6. Batteries
Open the battery compartment of the sensor and thermo-/hygrometer.
Before inserting the batteries, assign a channel to each sensor and choose
the temperature unit through the DIP switches. Install the necessary AAA
batteries according to the indicated polarity.
Only then can you install the batteries in the thermo-/hygrometer according
to the indicated polarity.
Close the battery compartments.
Warning: Do not puncture batteries or throw them in fire as
they may explode. Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable
batteries (alkaline). Dispose of batteries in accordance with local
regulations. Keep batteries away from children.

7. Installation
We recommend mounting the sensor on a
sheltered and shaded, north-facing wall.
Use a screw or nail (not included) to affix
the sensor as shown in the picture.
8. Pairing the Thermo-/Hygrometer with the
Sensor
8.1 Pairing
1. Move the sensor about 2 m away from the thermo-/hygrometer. If you
are using more than one sensor, make sure they are all powered up
and transmitting on a different channel.

2. Remove the batteries from the thermo-/hygrometer, wait 30 seconds
and insert them back into the thermo-/hygrometer.
3. The thermo-/hygrometer will automatically search and pair with the
transmitting sensors.
The thermo-/hygrometer is in search mode.
4. If you are using more than one sensor, the thermo-/hygrometer will
automatically toggle between sensors until all sensors have reported
in. Do not touch any buttons as long as the search mode is activated.
8.2 Verification
Verify that the indoor and outdoor values on the thermo-/hygrometer and
the sensors match within 10 %. Allow about 30 minutes for the thermo-
/hygrometer and the sensors to stabilize.
If the values do not match closely, proceed to the calibration of the devices.
8.3 Calibration
Calibration is only useful if you can compare the values against a known
calibrated source.
Humidity Calibration
1. Press CHANNEL to select the sensor you wish to calibrate.
2. Press and hold both ADJUST and MIN/MAX for 5 seconds. The humidity
value blinks.
3. Increase or decrease the value with CHANNEL or MIN/MAX.
4. Press ADJUST once to go back to the start value; press and hold
ADJUST to exit the calibration function.
Temperature Calibration
1. Press CHANNEL to select the sensor you wish to calibrate.
2. Press and hold ADJUST for 5 seconds. The temperature value blinks.
3. Increase or decrease the value with CHANNEL or MIN/MAX.
4. Press ADJUST once to go back to the start value; press and hold
ADJUST to exit the calibration function.

9. Operation
9.1 Comfort Icon
The comfort icon is based on the humidity level.

9.2 Weather Forecast Icon
The thermo-/hygrometer detects rapid changes in temperature and
humidity. According to those changes, the thermo-/hygrometer predicts the
weather for the coming hours.

9.3 Indoor/Outdoor Display
Press CHANNEL to toggle between the thermo-/hygrometer or the sensor.

9.4 Selecting the Temperature Unit
The default temperature will be displayed in degrees Celsius. To toggle
between units, hold MIN/MAX pressed for three seconds.

9.5 Min/Max Mode
This mode displays the recorded minimum and maximum temperature and
humidity values.
1. Select the sensor with CHANNEL.
2. Press MIN/MAX to toggle between the normal display, the minimum
and the maximum values.
10. Guidelines for Wireless Devices
Wireless communication is susceptible to interference, distance, walls and
metal barriers.
Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI)
Keep the thermo-/hygrometer away from monitors, computers, etc.
Radio Frequency Interference (RFI)
Keep the thermo-/hygrometer away from other devices using the
433 MHz frequency.
Line of Sight
The thermo-/hygrometer has a range of 100 m (no interference,
barriers or walls). Considering all obstacles, the range will be about
30 m.
Metal Barriers
Radio waves will not pass through metal such as aluminium.
Consider all metal barriers when installing the sensors.
11. Troubleshooting
The thermo-/hygrometer does not display any value.
•The signal has been lost or is not yet found. Pair the thermo-
/hygrometer with the sensors.
•The signal cannot reach the thermo-/hygrometer. Remove all
obstacles between the devices or reduce the distance between
them.
•The batteries are exhausted. Replace the batteries in the
thermo-/hygrometer and/or the sensors.
The indoor and outdoor temperatures do not match.
•The thermo-/hygrometer and/or the sensors are not stabilized
yet. Allow 30 minutes for the devices to optimize data
transmission.
•The thermo-/hygrometer is not calibrated. Refer to chapter
8.3 Calibration.

12. Cleaning and Maintenance
The thermo-/hygrometer does not need any particular maintenance.
However, occasionally wipe it with a damp cloth to keep it looking new. Do
not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong detergents.

1. Inleiding

6. Batterijen
Open het batterijvak van de sensor en de thermo-/hygrometer.
Voor u de batterijen plaatst, wijs aan elke sensor een kanaal toe en kies de
temperatuureenheid met de DIP-schakelaars. Plaats de AAA-batterijen
volgens de aangegeven polariteit.
Alleen zo kunt u de batterijen in de thermo-/hygrometer plaatsen volgens
de aangegeven polariteit.
Sluit de batterijvakken.

Waarschuwing: U mag batterijen nooit doorboren of in het
vuur gooien (explosiegevaar). Herlaad geen alkalinebatterijen.
Gooi batterijen weg volgens de plaatselijke milieuwetgeving.
Houd batterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen.

7. Montage
Monteer de sensor op een beschutte en
schaduwrijke noordmuur. Gebruik een
schroef of spijker (niet meegelev.) om de
sensor te bevestigen (zie afb.).

