Before the operation, please read the operation manual carefully to know
the equipment and the correct method of use. Please keep it for future
reference.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
1.Before installation, please check the grid for the Level II 240 v ~ + / - 10%
(60 Hz) ". Otherwise unable to use it.
2.Detection of the charging device has the function of user network circuit
load capacity; When the electric grid circuit of the user cannot bear the
charging power of the charging device, the device will automatically reduce
the charging power and then charge the electric vehicle. This function can
solve the problem of frequent tripping caused by the user's grid voltage
instability, circuit aging, and other problems; At the same time, it can
reduce the safety problems caused by the user's circuit problems. If the
charging power is reduced in use, it is a normal phenomenon.
3.This equipment has overvoltage, and under-voltage protection; It also
has an overload protection function. After the device automatically adjusts
the charging power, the device will automatically shut down the charging
and stop use if the user's grid voltage is still abnormal.
4.Install the equipment. The total input of the front-end must be installed
circuit breakers.
5.Do not use flammable, explosive, or combustible materials, chemicals,
combustible gas and other dangerous goods near the charging pile.
6.Keep dry and clean on the charging point. If there is any dirt, please use
a clean, dry cloth to wipe it. It is forbidden to touch the point pin.

7.Hybrid car, please recharge again after flameout. In the process of
charging, vehicle driving is prohibited.
8.Children do not get close to the process of charging so as not to cause
harm.
9.In case of rain, thunder, or weather, be a cautious charge, please.
10.It is strictly prohibited that the charging cable breaks, wear and tear,
charging cable nudity, charging pile has obviously been knocked down,
damaged, etc. If the charging post is used, please stay away from the
charging post immediately and contact the staff.
11.If there is a fire in the process of charging electric shock and other
abnormal situation occurs, immediately press the stop button to ensure
personal safety.
12. Please do not try to remove, maintain, or modify the charging pile.
Improper use may cause damage, leakage, and so on and so forth.
PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
1.0 Product Introduction
EV-A01-US series AC charging pile is designed for the pain points of the
charging pile industry. It has the characteristics of convenient installation
and debugging, simple operation and maintenance, accurate
measurement, perfect protection function, etc., with good compatibility, and
meets the charging requirements of the SAE J1772 standard.
EV-A01-US series AC pile protection grade IP66, with good dust-proof,
waterproof functions, can be safe indoor and outdoor operation.

2.0Touch screen Charging Instructions (EV-A01-US011A/EV-A01-US011B
only)
2.1 After powering on the device, the device enters the standby state. The
standby screen is shown as follows:

2.4 Enter the six-digit password on the keyboard (factory password is
123456) and press ok to enter the confirmation interface:
2.5 Click the icon enter the main interface of function setting, as
shown below:

2.6 Function Setting Description:
Current setting: Click to set the charging current (the maximum
current is 48A, the overlimit setting is invalid)
Reservation function: Click to enter, you can set the reservation
charging time; The reservation time is between 0 and 12 hours. Set
(integer), automatically start charging after reaching the set time.
Password charging: You can directly start charging or end
charging by clicking on it.
Charging mode setting: Click to enter to modify the charging
mode: plug and charge or RFID card charging
Modify device password: Click to enter to change the password of entering
the main interface of device function setting;
Charging status interface: Click to enter to view the current
charging status.
Note: Before setting the function, the charging gun of the device cannot be
inserted into the charging port of the EV vehicle. After setting the function,
the charging gun can be inserted into the charging port of the EV vehicle
for charging use.

2.7 Setting of charging current
a. Click the icon in the main interface of function setting to enter
charging current setting:

reduce the charging current:

c. Minimum current 8A, maximum current 48A, step 8A; After selecting the
appropriate current, click the icon .If the charging current is
successfully set, enter the setting success interface:
d. Click back to the main screen of function Settings .
2.8 Setting the charging Schedule
a. Click the icon in the main interface of function setting to enter
the setting of reservation charging function, as shown in the picture:
b. Click to increase the reservation time and click to decrease
the reservation time. You can choose between 0 and 12H.

