
c. Enter telephone number and hang up the handset
2. Speed Dialing
The telephone number could be saved in system memory for speed dialing.
Operation:
a. Press "SPD" key or operation code (function no.4).
b. Press speed dialing number "00-89" (system speed dialing) or "900-924" (individual
speed dialing).

3. Memory Dialing
To memorize a telephone number during speaking and redial the memorized telephone number
after hang up the call.
3.1 To memorize the telephone number which is told by your call party.
a. Press "MEMO" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) during speaking on a call.
b. Enter the told telephone number.
c. Press "MEMO" key and auto catch CO line to dial out.
3.2 Making A Memory Redial : (two ways are available)
a. Press "MEMO" key →auto catch CO line to dial out
b. Press any idle CO line key →press "MEMO" key
4. Last Number Redial (two ways are available)
a. Press "REDIAL" key or "*7" operation code (function no.19).
b. Press any idle CO line key and press "REDIAL" key.
5. One-touch Dialing
Press the registered one-touch dialing function key to make the outside call directly.
6. Pause for Outgoing Call Dialing
When dial a pager call, you can press "HOLD" key for a "PAUSE" in order to make the last
number redial.
7. To Change The CO Dialing From Pulse To DTMF
Press "*" or "#" during dialing a CO call, the pulse dialing will be changed to DTMF dialing
automatically.

【D】SPEAKING ON A CALL
1. Hold
1.1 Intercom or CO call Hold: Press "HOLD" key.
1.2 CO Call Exclusive Hold (two ways are available)
a. Press "HOLD" key twice (Only the original holding station can retrieve the held CO call.)
b. Press "Exclusive Hold" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or the operation code (function no.87) during
talking on a CO call.
1.3 To Retrieve the holding CO call (two ways are available)
a. Press the slow blinking CO key and assign the CO line key (e.g. press *001 to catch the TK1).
b. Press the operation code (function no.37) to retrieve the holding CO call.
1.4 To Retrieve holding intercom call (two ways are available)
a. Dial the station no. or the operation code (function no.36).
b. Press the slow blinking DSS key.
2. Transfer
2.1 Hold and Transfer
a. Press "HOLD" key.
b. Dial the called station number →Tell the call message to called party.
c. Hang up the handset.
(Remark: pick-up the hold call →a) COcall: Press the slow blinking CO line key.
b) Intercom call: Press the station no.
2.2 Direct Transfer
a. Press "TRAN" key or "FLASH".
b. Dial the called station number.
c. Hang up the handset when hear the ringing back tone.
2.3 Consulting Transfer
2.3.1 Press "TRAN" key or "FLASH".
2.3.2 Dial the called station number and consult with the called party to answer.
a. If the called party will not answer, just hang up his handset and the transferring party
answer the calling party and then hang up the handset.
b. If the called party will answer, the transferring party hangs up handset directly.

2.4 Broker's call
2.4.1 During speaking on a call, press "TRAN" or "FLASH" and then dial a new call or answer
other incoming call. (The 1 st call will be held temporary.)
2.4.2 Press "TRAN" to switch the 1 st and the 2 nd call.
2.5 Conference call (PGM kind 2 item 46) (also for single line telephone)
2.5.1 Join The Conference Call
Press "TRAN" key or "FLASH" →Dial the joiner's station number or telephone no.
→Press "CONF" key during speaking
2.5.2 Release The Conference Call
Any party can hang up to leave three parties conference, another two parties continue
speaking. If another two parties are CO lines, the call will be cut off immediately.
2.6 CO Flash (two ways are available)
Use this function to operate some of PTT service or the (programmable) flash of PABX.
a. To press "Flash" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) directly if the telephone set has set this function key.
b. Press "TRAN" key and then the operation code (function no.94).
2.7 CO Recall Flash (two ways are available)
If dial a wrong telephone number or speaking on a call and wish to cut the existing call and
then access the same CO line to make another outgoing call, you can use this function.
a. Press "Recall" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) directly if the telephone has set this function key.
b. Press "TRAN" key and then the operation code (function no.95).
2.8 Receiving Volume Control
Press "▲" or "▼" on VOLUME key to control the receiving volume. (There are 32 segments
for the volume control)
2.9 Open The Electric Door Lock
Press "#" key during speaking with the doorphone.

