This product is based on GSM / GPRS networks and GPS posi oning system satellite.
The built-in GSM, GPS and 2.4G antenna func ons. Insert the device into the vehicle’s OBD II port to read the
data from the computer itself. You can locate and manage the car remotely via SMS or GPRS. It is easy to install
and requires no cables.
They are used mainly for vehicle management and tracking and tracing services.

The tracking device will beep a er plugging in the vehicle’s OBD port. This means that the device is connected
and turned on. Then set to ON the ba ery switch.
LED green on: No GSM signal.
Green LED fl ashes quickly (once per second): GSM network signal is normal, the device operates in GSM mode.
Green LED fl ashes slowly (once every three seconds): The device works in GPRS mode.
Blue LED fl ashes: regular GPS signal.
Blue LED off : No GPS signal.
To ini alize the device must send the following SMS: “begin + password”, the device will return the following mes-
sage: “begin ok” and will be ini alized with its default se ngs. The default password is 123456.
Example: send the following SMS: “begin123456” (all followed without spaces), we will reach the message “begin
ok” if there has not been any problem.
To change the password you must send the following SMS: “password + old password + space + new password” to
the device.
Example: send “password123456 888888” (space between the old and the new password). If everything went
correctly we will arrive the following message: “password ok”.
Be sure not to forget the password if you forget it because the so ware must rise to restore the device factory.
Important: The password must be 6 digits, otherwise the device will not be recognized and will not be valid.
Note: The “+” indicates that the command never have to type, and the word “space” symbol means you must insert
a space.
You can authorize up to fi ve numbers. Please proceed to the authoriza on numbers before using the device to
receive SMS alerts and when the SOS bu on is pressed.
Call and track the device ten mes from your phone to make it as authorized automa cally.
Authoriza on: Send the following SMS: “admin + password + space + telephone number” to authorize a phone
number. The rest of the numbers should be allowed through the fi rst authorized number. If the process is success-
ful, you receive the following SMS: “admin ok”.
Clear authorized numbers: Send the following SMS: “noadmin + password + space + authorized number” to delete
that number as authorized.
If you would like to track the device outside your country, you must add the country code to the authorized num-
ber. Example: 008613322221111 admin123456.

The model B is fi ed with a 2.4G transmi er and therefore can work with the service center for the automa c ma-
nagement of the assistance vehicles.
The content to send for the 2.4G module can be confi gured and, by default, is the IMEI.
Example: send “Carid + password + space + YB888888” to the device and the license number will be set to messa-
ge. “YB888888” is the license number to be a combina on of characters and numbers at least 15bytes.
Send the following SMS: “Obdii + password + space + 0” to turn OBD data.
Send the following SMS: “Obdii + password + space + 1” to send data both mul tracking OBD and single tracking.
Send the following SMS: “Obdii + password + space + 2”, to send data only in single OBD tracking. (Default set-
ng).
Send the following SMS: “Obdmsg + password” to the device, and you get the informa on below:
Send the following SMS “ODO + password + space + 100000” to establish in 100,000km mileage. If everything
went correctly receive the following message: “Set ODO ok!”.
Send the following SMS “tank + password + space + 60”, to set the size of the fuel tank in 60Litros. If all goes co-
rrectly you receive the following message: “Set tank ok!”. By default the size of the tank is 60 liters.
When the vehicle has a problem or failure and the corresponding indicator lights, this fault code will be sent to the
number that are approved for the device. If the GPRS mode is ac vated, the device will inform the service center
each me the vehicle starts. If in SMS mode only send a no fi ca on.
For “accumulated mileage, fuel remaining, half consumed”, the device automa cally iden fi es the protocols su-
pported by the vehicle and displays the data. Otherwise it displays the message: not “ODO, FLI”.
If it supports the “accumulated mileage”, then you can set the distance covered. Also if it supports “remaining ga-
soline” you can set the value liter fuel tank.
The “average consumer” expresses the consump on of fuel per 100km and will be displayed only a er wearing, at
least ten kilometers driving.

