INTRODUCTION
This manual is made in order to familiarize you with your phone set. In order to get maximum benefits of this product, we suggest that you read
the User’s manual carefully before using your phone set.
FEATURES
FSK/DTMF dual system Auto switch, FSK message auto-adjusts the time of the unit.

INSTALLATION
This phone requires 2 AA-sized 1.5V batteries. Open the battery compartment cover and insert the batteries in the right polarity, then close the
cover. When you find that LCD display becomes very dark or incoming LCD not lighted, or some function is not correct, please change the
batteries.
Plug line cord into jack at the rear of the telephone base, the other end of the line cord should be connected to telephone line. Plug coiled cord
into
handset modular jack. Plug the other end into the jack at the left side of the telephone. Set ringer volume according to your personal
preference. Set the P/T switch as required by your telephone exchange.
Caller ID function is available only after you apply this service to the local telecom company.
SYSTEM SET UP
At on-hook state, press SET to enter the set at this time, LCD will display the item to set. You can press UP to select the different item you would
like to set up. When you choose one item, press SET again to go into the setting and use UP to change the different setting. When finished,
press SET to go into the next item setting. You can leave the set up mode at any time with DEL key.
The detailed setting steps are the following:
SETTING THE DATE
SET YEAR
Press the SET, LCD will display SET 1 DATE, press SET again to enter the setting date mode. The digit for year 2002 (represents the YEAR) will
illuminate on the LCD and 01 will flash, press UP or to edit the YEAR, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step-set the MONTH.
SET MONTH
The digit 1 M 1 D 00:00 (represents the MONTH, DATE, HOUR: MINUTE will illuminate on the LCD and 1 will flash, press UP to
edit the
MONTH, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step-set the DATE.
SET DATE
The digit for 1 M 1 D 00:00 (represents the MONTH,
DATE, HOUR: MINUTE) will illuminate on the LCD and 1 will flash, press UP or DOWN to
edit the DATE, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step-set the HOUR: MINUTE. Then the LCD automatically changes the Week of
that day.
SET TIME
The digit for 1 M 1 D 00:00 (represents the MONTH, DATE, HOUR: MINUTE) will illuminate on the LCD and 0 will flash, press UP to edit the first
digits of HOUR, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step-set the second digits of HOUR. 0 will flash, press UP or DOWN to edit the
second digits of HOUR, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step-set the first digits of TIME: MINUTE. 0 will flash, press UP to edit
the first digits of TIME: MINUTE, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step-set the second digits of TIME: MINUTE. 0 will flash, press
UP to edit the second digits of TIME: MINUTE, then press SET to confirm and carry on the next step CODE
SETTING THE AREA CODE
LCD will display SET 2 CODE; press SET to enter the set mode. LCD will display CODE - - - - - and - will flash to indicate to setAREA CODE.
Press UP to adjust theAREA CODE number and press SET to confirm. Repeat this operation to the last digit. You only need to set 5 digits, if it is
4-digit, you need to press SET twice to exit.
SETTING LONG DISTANCE CODE
LCD will display SET 3 LCODE; press SET to enter the set mode. LCD will display LCODE - - - - - and - will flash to indicate to set LONG
DISTANCE CODE. Press UP to adjust the LONG DISTANCE CODE number and press SET to confirm. Repeat this operation to the last digit.
You only need to set 5 digits,
if it is 4-digit, you need to press SET twice to exit.
SETTING THE FLASH TIME
LCD will display SET 4 FLASH,press SET to enter, and then LCD will display FLASH 1 600 to indicate the default flash time is 600 mini-
second. Press UP to select the right flash time and to press SET to confirm. There are six kind of choices: 90ms, 120ms,180ms,300ms, 600ms
and 1000ms.
SETANTI STEAL-DIALING FUNCTION
LCD will display SET 7 ALAR,press SET to enter, and then LCD will displayALAR OFF ,press UP or DOWN key to adjust from ALAR OFF to
ALAR ON according to your requirement. Press SET to confirm.

