VariQuest® Design Center 2300D Unpacking and Setup Instrucons
Step 1: Unpack the box and check the contents
The VariQuest Design Center 2300D (DC2300D) and its
accessories are packed in a cardboard carton with foam padding
for protecon during shipment. Carefully unpack the system and
keep the packing materials for future use.
Verify the items in the box. If an item is missing or appears to be
damaged, contact your authorized VariQuest Dealer immediately.
Included in the box:
- All-in-one Touch PC - Power Cord - Keyboard & Mouse
(oponal*)
Step 3: Aach the stand
1. Aach the stand arm to the base with the two hand screws
located in the boom of the base.
Step 4: Connect the power cord
1. Connect the female end of the power cord into the power
supply brick (1).
2. Connect the other end of the power cord to an outlet (2).
3. Connect the round end of the power cord to the power supply
connector on the back of the DC2300D (3).

Step 2: Aach the stand arm to the base
1. Place the Design Center facedown on a so at surface. We
recommends that you set down a so cloth to protect the
screen surface.
2. Engage the hooks in the top of the
stand in the two large holes in the
upper part of the back of the
computer (1).
3. Rotate the stand down
unl it clicks into
place (2).

Step 5: Connect the VariQuest ® devices
Connect peripheral devices, such as the VariQuest Visual &
Kinesthec Learning Tools, to any of the USB ports on the
DC2300D. The below image shows the locaon of components
and ports.
When connecng the VariQuest Perfecta® Series Printer, please
refer to the setup and installaon instrucons provided with the
printer.
Drivers and ulies needed for VariQuest devices are preinstalled
on the DC2300D. If you plan to connect non-VariQuest devices to
the DC2300D, please refer to the user’s guide of those devices for
insllaon instrucons.
Step 6: Power on the Design Center 2300D
Press the Power Buon located under the display on the right
side of the unit.
When you turn on power to the DC2300D, the VariQuest Design
Center Soware is launched automacally. Refer to the VariQuest
Design Center Soware User’s Guide for details about using the
soware with each of the VariQuest devices.