Send the following SMS “service + password + space + space + 365d + 10000” to establish vehicle maintenance
every 10,000km or every 365 days. If everything went correctly receive the following message: “service ok”. Main-
tenance no fi ca on will be sent to authorized 15 days before the date specifi ed numbers. If the GPRS mode is
ac vated, the device will inform the service center each me the vehicle starts. If in SMS mode only send a no fi -
ca on.
To receive the SMS with vehicle loca on, you can simply make a call to the device and receive an SMS indica ng
the posi on by the values of the longitude and la tude.
* At the track, the SMS received, if no GPS signal, it will include the la tude and longitude of the last known posi-
on.
The device automa cally updated posi on on the web server by vehicle changes direc on (based on the angle)
to track the same. This func on is only possible in the GPRS mode. You must send the following SMS: “angle +
password + space + angle” if everything went correctly you will receive: “angle ok”.
The angle must be shown by 3 numbers. The default is 30 degrees.
By default this feature is disabled. To ac vate send: “suppress + password”, and receive the message: “suppress
dri ok”. GPS data update will stop if the vehicle is not running (ACC is OFF) and the la tude and longitude will
now always the same. GPS data is automa cally updated when the vehicle starts moving.
To cancel it, send: “nosuppress + password” and if everything went correctly, will receive: “nosuppress ok”.
Send the following SMS “fi x030s005n + password” to the device and we will return the la tude and longitude
fi ve mes in 30 seconds. We can indicate seconds (s), minutes (m) or hours (h). They must be three digits and
the maximum value is 255.
Send the following SMS “fi x030s *** n + password” to the device and we will return the la tude and longitude
con nually in 30 seconds. (The value for interval can not be less than 20 seconds).
To cancel the auto track, you must send the following SMS: “nofi x + password”. If all goes correctly you receive
the following message: “nofi x ok”.
Please set “tracking with unlimited me in a interval of me” before using this feature. Then send an SMS:
“password + space + distance + distance”, you receive a message: “distance ok” and the device will be located
according to the preset me and distance.
Example: Send “distance123456 0050” it means that the distance is 50meters.
Remember that you must fi rst have set a me interval, as shown in the previous sec on.

If the device can not establish a good connec on via GPS, the loca on is calculated using the GSM posi oning
BASDA in Cell-ID or cell iden fi ca on. In this case we will receive a message with the GPS coordinates of the last
known posi on and a LAC (loca on area code, based on phone towers) code.
Note: This feature is available in most areas with GSM network, but may not be available in some areas.
To use this feature, we must fi rst set the APN (Access Point Name) of our local GSM network have SIM card inser-
ted in the device. Check and set the APN in paragraph 6.36.
A er confi guring the APN, send the following SMS: “address + password” and receive a message with the exact
address.
To switch between the “TRACKER (up)” and “MONITOR” mode you should just send a SMS as follows:
Send SMS “monitor + password” will receive the following message: “monitor ok” and the monitor mode is ac va-
ted. (if you call the device, they can hear what is happening around it).
Send SMS “tracker + password” will receive the following message: “tracker ok!” And tracking mode is ac vated.
Note: The default mode is ac ve TRACKER.
It load current data: Send the SMS: “load + password” will receive the message: “load ok” if the device is working
properly in GPRS mode and load the data to the web pla orm. If it is not working correctly you receive the messa-
ge: “load fail”.
Load data by date: Send SMS: “load + password + space + year month day” will receive the message: “load ok” and
the data is uploaded to the web pla orm on the chosen date.
Example: Send SMS: “load123456 20,110,425” means loading the data of April 25, 2011.
Automa c recording: When the device loses its GSM or GPRS signal, stores the posi on and will automa cally
alert. When the signal returns GMS, all alerts will be sent to the authorized numbers and stored data should ma-
nually ride the monitoring pla orm via SMS.
Limited storage: Send SMS: “save030s005n + password”, you receive the message: “save ok”, and the la tude and
longitude are stored every 30 seconds for fi ve mes.
Unlimited storage: Send SMS: “save030s *** n + password” will receive the message “save ok”.
Remove Card: Send the SMS: “clear + password”, you receive the message: “clear ok”.
Data stored on the MicroSD card can be copied to computers through a card reader (not included) and impor ng
the data can be checked in the menu “data import” of the web pla orm: www.gpstrackerxy.com (subscrip on
required, no included).

Send the SMS: “lowba ery + password + space + on” to ac vate it, you receive the following message: “low ba-
ery + la tude / longitude” authorized 2 mes at an interval of 15 minutes numbers when the ba ery voltage
is low (less than 3,55V). By default this feature is enabled, if you want to deac vate send the following SMS:
“lowba ery + password + space + off ”.
You can confi gure a “zone” for the device to restrict the movements to that area. A message to the authorized
numbers will be sent when you leave the area.
Confi gura on: When the device is stopped in a place for 3-10 minutes, the user can send the following SMS:
“stockade + password + space + la tude, longitude; la tude, longitude” to defi ne an area and restrict move-
ment to that area . When you get out of that area you will receive an SMS: “stockade + la tude & longitude”
authorized a 3 minute interval numbers.
To cancel the alerts, send the following SMS: “nostockade + password”.
Note: The fi rst la tude and longitude coordinates correspond to the upper le corner of the area we want to
defi ne and second lower right corner.
Set the area
Send the following SMS: “area + password + space + la tude, longitude + space + AreaName, distan-
ceM” device (M for meters, K for kilometers), you will receive: “area01 ok”. Example: Send “area123456
22.353648,113.543678 school, 800M”.
Note: You can defi ne fi ve areas. The diff erent areas can not occupy the same space.
Clearing areas
Send the following SMS: “noarea + password + space + area name” and receive the message: “noarea ok”.
Rename and set the distance
Send the following SMS: “rename + password + space + old name, new name, distanceM” to the device, if the
name is not repeated and the area does not cover other areas, you receive the following message: “rename ok!”.
Example: Send “rename123456 area01; school, 800M” means that the new name of the area is “school” and
covers a radius of 800 meters.
Ac vate mul zone or mul -area management
Send the following SMS: “area + password + space + on” and get the following message: “Area on ok” when the
device enters the predefi ned area, sent a message: “area name + la tude & longitude” to all authorized numbers
and another message when out of that area.