1. ALAR OFF: if you want to use an extension or use the unit on the line which voltage is lower than 24V? Please set the SET 7 ALAR on
ALAR OFF.
2. ALAR ON:Anti-steal dialing function is available in this area. If someone use your line illegally, the unit will auto emit interference signal to
fail the steal dialing. Pease set the SET 7ALAR onALAR ON
RINGER VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
Slide the ringer switch to HI/ LOW to adjust the ringer volume according to personal preference.
P/T MODE ADJUSTMENT
Slide the switch to P/T position to select PULSE or TONE dialing mode
ANSWERING CALLS
When receiving a phone call, the telephone will detect the FSK or DTMF format and display the calling number and the LCD will be lighted for
convenient use. If this is a FSK format caller ID signal, the current date and time display will also be updated. If this is a newly coming call, the
“NEW” icon will be displayed. If the incoming call is a repeat number, the “REP”icon will be displayed. If the incoming call is a private call, the icon
---P--- will be displayed. If the incoming call is out of area, the icon ---O--- will be displayed. If a wrong number comes in, the ---E--- will be
displayed.
FROM HANDSET
1. Pick up the handset. Talk with the other end.
2. When finished, return the handset to the cradle
SWITCH TO SPEAKER PHONE
1.When using handset, press SPEAKER key then return the handset to the base
2.When finished, press SPEAKER key again.
FROM SPEAKER PHONE
1.When the unit rings, press SPEAKER key, talk to the other end.
2.When finished, press SPEAKER key again.
NOTE: To receive the Caller ID message correctly, please answer a call after the telephone rings two times.
MAKING CALLS
USING HANDSET
1.Pick up the handset, and then you will hear a dialing tone.
2.Press the desired number. The LCD will display the call duration time after 6 seconds.
3.When finished, return the handset to the cradle.
USING SPEAKER PHONE
1. Press SPEAKER key, you can hear dialing tone
2. Dial desired number. Talk to the other end.
3. When finished, press SPEAKER key again
REDIAL
1.
If line is engaged

Press REDIAL key for REDIAL. The telephone will dial out the pre-telephone No. automatically.
AUTO-REDIAL
When the Telephone Number which You desire to call is busy on the line, the telephone will sent out the Busy warning. Press REDIAL key one
time, the telephone will dial out the telephone No. automatically and keep on dialing until connection. And the telephone will send out the back
ringing when it is connect through.
FLASH
Press FLASH key to use to transfer phone calls when you are using a telephone exchange (PABX). The flash time can be selected from 90ms,
120ms,180ms,300ms, 600ms and 1000ms.
PAUSE
Press PAUSE key when entering a telephone number! The letter P appears on the display. On the location where you have added a pause of
3.6 second
HOLD
Press HOLD button to hold the conversation. You can now talk freely without the caller hearing you. The caller will hear a digital melody. Press
HOLD button again if you want to resume your conversation.
RECEIVE THE CALLER ID NUMBER
When receiving a phone call, the telephone will detect the FSK format and display the calling number. If this is a FSK format caller ID signal, the
current date and time display will also be updated. If this is a newly coming call, the NEW icon will be displayed. If the incoming call is a repeat
number, the REP icon will be displayed. If the incoming call is a private call, the icon ---P--- will be displayed. If the incoming call is out of area,
the icon ---O--- will be displayed. If a wrong number comes in, the ---E--- will be displayed.
You can use UP or DOWN key to check the incoming call information including number, date and time, (holding UP or DOWN key over 3
second, you can check the incoming calls very fast) and you can directly dial back with REDIAL key. If you call back a local number, press
REDIAL one time; If you call back a
long distance number and the coming call is not headed with a “0” (or the long distance code number),

press REDIAL twice.
DIALED NUMBER CHECK
You can check the outgoing dialed numbers and the conversation time with the CHECK key. If you want to dial that number again, directly press
REDIAL key.
PRE-DIAL FUNCTION
At on-hook state, you can key in the calling number and edit the input mistake with the DEL key.After that, press REDIAL to dial out
.
DELETE FUNCTION
In set mode, DEL key is used to quit set.
When you use pre-dial function, DEL is used to correct the input mistake.
When you check the incoming call memories, DEL key is used to delete the unwanted memory. If you press DEL key and do not release for
more than 4 second, all memories will be deleted.
When you check the dialed call memories, DEL key is used to delete the unwanted memory. If you press DEL key and do not release for more
than 4 second, all memories will be deleted.
