Introduction
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the VTech®Sort & Discover Activity Cube™
learning toy!
Play on five sides of the Sort & Discover Activity Cube™. Slide, press,
roll and flip the fun manipulative play features while learning colors,
numbers, animals and more. 4 shape sorter blocks fit into the side of
the cube to develop hand-eye coordination while the spinning blocks
and beads develop motor skills.

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover below the piano
buttons. Use a screwdriver to loosen the
screw.
3. Install 2 new ‘AA’ (AM-3/LR6) batteries
following the diagram inside the battery
box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is
recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the
screw to secure the battery cover.
Included In This Package
Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees
counter-clockwise.
Pull out the packaging locks.

BATTERY NOTICE
• Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if
removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.

1. ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
To turn the unit ON, slide the ON/OFF/
VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH to the
LOW VOLUME ( ) or the HIGH
VOLUME ( ) position. To turn the
unit OFF, slide the ON/OFF/VOLUME
CONTROL SWITCH to the OFF ( )
position.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech®Sort & Discover Activity
Cube™will automatically power-down after approximately 35
seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing
any button.

ACTIVITIES
1. Slide the on/off/volume control switch
to turn the unit on. You will hear a playful
song and phrase with fun sounds. The
lights will ash with the sounds.
2. Press the light-up piano keys to learn
colors, numbers and animals and hear
a variety of melodies. When a melody is
playing, press the piano keys to play the
song note by note. The lights will ash
with the sounds.
3. Turn the book page to hear nursery
rhymes. The lights will ash with the
sounds.
4. Press the bear button to hear playful
songs. The lights will flash with the
sounds.
5. Spin the dial on the top of the cube,
when the cursor points at an animal, you
will learn about the animal. The lights will
ash with the sounds.

6. If there is no input to the unit after approximately 10 seconds, you
will hear a question about the animals on the piano keys. After
another 10 seconds without input, you will hear a fun phrase. If
there continues to be no input for another 10 seconds, the unit will
play a short tune and power down. The unit can be turned on again
by pressing any button or by spinning the dial.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions,
please follow these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of batteries.

Vous venez d’acquérir Super cube des découvertes de VTech®.
Félicitations !
Grâce aux 5 faces d’activités du cube, Bébé peut faire de nombreuses
manipulations et découvertes. Super ! Il apprend les couleurs, les
chiffres, les animaux et bien plus encore grâce au panneau électronique.
En jouant avec le trieur de formes et les nombreux autres éléments à
manipuler, il exerce sa coordination main-œil et développe sa motricité
fine.

1. ALIMENTATION
1.1. INSTALLATION DES PILES
1. Avant d’insérer les piles, s’assurer que le jouet
est éteint.
2. Ouvrir le compartiment à piles situé sous les
touches de piano à l’aide d’un tournevis.
3. Insérer 2 piles LR6/AA en respectant le schéma
qui se trouve dans le compartiment à piles.
4. Refermer soigneusement le couvercle du
compartiment à piles et s’assurer que la vis est
bien serrée.
CONTENU DE LA BOÎTE / ALIMENTATION
Pour retirer l’attache de la boîte :
Tourner l’attache permettant de xer le jouet à sa
boîte dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
Retirer et jeter l’attache en plastique.

1.2. MISE EN GARDE
Les piles fournies avec le produit permettent de tester le jouet en
magasin mais ne sont pas des piles longue durée.
• Utiliser des piles alcalines neuves pour des performances
maximales.
• Seules des piles du type recommandé au point précédent doivent
être utilisées.
• Ne pas mélanger différents types de piles ou d’accumulateurs,
ne pas mélanger des piles ou des accumulateurs neufs avec des
usagés.
• Ne pas utiliser des piles ou des accumulateurs endommagés.
• Mettre en place les piles ou les accumulateurs en respectant les
polarités + et –.
• Ne pas mettre les bornes d’une pile ou d’un accumulateur en court-
circuit (en reliant directement le + et le –).
• Enlever les piles ou les accumulateurs usagés du jouet.
• Retirer les piles ou les accumulateurs en cas de non-utilisation
prolongée.
• Ne les jeter ni au feu ni dans la nature.
• Ne pas tenter de recharger des piles non rechargeables.
• Enlever les accumulateurs du jouet pour les recharger.
• Les accumulateurs ne doivent être chargés que sous la surveillance
d’un adulte.

2. POUR COMMENCER À JOUER...
2.1CURSEUR MARCHE/ARRÊT/RÉGLAGE DU VOLUME
SONORE
Pour mettre en marche le jouet, déplacer
le curseur Marche/Arrêt/Réglage du
volume sonore sur la position pour
un volume faible, ou sur la position
pour un volume fort. Pour éteindre le
jouet, déplacer le curseur Marche/
Arrêt/Réglage du volume sonore sur
la position .
2.1ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE
Si le jouet n’est pas activé pendant quelques secondes, Super cube
des découvertes invite l’enfant à jouer. Si l’enfant ne manipule
toujours aucun bouton, le jouet s’éteint automatiquement. Pour le
réactiver, il suffit d’appuyer sur n’importe quel bouton ou de tourner
l’aiguille.
3. ACTIVITÉS

une jolie chanson et des sons rigolos. Les

2. Appuyer sur les touches de piano
lumineuses pour découvrir les couleurs,
les chiffres et les animaux ainsi que
des mélodies. Appuyer sur une touche
de piano lorsqu’une mélodie est jouée
pour jouer la mélodie note par note. Les
lumières clignotent en rythme avec les
sons.
3. Tourner la page du livre pour écouter
des chansons amusantes.
4. Appuyer sur le bouton Ourson pour
écouter des chansons amusantes. Les
lumières clignotent en rythme avec les
sons.
5. Faire tourner l’aiguille pour apprendre
plein de choses sur les animaux et
les objets qui leur sont associés. Les
lumières clignotent au rythme des sons.
Pour la sécurité de votre enfant, veillez à garder ses pieds à
distance des ouvertures présentes sur le jouet. La surveillance
d’un adulte est recommandée lors de l’utilisation de ce jouet.

• Pour nettoyer Super cube des découvertes, utiliser un linge
légèrement humide. Ne pas utiliser de solvants ni de produits
corrosifs.
• Éviter toute exposition prolongée de Super cube des découvertes
au soleil ou à toute autre source de chaleur.
• Entreposer le jouet dans un endroit sec.
• Ce jouet est fabriqué avec des matériaux résistants. Néanmoins,
lui éviter les chocs contre des surfaces dures.
