guárdelo para consultas futuras.
General
• Lea cuidadosamente las instrucciones contenidas
en este manual y guárdelo para consultas futuras.
• Use el hervidor de acuerdo con las instrucciones
aquí indicadas.
• El hervidor no ha sido diseñado para ser utilizado
por personas (incluyendo niños) con capacidades
físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas o por
personas que no cuentan con la experiencia ni los
conocimientos necesarios acerca de su uso, a menos
que estén supervisadas por una persona responsable
de su seguridad.
• Los niños deben mantenerse supervisados en todo
momento para evitar que jueguen con el hervidor.
• El hervidor sólo debe ser reparado por un técnico
debidamente calicado. No intente repararlo usted.
Electricidad y calor
• Antes de usar el hervidor, verique que el voltaje
de la red sea el mismo indicado en la placa de
identicación.
• Asegúrese de siempre usar un tomacorriente con
conexión a tierra.
• Siempre desenchufe el hervidor antes de moverlo y
cuando no esté en uso.
• Desenchufe el cable eléctrico tomando el enchufe,
no tire del cable.
• Revise frecuentemente el cable eléctrico para
conrmar que no esté dañado. No use el hervidor si
el cable está dañado. Si el cable está dañado, llévelo
a un centro de servicio técnico para que lo reparen.
• Algunas piezas del hervidor se pueden calentar; no
las toque para evitar quemaduras.
• El hervidor se debe instalar en un lugar donde haya
espacio suciente para que salga el calor, evitando
así el riesgo de incendio. Asegúrese de que el
hervidor cuente con suciente espacio alrededor y
no esté en contacto con materiales inamables; no
lo cubra.
• Evite que el hervidor, el cable eléctrico o el enchufe
estén en contacto con supercies calientes, p.ej.,
llamas vivas o quemadores.
• Evite que el hervidor, el cable eléctrico y el enchufe
estén en contacto con agua.
Instrucciones de Uso
• No use el hervidor al aire libre.
• Coloque el hervidor sobre una supercie plana y
estable.
• Siempre desenchufe el hervidor después de usarlo
y antes de limpiarlo.
• Evite que el cable eléctrico cuelgue sobre el borde
de los mesones.
• Asegúrese de que las manos estén secas antes de
tocar el hervidor, el cable eléctrico o enchufe.
• No use el hervidor en un ambiente húmedo.
• No sumerja el hervidor, el enchufe o el cable
eléctrico en agua o en otros líquidos.
• Si el hervidor cae al agua, no lo tome, desenchúfelo
inmediatamente y no lo use más.
• Sólo use la base del hervidor incluida. No use la
base para otros nes.
• Retire la jarra de la base y llénela con agua de la
llave. No llene la jarra sobre el nivel “max”.
• Sólo encienda el hervidor después de llenarlo con
agua. Use sólo agua fría.
• La tapa de la jarra debe estar correctamente
cerrada mientras el hervidor se encuentra en uso.
• No abra la tapa si el agua aún está hirviendo.
• Use el hervidor sólo para hervir o calentar agua.
¡No lo use para otros líquidos!
• Llene el hervidor con un mínimo de 0.5 litros de
agua.
• Deje el hervidor enfriar a temperatura ambiente
antes de guardarlo.
• No use un timer externo ni un sistema de control
remoto para operar el hervidor.

Este aparato es sólo para uso doméstico, no para uso
profesional.