2.10 Cut CO line -Disconnecting ( F3 )
Press "Cut CO Line" ( Disconnecting) key to cut the hunting CO line or station line and
hear the internal Dial Tone →Refer to PGM kind 2 item 46 and setup the function
"Disconnecting" key.
2.11 HandsfreeMIC OFF ( F50 )
Press "Handsfree MIC switch" key →MIC OFF and LED "OFF"
Press "Handsfree MIC switch" key again →MIC ON and LED "ON"
【E】PAGE
1. Station Group Page
Lift handset →Press "PAGE" key →Enter the page group number (PGM kind 2 item 13) →
Press "PAGE" key →Voice Page
2. Station All Page
Lift handset →Press "PAGE" key twice →Voice Page
3. External Page
Press the CO line key which is connected with the Amplifier trunk relay →Broadcast
Remark: 1. SLT (single line telephone) all page to keyphone: Press the operation code (function
no.33) →#
2. SLT gropu page to keyphone: Press the operation code (function no.33) →Enter the group
number →#
【F】NO ANSWER
1. Message Waiting
Dial a number but no answer. Light up a message LED to wait call back.
1.1 Press "MSG" (Message Waiting) key (PGM item 2 item 46) and the called station's "MSG" LED
"ON" →Hang up the handset to wait calling back

2. Call Back To The Message Waiting (also for single line telephone)
2.1 For digital keyphone →a. Lift handset
b. Press "MSG" key or the operation code (function no.47) →
The message calling party's station ringing →Speak
2.2 For single line telephone →a. Lift handset
b. Hear the warning tone for message waiting →press the
operation code (function no.47) →Speak
3. Absent Station Message
When leaving the station, you can leave any of the following message by the following
operation.
a. Press "AMSG" (Absent Station Message) key (PGM kind 2 item 46)
b. Press "1-5" code (refer to below table).
c. Enter Time or Date.

【G】STATION / CO LINE IS BUSY
1. CO Camp-on
CO incoming call can camp-on a busy station.
1.1 Transfer a CO call to a busy station →Hang up the handset directly →The busy station user
will hear the busy warning tone (PGM kind 2 item 122)
1.2 Answer A Camp-on Call
1.2.1 The busy station user hangs up the handset →The station ringing →Lift the handset
→Speak
1.2.2 The busy station user pressing the camp-on CO line key directly →Speak

1.3 Retrieve The Camp-On Call
1.3.1 Press "Individual Pick-up" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or "*6" operation code (function no.7)
→Dial the camp-on station number
1.3.2 Press "Individual Pick-up" key àPress the CO line number
2. Busy Station Override (also for single line telephone)
a. Hear busy tone after dial station number or press CO line key.
Press "OVER" (Busy Station Override) key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or the operation code (function
no.90) and waiting about 3 seconds (PGM kind 1 item 56) àSpeak to the called station (If the
station speaks on a CO call, the CO call will be held and the called party will hear the override
warning tone.)
b. The overridden party can press "TRAN" key to speak to the overrider directly. After speaking, the
overriden party can press "TRAN" key to talk with the original called party.
Remarks: 1. The class of override service including 99 classes.
2. The higher class station can override the lower class of busy station.
3. The same class of stations can override each other.
4. The station class "0" can not override any busy station.
3. Busy Station/Trunk Queuing
3.1 Busy Station Queuing
a. When the called station is busy →Press "RSV" (Reservation) key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or the
operation code (function no.86) →Hang up the handset
b. When the busy station hang up →The called station ringing →The user lift handset →
The reserved calling station ringing →Speak
3.2 Busy Trunk Queuing
a. When press "0" to hunt CO line and all trunk lines are busy →Press "RSV" (Reservation)
key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or the operation code (function no.86) →Hang up the handset
b. When there is any trunk line is idle →The reserved station ringing →Lift handset to hunt
the idle CO line automatically
【H】STATION OPERATION FUNCTION SETUP
1. Call Forwarding
1.1 All Calls Forwarding
a. Setup: Press "FWD" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or the operation code (function no.3) →
Press "1" →Press the destination station no.
b. Cancel: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "0"

1.2 Day Busy Call Forwarding
a. Setup: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "3" →Press the
destination station no.
b. Cancel: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "2"
1.3 Night Busy Call Forwarding
a. Setup: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "5" →Press the
destination station no.
b. Cancel: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "4"
1.4 Day No Answer Call Forwarding
a. Setup: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "7" →Press the
destination station no.
b. Cancel: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "6"
1.5 Night No Answer Call Forwarding
a. Setup: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "9" →Press the
destination station no.
b. Cancel: Press "FWD" key or the operation code (function no.3) →Press "8"
2. Do Not Disturb (K2-1 must be 1)
2.1 Press【DND:F11】→ 【2~4】→【HOLD】
(2: Intercom call DND 3:CO Incoming call DND 4: Doorphone DND)
2.2 Press【Set/Cancel DND:F29】or【*129】operation code →LED ON →All do not disturb
2.3 Press【Set/Cancel DND:F29】or【*129】operation code →LED ON →Canceldo not disturb
2.4 The registered Attendant Telephone can connect with the "DND" station by pressing the
override key.
3. To Change The Password Lock Code
a. Press "Change Password" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or the operation code (function no.15) or press
"PASS" key twice within 1.2 seconds.
b. Press the initial setting password if it has the old password.
c. Enter the new password code.
d. Enter the same new password code again to confirm it.