Send: “area+password+space+off ” to deac vate this func on. You will get: ”area off ok!”
Send the SMS: “EXTPOWER + password + space + on” to ac vate it, you receive the following message:“power
alarm + la tude / long tude” to the authorized numbers every 3 minutes when disconnected from external
power. By default it is enabled. To deac vate, send the following SMS: “EXTPOWER + password + space + off ”.
Pressing the SOS bu on for 3 seconds, the device will send the following message: “help me + lat / long!..” Au-
thorized a 3 minute interval numbers. To stop no ces must send the following SMS: “help me!” To the device.
This feature is disabled by default. To ac vate it, send the following SMS: “gpssignal + password + space + on”
and get the following message: “no valid GPS + last la tude / longitude” authorized before losing the signal
numbers. To deac vate, send the following SMS: “gpssignal + password + space + off ”.

Confi gura on: When the device is stopped in a place for 3-10 minutes receiving the GPS signal, the user can
send the next SMS. “Move + password + space + 0200” (represen ng an area with a radius of 200 meters must
be put 4 digits and the unit is the meter). You receive the following message: “move OK”. If it moves (the default
distance is 200 meters), it will send a message: “Move + la tude & longitude” authorized a 3 minute interval
numbers. To cancel it, send the following SMS: “nomove + password”.
The shock sensor alarm is automa cally ac vated when the device is armed. If a crash occurs, it will send the
following SMS: “Sensor alarm + lat / long” to the authorized numbers. To stop it, send “disarm + password”.
Se ng the shock sensor sensi vity:
First level: The alarm is ac vated a er detec ng a slight vibra on. Send the SMS: “sensi vity + password +
space + 1”.
Second level: 8 vibra on alarm detector is ac vated a er 2 seconds. Send the SMS: “sensi vity + password +
space + 2”.
Third level: 25 vibra on alarm detector ac vated a er 5 seconds. Send the SMS: “sensi vity + password +
space + 3”.
The device will send the SMS: “ACC alarm + lat / long” to the authorized within a range of 3 minutes when
the car engine is started number. If you do not want to send us this message we disable this op on using the
following SMS: “disarm + password”.
Confi gura on: Send the following SMS:. “Speed + password + space + 080” to set the speed limit at 80 km / h,
you will receive a message: “speed OK” if everything went correctly. “Speed + 080 + la tude & longitude” au-
thorized in an interval of 3 minutes numbers: When the device exceed the speed shown the following message
is sent. To cancel it, send the following SMS: “nospeed + password”.
Note: It is not recommended to set a speed lower than 40 km / h.

Send SMS “imei + password” and receive a message with the IMEI number.
Send the SMS: “+ space + me zone + password + space + me” will receive the following message: “ me OK” if
everything went correctly.
Example: Send SMS: “ me zone123456 8”, 8 is the me zone of China, If your country is less me zone, send an
SMS: “ me zone123456 -8”.
Send SMS “GPRS + password, 0.0” to switch to TCP mode, you receive a message. This is the default mode.
Send SMS “GPRS + password, 1.0” to switch to TCP mode, no message will be received.
Send SMS “GPRS + password, 0.1” to switch to UDP mode, you receive a message.
Send SMS “GPRS + password, 1.1” to switch to UDP mode, no message will be received.
Send the SMS: “Schedule + password + space + 1h” to wake up the device each me and loca on will be sent
automa cally every me the device wakes up. The format to be used is as follows: m: minutes h: hours, d: days).
The maximum number of digits is 3 and can not exceed 30 days. GSM and GPS modules are switched off , the de-
vice will be in mode “low power”. Calls or SMS can not wake up the device. The alarms can be ac vated normally,
a er canceling the alarm, the device will wake up at the specifi ed me. A no fi ca on will be sent when the device
wakes up.
Cancella on: A er waking up, send the SMS: “noschedule + password” and this func on is disabled.
To reset the device must send the following SMS: “reset + password”. You receive the following message: “reset
ok” and GSM and GPS se ngs are reset.