Antes de usar el hervidor por primera vez
Antes de usar el hervidor por primera vez, elimine
posibles residuos del proceso de producción,
hirviendo 3 jarras llenas de agua. Bote el agua
después de hervirla.
Sugerencia: Puede usar vinagre o un antisarro la
primera vez que lo usa.
Instrucciones de Uso
1. Gire la jarra de modo que la boquilla quede alejada
de usted.
2. Presione el botón para abrir la tapa (4).
3. Llene la jarra con la cantidad necesaria de agua
(mínimo 0.5 litros / máximo 2 litros). No llene el
hervidor por sobre el nivel “Max” indicado. De lo
contrario, el agua caliente puede saltar y salpicar la
base.
ATENCION
Asegúrese de no salpicar agua alrededor de la base
del hervidor.
4. Presione el botón para abrir la tapa.
5. Coloque la jarra sobre la base y enchufe el cable
eléctrico al tomacorriente. Presione el switch de
encendido/apagado. El indicador se iluminará.
6. El hervidor ahora está encendido y el agua se
comenzará a calentar. La jarra se desconecta
automáticamente unos segundos después de que el
agua ha terminado de hervir. El indicador ahora se
apagará.
7. Retire la jarra de la base tomándola por el asa y
vacíe el agua.
ATENCION
Tenga cuidado y evite el contacto con el agua caliente
debido a que puede producir serias quemaduras.
8. Si sólo desea calentar agua y no hervirla, presione
el switch de encendido / apagado para desconectar
el hervidor en cualquier momento que lo desee.
9. Desenchufe el hervidor una vez que ha terminado
de usarlo.
Precauciones en Caso de Sobrecalentamiento
El hervidor incluye un dispositivo de seguridad en
caso de calentamiento que permite desconectarlo
al hacerlo funcionar sin agua (o sin la cantidad
suciente). Espere unos 10 minutos a que el hervidor
se enfríe antes de volver a usarlo.
Instrucciones de limpieza y mantenimiento
• Desenchufe el hervidor y déjelo enfriar.
• Limpie la jarra con un paño húmedo. No la
sumerja en agua. No coloque el hervidor dentro de
una lavavajillas. Asegúrese de que las conexiones
eléctricas no se humedezcan.
• Si el interior de la jarra se ha decolorado, la mejor
manera de limpiarlo es con un paño húmedo y
un poco de bicarbonato. Después de limpiarla,
enjuáguela bien.
ATENCION
• No use agentes corrosivos, limpiadores abrasivos
u objetos con punta para limpiar el hervidor (como
cuchillos o cepillos duros).
• Antes de limpiarlo, asegúrese de que el hervidor no
esté enchufado y que se haya enfriado.
Eliminación de Sarro
El hervidor cuenta con un sistema calefactor integral
que evita la acumulación de sarro, por lo tanto, no
será necesario eliminar el sarro.
Sin embargo, si quisiera eliminar posibles
acumulaciones de sarro:
1. Desenchufe el hervidor y déjelo enfriar.
2. El hervidor incluye un ltro antisarro. Antes de
limpiar el hervidor, retire el ltro.
3. Llene la jarra con una solución de vinagre al nivel
MAX y déjela hervir.
4. Deje la jarra remojando con la solución de vinagre
por un par de horas.
5. Vacíe la jarra, llénela con agua limpia hasta el nivel
MAX y luego déjela hervir. Vacíe la jarra y repita este
proceso nuevamente.
• No use amoníaco u otros productos para eliminar
el sarro debido a que pueden ser dañinos para la
salud. Sólo use una solución de vinagre o productos
antisarro disponibles en el mercado.