c. After selecting the appropriate charging time, click the icon to
enter the countdown interface:
After the appointment time, it will automatically enter the charging state.
2.9 Password Charging Settings.
a. Click the icon in the function setting interface to enter the
password charging start/Stop interface:
b. Click the icon , and the device will recognize whether the

communication with the EV vehicle is normal. If the communication is
normal, the device will start charging and enter the charging state display
interface:
c. If the communication is abnormal, the device automatically returns to the
standby screen after 60 seconds.
d. During password charging, if you want to end charging, click the
icon in the charging interface to return to the standby interface:
e. Click Re-enter the main interface of function setting:
f. Click to enter the interface of charging start and stop function:

g. Tap the icon to disable charging. The charged information
screen is displayed, showing the charging duration and the charged power.
h. Click the icon again to return to the main screen of function setting
2.10 Setting Charging Mode.

a. Tap the icon on the main screen of function setting to enter
the screen of charging mode selection;
b. Click the icon to enter the plug and charge function (plug the
gun to charge, draw the gun to stop charging); At this point, the device
enters the state of plugging in the gun and charging while drawing the gun
stops charging. The RFID card charging function is turned off.
c. Tap the icon again to return to the main screen of function setting.
d. Click the icon on the charging mode selection interface to enter the
RFID card charging mode. At this time, you can use the RFID card to turn
on or off the charging at the device card swiping place; Plug and charge
function turned off, click again to return to the main screen of
function Settings.

2.11 Device Password Change Settings.
a. On the function setting main screen, tap the icon to enter the
password change screen.
b. Tap and enter a new six-digit password
c. Tap and enter the six-digit password
d. Click OK. The password is changed successfully.

e. Tap the icon again to return to the main screen of function setting.
2.12 Charging Status Display interface
a. On the main screen of function setting, tap the icon to enter the
charging status display screen; Display real-time charging
voltage/current/power/quantity. (voltageA/voltageB/voltageC with
CurrentA/CurrentB/CurrentC, for three-phase power value, when the
single-phase power supply only voltageA and CurrentA numerical display)
b. Tap again to return to the standby screen.

MOBILE PHONE APP CHARGING OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
3.0 APP download and binding use
a. To download the smart APP, enter the following address in the mobile
browser:
https://developer.tuya.com/cn/docs/iot/tuya-smart-app-smart-life-app-

Click the website and follow the prompts to install.
b. Qr code download:
Open the mobile browser or other social software, scan the QR code, and
follow the APP according to the prompts.
3.1 Binding and Using Devices
a. Open the installed APP, click Agree privacy Statement, you can register
with your mobile phone number, social software binding registration, and
log in to the APP after a successful registration.
b. Open the Location, Bluetooth, and Wifi of the mobile phone. If the
charging device is in standby state, the APP will automatically search for
the charging device and the device name will be displayed.

c. Click Add to add the device, enter the WIFI pairing interface,
automatically identify the WIFI name of the phone.Click Next, and the
device will be automatically bound. After the binding is successful, a
message will be displayed indicating that the device has been successfully
added. Finally, click the icon of "Finish" and wait about 5 seconds for the
device to be bound.
d. You can also click "+" in the upper right corner of the APP to manually
add the device, select the category of "Energy saving" in the left column,
pull up the device type, find the device "Car charging pile (Bluetooth
+WIFI)", click to enter, and then click "Confirm indicator flashing" and "Fast
flashing" as prompted. Enter the WIFI password (WIFI password
connected to the mobile phone) and click Next to match the password, and
always set the bound device as prompted. After binding the device, charge
it according to the APP interface.
Note: The APP can set charging current, reserve charging time and other
functions; You can also query the real-time charging status. APP controls
the charging function, which is not limited by the charging mode of the
device.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGING DISPLAY
4.0 Instructions for Charging Devices without Touch display
(EV-A01-US009A/EV-A01-US009B Without touch display, no plug and
charge function).
4.1 Charging state The LED with three different colors is used as the
charging state indicator. After power-on, the RFID card can be swiped to
charge or stop charging. You can also use the mobile phone APP for
charging operations.
Note: 1. The RFID card randomly equipped can only open the pile for
charging.
2. Please contact after-sales staff to deal with the loss of RFID card.