4. Ringing Volume Control
4.1 Press "▲" or "▼" of "VOLUME" key to increase or decrease the Ringing Volume during ringing.
4.2 Press "Ringing Volume" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or "*154" operation code (function no.54) and
then press the "▲" or "▼" on the volume key, it also can use the digital key 0∼7 to change the
ringing volume.

1. Volume of background music
2. CO call receiving volume of handset
3. CO call receiving volume of handsfree
4. Internal call receiving volume of handset

5. Alarm Call
5.1 There are 6 groups of alarm on each station [ALARM KEY] [ALARM 2] [ALARM 3]
[ALARM 4] [ALARM 5] [ALARM 6]
PS: alarm2 , 3, 4, 5, 6 must be programmed. Refer to Appendix I →program manual
5.2 One Time Alarm(PGM kind 1 item 25)
Press【ALM:F0】or "*5" operation code and then enter 4 digit of alarm time (example: 0830).
5.3 Every Assign Weekly Day Alarm
a. Press "ALM" key or "*5" operation code (function no.0) and then press "*" key.
b. Enter the ending day of a week "1∼7" (system initial setting start from Monday).
c. Enter 4 digit of alarm time
Example: *5→*60830 (Alarm from every Monday to every Saturday at 8:30)
5.4 Cancel Alarm Call
Press【ALM:F0】or "*5" operation code and then press【*】àhang-up.

5.5 Answer Alarm Call
5.5.1 Pick up the handset directly to answer the ringing station (PGM kind 1 item 14).
5.5.2 Press "Pick-up" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) to pick up alarm call for the same
group.
【I】BACKGROUND MUSIC
Press "Background Music" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or "*148" operation code (function no.48). (One
time →Start →Press it again →Stop)
【J】REMOVING STATION CLASS
When you will use another telephone set to make an outgoing call but the station class is not enough to
make the outgoing call, you call use this function to make the outgoing, but the call bill will be recorded
in your own station.
1. Press the operation code (function no.40)
2. Enter your own station number.
3. Enter your own station password number (PGM kind 2 item 23) ("0000" not included).
4. Dial outgoing call number.
5. The function will be released automatically when you hang up the handset.

1. System Date And Time Setup
Press【***5】operation code (function no.114) →Display YY-MM-W-HH-MM
→Enter year -month -weekly day -hour -minute. (If you do not correct the time, just press "#")

Remark: It only can be setup by the allowed programming stations or system server.
2. Check In Setup (PGM kind 2 item 31)
Press【CI】(function no.62)àStation No. àDisplay the status ofCheck In/Check Out.

Press "CO" (Check Out) key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or OP code and then press the station No. →
Display the status of CI/CO.
3.1 Press "HOLD" key →Setup Check Out status →Display CI/CO status of the next station.

4.1 Press "HOLD" key →Confirm Alarm Time and display the setting status of the next station.
4.2 Press "TRAN" key →Confirm Alarm Time and copy the same to the next station and display
the setting status of next station.
4.3 Press "SPD" key →Cancel the new setting alarm time àDisplay the original setting status
4.4 Press "▲" of VOLUME key →Cancel and display the setting status for the last station.
4.5 Press "▼" of VOLUME key →Cancel and display the setting status for the next station.

【M】OTHER FEATURES OPERATION
1. Phone Lock, Password Lock
To avoid the unauthorized usage of your station.
1.1 To Setup
Press "PASS" key or code, then enter your password code (4 -digit) àLED "ON" if the
function key has been setup.
1.2 To Cancel
Press "PASS" key or code, then enter your password code (4-digit) àLED "OFF" if the
function key has been setup.
2. Manager Password (PGM kind 1 item 40)
Press "Manager Password" key (PGM kind 2 item 46) or "*114" operation code (function no.14) →
Enter the manager password →Dial any outgoing telephone number without any station class
limitation.
3. Night Transfer
Press【Night Transfer】or【*164】operation code (function no.64) and then enter the Night Transfer
Password (K1-5).
3.1 Press "HOLD" or "#" key →Confirm the setting mode.
3.2 Press "TRAN" key →Setting normal status (Day or Time control)
3.3 Press "VOLUME" key or "NUMBER" key →To select the setting mode
0.Day mode
1.Night mode : system only
2.Night mode : class of station only
3.Night mode : all night mode
Remark: 1. Number 4, 5, 6 has to match the first section of special announce of UDF2-DISA.
2. Number 7, 8, 9 has to match the second section of special announce of UDF2-DISA.
