INTRODUCTION
Thank you very much for choosing to ÜNMAK panel radiator product
group. Please read the user manual carefully before installing and
operating the product. Please keep this manual until the end of
service life of product. Do not touch or tamper with any part of the
product other than allowed section. Installation, maintenance and
service of the radiator should be done by authorized technical staff.
This manual and legislation should be considered for installation of the radiator,
selection of proper place and pipe work installation. Radiator should only use for
home heating system. Other purpose should considered as out of warranty.
Manual should be read carefully and must kept with warranty certificate
until the end of service life of the product.
HANDLING AND STORAGE
ÜNMAK panel radiators are dispatched with shrink nylon on the cardboard
protection.
Radiators are heavy products, so care should be taken when moving to installation
places. Necessary tools must be taken during lift and handling of the product.
Hard and sharp objects must not be used to avoid any paint damages when
product removed from the packaging.

RECOMMENDED INSTALLATIONS
Fine air circulation should be taken
into account when choosing the right
installation place of panel radiator.
Front part of room window is cold
place and has fine air circulation.
For this reason, bottom of window
is right place at mounting.
•High panel radiators, such as 900 mm in height with high radiation ratio should be
used in high ceiling structures, stairwells and vertical connection spaces in duplex
structures. In such places, the heat emitted by the radiator is collected in the upper
parts and the lower floors remain relatively cold. However, this difference is largely
covered when the heat dissipation rate with the radiation in the radiators placed in
the lower floors is high. Radiation ratio is high at thin radiators and at the flat
surface. In this regard, panel radiators with less depth and high height are the most
advantageous types.
•In general, radiators are mounted to bottom of window. Especially in well insulated
structures, PK type should be preferred instead of PKKP types because of high heat
power and depth since heat loss is less.
•The height of the radiators to be placed in the niche
should be at least 15 cm less than the height of the
bulwark. Radiator should be lift from the floor
approximately 7 cm. Thus, such a space between the
radiator top and the parapet is at least 8 cm.
•The places where the most heat loss are glass and outer walls. Heat loss is not
prevented no matter how good double glazing and thermal insulation application.
Therefore, radiators are evaluated as a project when mounted under the glass.
Installation of the panel radiator should be done by a qualified plumber.
•Installation place should be clean and smooth.

Panel Radiator Installation and User Manual Ü n m a k |4
•Product should not be dropped. It should be carried
by two person due to heavy weight of the product.
•Please do not close top of the radiator, it may
obstacle heat transfer. More energy will be consumed
due to the reduced heat transfer. Loss of efficiency
will increase up to 20% in upper closed radiators. Heat
transfer will decrease when items such as cabinets,
seats, etc. are placed too close to radiators..
•The water in radiator should not be drain. Draining
the radiators at the end of the season requires filling
new water. This cause to increase of oxidation. If it is
necessary to fill the radiator with water, first the
water should be filled in the hose and then the air
inside the radiator must be drained.
•It is necessary to avoid the contact of children, pets
and living things or objects while radiator is working.
•The water in the radiators should not be drained even
if the system will not be used for a long time. Radiator
valves should be closed and water should remain from
radiator when the water in the system needs to be
drained. Otherwise, corrosive substances occurring
inside the radiator will worse affect the radiator. This
may damage the installation.
•It should not be used in open areas where there is a danger of freezing. Freezing of
water in the installation can damage both the radiator and the installation.
Antifreeze must be added to the installation water when the installation and radiator
are required to remain in an environment less than 0°C.
•Maximum operating heat of radiator is 120°C. It should not use at temperatures
higher than it.

INSTALLATION SCHEME
The most preferred method of panel
radiators mounting is the upper inlet -
lower outlet from the diagonal corner.
Second mounting method is upper
inlet and lower outlet at same
direction. It can be done left or right
side.

Panel Radiator Installation and User Manual Ü n m a k |8
It is not preferred method but in case of
necessity, it can be mounted from right
bottom side inlet or left bottom side
outlet or vice versa. This method is not
recommended due to the decrease in
radiator efficiency unless necessary.
RADIATOR COMMISSIONING
Pipework of the radiator must be connected with a hose from the lowest inlet level
of the system. Air bleeding should be done from highest outlet level. For this purpose
purger flange should be open. It is not necessary to determine this process for use at
open expanding system. The tap should be opened and the hose should be filled with
water, then the water should be connected to the point to be pressed. Air pressure
of system should be set to 1-1,5 bar by observing from manometer when filled from
the lowest elevation level. Necessary attention should be taken to avoid air in the
system.
MAINTENANCE&CLEANING
Regular controls:
Product should be check against for leaks. Please contact installation
company when leakage is observed.
Radiators must only clean by smooth glass cleaning microfiber cloth without
using chemicals.
Periodical controls:
The convector part of the panel radiator can be cleaned by removing the
side covers and top grill. Dust can be poured by using hair dryer without
removing top grill.

Panel Radiator Installation and User Manual Ü n m a k |9
Radiator surfaces should be checked from bottom to top whether there is a
cold zone or not. Cold zone indicates air inside the radiator.
Annual controls:
Convector part cleaning can be done by Professional Cleaning Company.
BLEEDING OF RADIATOR
Air bleeding is taken from the places
shown in figure. Precautions should
be taken for dirty water to be
removed with a deep cup.System
should work and pressure set to 2
bar. Slowly turn the screw to
counterclock wise by air bleed plug or
srewdriwer. If air is stuck in the
system, it will exist during this
process.
Air has been evacuated when the water starts properly flow. Then system pressure
should be check and set to 1-1,5 bar.
It is sufficient to check the radiators while the system is operating in order to
understand whether there is air in the system. If there is air inside the radiator,
bottom part of the radiator will be colder than top of the radiator. You may also see
the thermal camera screen of observed air and non-observed air inside the radiator
in figures.