8. De thermo-/hygrometer aan de sensor
koppelen
8.1 Koppeling
1. Verplaats de sensor ongeveer 2 m van de thermo-/hygrometer. Als u
meer dan één sensor gebruikt, selecteer dan per sensor een ander
kanaal.
2. Verwijder de batterijen uit de thermo-/hygrometer, wacht 30 seconden
en plaats de batterijen terug in de thermo-/hygrometer.
3. De thermo-/hygrometer zal automatisch zoeken en koppeling maken
met de sensoren.
De thermo-/hygrometer is in zoekmodus.
4. Als u meer dan één sensor gebruikt, schakelt de thermo-/hygrometer
automatisch tussen alle gekoppelde sensoren. Druk op geen enkele
knop zolang de zoekmodus geactiveerd is.
8.2 Controle
Controleer of de gemeten binnen- en buitenwaarden op de thermo-
/hygrometer en de sensoren minder dan 10 % afwijken. Wacht 30 minuten
tot de thermo-/hygrometer en de sensoren zich gestabiliseerd hebben.
Als de waarden te veel afwijken, ga over tot de kalibratie van de toestellen.
8.3 Kalibreren
Kalibreren is alleen zinvol als u de waarden kunt vergelijken met een
gekende gekalibreerde bron.
Vochtigheidskalibratie
1. Druk op CHANNEL om de sensor te selecteren die u wilt kalibreren.
2. Houd ADJUST en MIN/MAX gedurende 5 seconden ingedrukt. De
vochtigheidswaarde knippert.

3. Verhoog of verlaag de waarde met CHANNEL of MIN/MAX.
4. Druk eenmaal op ADJUST om naar de beginwaarde terug te keren.
Houd ADJUST ingedrukt om de kalibratiefunctie te verlaten.
Temperatuurkalibratie
1. Druk op CHANNEL om de sensor te selecteren die u wilt kalibreren.
2. Houd ADJUST gedurende 5 seconden ingedrukt. De
temperatuurwaarde knippert.
3. Verhoog of verlaag de waarde met CHANNEL of MIN/MAX.
4. Druk eenmaal op ADJUST om naar de beginwaarde terug te keren.
Houd ADJUST ingedrukt om de kalibratiefunctie te verlaten.

9.2 Weergave weersverwachting
De thermo-/hygrometer detecteert snelle veranderingen in temperatuur en
vochtigheid. Op basis van die veranderingen voorspelt de thermo-
/hygrometer het weer voor de komende uren.

9.3 Binnen- en buitenweergave
Druk op CHANNEL om te schakelen tussen de thermo-/hygrometer of de
sensor.

9.4 De temperatuureenheid selecteren
De standaardtemperatuur wordt weergegeven in graden Celsius. Om tussen
de eenheden te schakelen, houd MIN/MAX gedurende 3 seconden ingedrukt.
9.5 Min/Max-modus
Deze modus geeft de geregistreerde min. en max. temperatuur en
vochtigheid weer.
1. Selecteer de sensor met CHANNEL.
2. Druk op MIN/MAX om te schakelen tussen de normale weergave en de
weergave van de minimum- en de maximumwaarden.
10. Richtlijnen voor draadloze toestellen
Draadloze verbinding is gevoelig voor storingen, afstand, muren en metalen
barrières.
Elektromagnetische Interferentie (EMI)
Houd de thermo-/hygrometer uit de buurt van monitors, computers,
enz.
Radiofrequentie Interferentie (RFI)
Houd de thermo-/hygrometer uit de buurt van andere toestellen met
de frequentie 433 MHz.
Zichtlijn
De thermo-/hygrometer heeft een bereik van 100 m (zonder
obstakels). Met obstakels is het bereik ongeveer 30 m.
Metalen barrières
Radiogolven kunnen niet door metaal (bijv. aluminium). Houd
rekening met alle metalen barrières bij de installatie van de
sensoren.

11. Probleemoplossing
De thermo-/hygrometer geeft geen waarde weer.
•Het signaal is kwijt of niet gevonden. Koppel de thermo-
/hygrometer met de sensoren.
•Het signaal kan de thermo-/hygrometer niet bereiken. Verwijder
alle obstakels tussen de toestellen of verklein de afstand.
•De batterijen zijn bijna leeg. Vervang de batterijen in de
thermo-/hygrometer en/of de sensoren.
De binnen- en buitentemperaturen komen niet overeen.
•De thermo-/hygrometer en/of de sensoren hebben zich nog niet
gestabiliseerd. Wacht 30 minuten tot de toestellen de
dataoverdracht geoptimaliseerd hebben.
•De thermo-/hygrometer is niet gekalibreerd. Zie 8.3 Kalibreren.
12. Reiniging en onderhoud
Het toestel vereist geen bijzonder onderhoud. Maak af en toe proper met
een vochtige doek, om er als nieuw te laten uitzien. Gebruik geen bijtende
chemische producten, reinigingsmiddelen of sterke detergenten.

6. Piles
Ouvrir le compartiment à piles du capteur et le thermo-/hygromètre.
Avant d'installer les piles, attribuer un canal à chaque appareil et choisir
l'unité de température avec les interrupteurs DIP. Installer les piles AAA en
respectant la polarité indiquée.
C'est la seule façon d'installer les piles dans le thermo-/hygromètre en
respectant la polarité indiquée.
Fermer les compartiments à piles.
