Target Group
This installation guide is only intended for use by
installers who have an adequate working knowledge
of video systems.
The installation should be made by a qualified
service person and should conform to all local codes.

Liability claim
•Do not connect the device to the 230 V supply
network if it is damaged or any parts are

Setup
Damage due to unsuitable mounting location
•The environmental conditions recommended by
the manufacturer must be observed. See
Technical Data.
•Do not operate the device close to sources of
powerful electromagnetic radiation.
•Do not operate the device in dusty places.
•Protect the device against moisture.
Danger of electrical shock/fire hazard/damage to the
device due to incorrect connection
•Connect the device only to power sources with
the specified voltage. Voltage supply
requirements can be found on the rating label of
the device.
•Connect the device only to a limited power
source.
•Connect the equipment to 24 V AC UL Listed
Class 2 Power Supply or PoE.
•Ensure that the safety wire is engaged.
Power supply
Ensure that the AC power supply is stable and within
the rated voltage of the unit. Use an uninterrupted
power supply (UPS) to ensure a continuous function
of the unit in the event of power dips on the AC
mains supply.
Service and maintenance
The camera is maintenance-free. Small amounts of
dirt or dust can be cleaned from the camera body
using a clean soft cloth

Description of equipment
CCPW3025/CCPW5025 is a varifocal day/night IR
Bullet camera for multiple video surveillance
applications. It can be mounted to a wall or ceiling
indoors. Also it is suitable for several outdoor
appications. See Installation & Configuration Manual
for more information about the camera.
Installation
Step 1: Mounting camera
1. Drill 6 holes on mounting surface based on the
included mounting template.
2. Insert the 6 included anchors into the drilled
holes on the mounting surface.
3. Position camera to the mounting surface and
align it with the 6 drilled holes.
4. Fasten the 6 supplied screws to fasten camera
with mounting surface firmly.
5. Install a safety wire connected between camera
and mounting surface if necessary.
Step 2: Wiring connection
Alarm in/out, Audio in/out
Connect the audio in/out & alarm in/out cables to the
terminals (1) of camera.
IP interface
Connect a network cable for configuration and
operation via Internet to the RJ45 connector (3).
Video output Connector
If required, connect the included video cable to the
video output connector (9).
Power supply
Select one of the following options.
1. 24 V AC: Connect 24 V AC cable to the terminal
(2) of camera.
2. PoE: Connect a network cable to the RJ45
connector (3) via a PoE compatible hub, switch or
router.
Note: To avoid damage to the unit, never connect
more than one type of power supply (PoE / AC 24V)
at the same time.
Step 3: Adjusting camera position
1. The mounting bracket (4) has 3 axes for users to
adapt camera into different applications. Use a
cross screwdriver to loosen the screws of 3 axes
first and then rotate, tilt mounting bracket until
desired position.
2. After adjusting, make sure to retighten the
screws of 3 axes in case camera position will be
removed unexpectedly.

Start-up Procedure
1. Open IE browser and access the IP camera by
the following default settings.
Default settings:
IP address: 192.168.0.10
User: admin
Password: admin
2. Set the parameters and back up the
configuration.
Note: Read out the camera parameters and save a
copy of this configuration before making any
changes. During this process, the screen image may
be disturbed.
Set the parameters and back up the file. Detailed
information on parameter settings can be found in
the user manual on the CD.
