The hot cupboards V40-90 and V42-90 are divided into 3 inde-
pendent parts, each with its own thermostat, that is: the lower compartment [14], the upper com-
partment [15] and the hot table [16].
Switch on main switch [8] ⇒ The lamp [7] lights up
Turn the thermostat [4] to «60» if necessary the thermostat
[6] and the thermostat [2] during use
⇒ The lamp [3], [5] and [1] lights up
⇒ Pre-heating of plates = 1 to 1½h.

The plates will cool down even with
the heating switched on
The plates are made of on isolating material and the heat will take approximately 1 hour to pene-
trate to the centre of the plate. A plate which is heated too quickly is only hot on the surface and
will cool very quickly.
Cleaning: The interior must be kept very clean. Disconnect the apparatus and clean with a
damp cloth. To clean the box, lift the hinged shelf [9]. Never splash water into
the apparatus.