Safety Instructions
General
• Please read these instructions carefully and retain
them for reference.
• Use this appliance solely in accordance with these
instructions.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
• Have any repairs carried out solely by a qualied
electrician. Never try to repair the appliance yourself.
Electricity and heat
• Before use please verify that the mains voltage is the
same as indicated on the rating plate of the appliance.
• Make sure that you always use an earthed wall socket
to connect the appliance.
• Always remove the plug from the mains socket before
moving the appliance and when the appliance is not in
use.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket by pulling the
plug, not the power cord.
• Check the appliance’s power cord regularly to make
sure it is not damaged. Do not use the appliance if the
power cord is damaged. Have a damaged power cord
replaced by a qualied repair service.
• Certain parts of the appliance may get hot. Do not
touch these parts to prevent burning yourself.
• The appliance needs space to allow heat to escape,
thereby preventing the risk of re. Make sure that the
appliance has sucient space around it, and does not
come in contact with ammable material. The appliance
must not be covered.
• Make sure that the appliance, the power cord or the
plug do not make contact with hot services, such as a hot
hob or naked ame.
• Make sure that the appliance, the power cord and plug
do not make contact with water.
During use
• Never use the appliance outdoors.
• Place the appliance on a at, stable surface.
• Always remove the plug from the wall socket after use,
and before cleaning the appliance.
• Never allow the power cord to hang over the edge of
the draining board, worktop or table.
• Make sure that your hands are dry before touching the
appliance, power cord or plug.
• Never use the appliance in a humid room.
• Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power
cord in water or other liquid.
• Do not pick up the appliance if it falls into water.
Remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and
do not use the appliance any more.
• Use solely the base supplied with the jug kettle. Never
use the base for other purposes.
• Remove the jug from the base, and ll with water from
the tap. Never ll the jug above the ‘max’ level.
• Do not switch on the appliance before you have lled it
with water. Fill only with cold water.
• The jug’s lid must remain securely closed whilst the
appliance is in use.
• Never open the lid when the water is still boiling.
• Use the appliance only to boil or heat water. Never use
it for other liquids!
• Fill the jug kettle with at least 0,5 litre of water.
• Allow the appliance to cool to room temperature
before storage
• This appliance may not be used through an external
timer or by means of a remote control.

The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for
professional use.

Before use for the rst time
Before rst use, remove possible manufacturing process
residues by boiling 3 full kettles of water. Dispose this
water.
Tip: You can use vinegar or special descaling agents for
the rst time.
Use
1. Turn the jug so that the spout faces away from you.
2. Press the button to open the lid (4).
3. Fill the jug with the required quantity of water (at
least 0.5 liters, and a maximum of 2.0 liters). Never ll
the water boiler over the “max”. Otherwise the hot water
can spatter out of the base.
ATTENTION
Make sure that you do not spill any water on the base.
4. Release the button to open the lid.
5. Place the jug on the base, and insert the plug in the
wall socket. Push down the on/o switch. The on/o
pilot light will illuminate.
6. The jug kettle is now switched on, and the water
will now begin to heat. The jug kettle switches o
automatically a few seconds after the water has come to
the boil. The on/o pilot light will now extinguish.
7. Remove the jug from the base by the handle, and pour
the water out.
ATTENTION
Be carefully you do not contact the hot water. It can
cause serious burning wounds
8. When you wish to heat the water without it coming
to the boil you can switch o the jug kettle at any time
you require.
9. Remove the plug from the wall socket when you have
nished using the jug kettle.
Overheating safeguard
The jug kettle is tted with an overheating safeguard.
This will switch o the jug kettle if it is operated without
(sucient) water. Allow the jug kettle to cool down for at
least 10 minutes before using it again.
Cleaning and maintenance
• Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the
appliance to cool.
• Clean the jug with a damp cloth. Never immerse
the appliance in water. Never put the appliance in a
dishwasher. Make sure that the electrical connections do
not become damp.
• If the interior of the jug has become severely
discolored, then the best way to clean it is with a damp
cloth and a little washing soda. After cleaning, rinse the
jug very thoroughly.
ATTENTION
• Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or
sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean
the appliance.
• Before cleaning, make sure that the appliance is not
connected to the power supply and that it has cooled
down.
Descaling
This appliance is equipped with an integral heating
element, and consequently limescale will not be formed.
Consequently you do not need to descaled the appliance.
However, if you nevertheless do wish to descale the
appliance:
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket, and allow the
appliance to cool.
2. The jug kettle is tted with a descaling lter. This lter
must be removed for cleaning.
3. Fill the jug with a vinegar solution to the MAX level, and
bring to the boil.
4. Leave the jug with the vinegar solution to stand for a
couple of hours.
5. Empty the jug, ll with clean water to the MAX level,
and bring to the boil. Empty the jug. Repeat this process
twice.
• Never use ammonia or other products to descale the
appliance. These can be injurious to your health. Use
solely a vinegar solution, or special descaling agents
available from retailers.
