INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the VTech® Turn & Learn Driver™! This
role-play toy introduces vehicles, animals, colors and numbers with fun
phrases and realistic car sounds. Encourage baby’s imagination while
turning the wheel, moving the little car and pressing the horn button. A
mirror, gear shifter and light-up trafc lights add to the fun.

through 90 degrees

GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom
of the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver
to loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new AA batteries following
the diagram inside the battery box.
(The use of new alkaline batteries is
recommended for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.

BATTERY NOTICE
• Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-
zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries.
• Do not use damaged batteries.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
• Do not dispose of batteries in re.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if
removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES.
PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
To turn the unit ON, turn the ON/
OFF/VOLUME CONTROL SWITCH
to the LOW VOLUME ( ) or HIGH
VOLUME ( ) position. To turn the
unit OFF, turn the ON/OFF/VOLUME
CONTROL SWITCH to the OFF ( )
position.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech®Turn & Learn Driver™ will
automatically power-down after approximately 50 seconds without
input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.

ACTIVITIES
1. Turn the on/off/volume control switch
to turn the unit on. You will hear playful
sounds, a song and a fun phrase. The
lights will ash with the sounds.
2. Slide the mode selector switch to
choose Animal Mode, Driving Mode or
Music Mode. You will hear fun sounds
and phrases or a song. The lights will
ash with the sounds.
3. Press the vehicle buttons to learn colors, animals and their
sounds in Animal Mode, learn vehicles and their sounds and daily
life in Driving Mode and learn numbers and enjoy playful songs
and melodies in Music Mode. When a melody is playing, press the
vehicle buttons to hear the song played note by note. The lights
will ash with the sounds.
4. Turn the steering wheel to hear fun sounds, phrases or melodies
in the different modes. When a melody is playing, turn the steering
wheel or press the vehicle and horn buttons to play fun sounds
over the melody. The lights will ash with the sounds.
5. Press the horn button to hear horn sounds, press and hold the
button to hear a long horn sound and fun phrases. The lights will
ash with the sounds.

6. Pull or push the gear shifter to hear fun phrases, sounds and short
tunes in different modes. The lights will ash with the sounds.
7. Move the signal lever to hear fun sounds and short tunes. The
lights will ash with the sounds.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for an
extended period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or malfunctions,
please follow these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with a new set of
batteries.

Vous venez d’acquérir Vroum vroum des découvertes de VTech®.
Félicitations !
Vroum vroum des découvertes est un tableau de bord interactif,
musical, parlant et lumineux. Il est doté de nombreuses fonctionnalités:
volant à faire tourner, levier de vitesse à actionner, clé de contact,
rétroviseur, clignotant et Klaxon pour permettre à Bébé de développer sa
motricité. Ses 5 touches colorées permettent de découvrir les animaux,
les couleurs, les chiffres ainsi que les véhicules. Vroum vroum des
découvertes contient 2 petites chansons, 10 mélodies et plein d’effets
sonores réalistes et amusants.

Pour retirer l’attache de la boîte :
Tourner l’attache permettant de xer le jouet
à sa boîte dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre.
Retirer et jeter l’attache en plastique.
1. ALIMENTATION
1.1. INSTALLATION DES PILES
1. Avant d’insérer les piles, s’assurer que le jouet est éteint.
2. Ouvrir le compartiment à piles situé au dos de Vroum vroum des
découvertes à l’aide d’un tournevis (non inclus).

3. Insérer deux piles AA/LR6 neuves en
respectant le schéma qui se trouve
dans le compartiment à piles.
4. Refermer soigneusement le couvercle
du compartiment à piles.
1.2. MISE EN GARDE
• Les piles fournies avec le produit permettent de tester le jouet en
magasin mais ne sont pas des piles longue durée.
• Utiliser des piles alcalines neuves pour des performances
maximales.
• Seules des piles du type recommandé au point précédent doivent
être utilisées.
• Ne pas mélanger différents types de piles ou d’accumulateurs.
Ne pas mélanger des piles ou des accumulateurs neufs avec des
usagés.
• Ne pas utiliser des piles ou des accumulateurs endommagés.
• Mettre en place les piles ou les accumulateurs en respectant les
polarités + et –.
• Ne pas mettre les bornes d’une pile ou d’un accumulateur en court-
circuit (en reliant directement le + et le –).
• Enlever les piles ou les accumulateurs usagés du jouet.
• Retirer les piles ou les accumulateurs en cas de non-utilisation
prolongée.
• Ne les jeter ni au feu ni dans la nature.
• Ne pas tenter de recharger des piles non rechargeables.
• Enlever les accumulateurs du jouet pour les recharger.
• Les accumulateurs ne doivent être chargés que sous la surveillance
d’un adulte.

2. POUR COMMENCER À JOUER…
2.1. MARCHE/ARRÊT
Pour mettre en marche Vroum vroum
des découvertes avec un volume
faible, tournez la clé sur la position
ou sur la position pour un volume
fort. Pour éteindre le jouet, tournez la
clé sur la position .
2.2. ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE
Si le jouet n’est pas activé pendant quelques secondes, Vroum
vroum des découvertes invite Bébé à jouer. Si Bébé ne manipule
toujours aucun bouton, le jouet s’éteint automatiquement. Pour le
réactiver, il suft d’appuyer sur n’importe quel bouton.
3. ACTIVITÉS
3.1. Tournez la clé sur la position Marche
pour mettre en route Vroum vroum des
découvertes et entendre une chanson
suivie d’une petite phrase, puis voir le
feu tricolore s’allumer.
3.2.Faites glisser le selecteur de sélection
pour choisir l’un des 3 modes de jeu :
Animaux, Conduite ou Musique. Bébé
entend des phrases éducatives, des
petites chansons ou des sons amusants.

3.3.Appuyez sur les touches Animaux/
Couleurs/Nombres/Véhicules pour
découvrir les animaux et les couleurs
dans le mode Animaux, les nombres et
les véhicules dans le mode Conduite. En
mode Musique, appuyez sur les touches
pour déclencher des mélodies. Lorsque les
mélodies sont jouées, appuyez sur les touches pour ajouter des
effets sonores amusants à la mélodie. Le feu tricolore s’allume
lorsqu’on appuie sur les boutons.
3.4.Tournez le volant pour entendre des sons,
des mélodies et des phrases amusantes
dans les différents modes. En mode
Musique, tournez le volant pour déclencher
des sons amusants et voir le feu tricolore
clignoter en rythme. Bébé peut aussi
s’amuser à klaxonner.
3.5.Appuyez sur le Klaxon pour entendre
différents bruits de Klaxon. Appuyez plus
longuement pour déclencher un plus long
bruit de Klaxon. Le feu tricolore clignote en
rythme.
3.6.Actionnez le levier de vitesses en haut ou
en bas pour entendre des phrases, des
sons amusants ou des mélodies. Le feu
tricolore clignote en rythme.
3.7.Bougez le clignotant pour actionner des
sons amusants et des mélodies. Le feu
tricolore clignote également.

6. ENTRETIEN
1. Pour nettoyer Vroum vroum des découvertes, utilisez un linge
légèrement humide. Ne pas utiliser de solvants ni de produits

2. Éviter toute exposition prolongée de Vroum vroum des
découvertes au soleil ou à toute autre source de chaleur.
3. Entreposer le jouet dans un endroit sec.
4. Ce jouet est fabriqué avec des matériaux résistants. Néanmoins,
lui éviter les chocs contre des surfaces dures.
