Introduction
INTRODUCTION
The Enchanted Smartphone is an educational role play toy that
your child will love. With voice activated play, your little one can talk to
animal friends and leave a message for Princess Sofia. Nine activities
feature phonics, counting, music and more!

of this toy, and should be discarded for your
child’s safety.
NOTE: Please keep the user’s manual as it contains important
information.
GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of
the unit.
3. Install 2 new “AA” (LR6/AM-3) batteries
following the diagram inside the battery
box. (The use of new, alkaline batteries is
recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the
screw to secure.

Unlock the packaging locks:
Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees
anti-clockwise.
Pull out the packaging locks.

Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and
batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they
must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain
substances that can be damaging to the environment and
human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate
that the battery contains more than the specied value of
mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in Battery
Directive (2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the
market after 13th August, 2005.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF BUTTON
To turn the unit ON, press the ON/OFF BUTTON.
Press the ON/OFF BUTTON again to turn the unit
OFF.
2. ACTIVITY BUTTONS
Press one of the ACTIVITY BUTTONS to select an
activity.
3. SETTINGS BUTTON
Press the SETTINGS BUTTON to adjust the LCD
contrast or turn the background music on or off.
4. PHONE CALL BUTTON
Press the PHONE CALL BUTTON to leave Sofia a
message.
5. CANCEL CALL BUTTON
Press the CANCEL CALL BUTTON when you have
finished your message.
6. MICROPHONE
The MICROPHONE is used for the voice activation
feature. The suggested distance to keep between the
microphone and your mouth is about 4-5 inches.
7. ENTER & ARROW BUTTONS
Press the ARROW BUTTONS to navigate on the
screen or to select an option then press the ENTER
BUTTON to confirm your choice.

8. NUMBER BUTTONS
Press the NUMBER BUTTONS to learn numbers
ortoanswernumberrelatedquestions.
9. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the unit will automatically turn off after several
minutes of inactivity. The unit can be turned on again by pressing the
ON/OFF BUTTON. The unit will also automatically turn off when
the batteries are very low. A warning will be displayed on screen as a
reminder to change the batteries.
ACTIVITIES
CHAT WITH FRIENDS
Sofia loves talking to her animal friends. Would you like to talk to them too
UsethearrowstochooseoneofSofia’sanimalfriendsthenpressenterto
confirm. Then speak into the microphone to have a chat.
COUNTING
Wow!Amber’sgoingtoshowushowtodecorateaparasol!Pressanumber
button to see and count the decorations that Princess Amber is using.
HELP KING ROLAND
Kind Roland is arranging a royal ball and he is going to need some help.
PressthenumberbuttonsinthecorrectsequencetohelpKindRolandfind
the person.
LETTER BREAD
QueenMirandaismakingbreadforthevillagers’ball.Blowtheflouraway
to see which letter Queen Miranda has made.

Care & Maintenance
PRINCE JAMES PUzzLE
Uh-oh. James broke a few things practising his circus tricks. Help Sofia
fix the broken objects by matching the pictures correctly. Use the arrows
to choose the correct picture, and then press enter to confirm your choice.
LETTERS & WORDS
Learn phonics and words with Sofia at the Royal Prep Academy. Use the
arrows to choose a letter then press enter to confirm your choice.
SORT THE BOOKS
HelpSofiasortthebooksbyansweringtheletterandnumberquestions.
Use the arrows to choose a letter then press enter to confirm your choice
or press a number button to answer.
FLY THE KITE
Sofia wants to show Clover her new kite, will you help Sofia get it up the
hill Blow into the microphone to help the kite fly!
MUSIC TIME
Dance with Sofia! There are 9 melodies to choose from. Press the 1-9 number
buttons or use the arrows to select then press enter to play a melody. Press
the 0 number button for a surprise!
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended period
of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to
moisture or water.

Troubleshooting
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions,
pleasefollowthesesteps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of batteries.