You send the SMS: “sleep + password + space + me” will receive the message “sleep me ok” if any schedu-
led alarms jumped and no opera ons, the device will enter sleep mode within 5 minutes. The GPS module is
off , the LED turns off . By call or SMS can “wake up” the device. Example: “sleep123456 me”. (This mode only
works under SMS mode).
Send the SMS: “sleep + password + space + shock” you will receive the message “shock sleep ok” and enter into
sleep mode if no vibra on is detected. The GPS module and the LED will turn off . Any vibra on or opera on
can “wake” the device again. (This mode only works under SMS mode).
You send the SMS: “sleep + password + space + off ” will receive the message: “sleep off ok”. The device will not
enter sleep mode. GPS and GSM modules con nue to operate. This is the default mode.
You send the SMS: “sleep + password + space + deepshock” will receive the message: “sleep deepshock ok” and
enter into deep sleep mode if vibra ons are detected. GPS and GSM modules are off . This is the lowest con-
sump on mode. Any vibra on or opera on can not wake up the device. The alarms can be ac vated normally,
a er canceling the alarm, the device returns to deep sleep mode.

The user must send SMS from the phone to set up APN, IP and port before star ng tracking by GPRS.
The device will switch to “less” GPRS traffi c a er 5 minutes have “parked”. GPRS mode disconnects and recon-
nects when an alarm or the vehicle begins to move again is received.
To enable this feature, send an SMS: “less gprs123456 on”, you receive the following message: “less gprs on ok”.
To disable this feature, send an SMS: “less gprs123456 off ”, you receive the following message: “Less gprs off ok”.
Note: 123456 is the password.
The default mode is SMS. To switch to GPRS mode, send SMS “GPRS + password”, you receive the following mes-
sage: “GPRS ok!” And the device will GPRS mode. To switch to SMS mode, send the SMS: “SMS + password”, you
receive the following message: “SMS ok!” And the device will SMS mode.

The confi gura on of the access point names (APN) is diff erent for each country and mobile operator. In order
to confi gure it properly we contact our telephone operator to tell us the necessary data APN name, user name
and password.
Send the following SMS: “APN + password + space + local your APN” to the device to set the APN. If
everything went successfully, you receive the following message: “APN OK”.
Example: Send SMS: “APN123456 CMNET”. If successful we will return, “APN OK”
Note: 123456 is the default password and the name of the APN CMNET an operator.
In most countries, the username and password to confi gure the APN are not needed and this step should not
do it. (However this should always confi rm with our mobile operator).
For countries or operators that do require user and password we do the following:
Send SMS “up + password + space + space + user + password”, if everything is correxcto receive a message
“user, password ok!”.
Example: Send SMS: “up123456 Jonnes 666666”.
Note: 123456 is the password, Jonnes is the user and password 666666 APN.
Send the SMS: adminip + password + space + space + + IPAddress Port Number. If everything is correct, you
receive the message: “adminip OK”.
Example: Send SMS: “adminip123456 202.104.150.75 9000” will receive the message: “adminip OK”. (123456
is the default password is the IP address 202.104.150.75, 9000 is the port).

FAULTS AND SOLUTIONS
Please follow the instruc ons below to extend the life of the device:
1. Keep the device dry. Any liquid can damage or destroy the internal circuitry and device.
2. Do not use or store in dirty and damp places.
3. Do not use in hot or cold places.
4. Handle the device carefully. Do not shake violently.
5. Do not disassemble or unmount.
6. Please read the user manual carefully before you install and use.

Note that SMS messages will be billed to the SIM card so we recommend using a tariff
free SMS.

Terms and Conditions of Warranty for UNOTEC
Certifi cate of guarantee
By this certifi cate, TEC1 ELECTRONICS GROUP, SA warrants this product is free from defects in materials and work-
manship at the time of its original purchase by consumers to trade, and for a period of two years from delivery, except the
battery thereof is warranted with a duration of six months. If during this period of validity of the product warranty manifest
any defects in materials and / or improper work hand during manufacture, the consumer must inform TEC1 ELECTRON-
ICS GROUP, SA within 15 days after he has knowledge of the defect, and may choose between demanding the repair or
replacement, unless one of these options is impossible or disproportionate. When the consumer chooses repair product or
the replacement of the impossible, TEC1 technical service will repair the product according to the conditions listed below. If
it proves impossible to return the product to work correctly, TEC1 ELECTRONICS GROUP, after repeated attempts SA will
off er another product functionally equivalent.

1. This warranty is valid for the purchase of products UNOTEC from the purchase date if the Warranty Certifi cate is pre-
sented with the original invoice or cash receipt given to the consumer by trade, and if the certifi cate Warranty completed at
the time of sale specifi ed:
a) Full name of the buyer.
b) The name, address and stamp trade.
c) The model of the product purchased.
d) The date of purchase.

or amended after the original purchase of the product by the consumer trade.
2. This warranty expressly excludes the following cases:
