INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the Baby Drake™ learning toy! We at VTECH®
are committed to providing the best possible products to entertain and

The Baby Drake™ learning toy combines sound with visual and tactile
stimulation to delight your child for hours. With and easy to grasp body,
your child can activate the curriculum ofABC’s, numbers and shapes.The
Baby Drake™ learning toy is also equipped with a motion sensor. When
yourchildtouches Baby Drake'shead,they will hearfunphrases and music.
The Baby Drake™ learning toy will not only provide your child with
numerous learning activities, but also act as a companion throughout their
early years of development.

WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, wire ties
and tags are not part of this toy, and should be discarded for
your child’s safety.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the
bottomof theunit.Use ascrewdriver
to loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new “AA” (UM-3/LR6)
batteriesfollowingthediagram inside
the battery box. (The use of new
alkaline batteries is recommended
for maximum performance.)
4. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure the battery
cover.
BATTERY NOTICE
• Install batteries correctly observing the polarity ( +, - ) signs to avoid
leakage.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not use batteries of different types.
• Remove exhausted or new batteries from the equipment when the unit
will not be used for an extended period of time.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Do not attempt to recharge ordinary batteries.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

NOTE: Iffor some reasonthe program/activity stopsworking, pleasefollow
these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.

TO BEGIN PLAY
1. Press the ON/OFF BUTTON on the tail
once to turn the unit ON. You will hear a
dragon sound effect, “I’m Drake the
dragon”, a giggle sound effect, and “It’s
play time!”. The light will flash with the
sound.
2. Pressthe ON/OFF BUTTON againtoturn
the unit OFF. You will hear “It’s sleepy
time”, a dragon sound effect, and a short
tune. The light will flash with the sound.

AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTECH®Baby Drake™ learning toy will
automatically turn off after several minutes without input. The unit can be
turned on again by pressing any button.

“A”, a cute sound effect, and a melody.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keeptheunit out of directsunlightandawayfrom any direct heatsource.
3. Removethe batteries when the unitis notin use foran extendedperiod
of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit to
moisture or water.
