1. Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung des Produktes
bzw. dessen Einbau diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerk-
sam durch. Bewahren Sie diese auf, sie ist Teil des Pro-
duktes.
Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Aufgrund der detaillierten Abbildung des Originals bzw.
der vorgesehenen Verwendung kann das Produkt
Spitzen, Kanten und abbruchgefährdete Teile aufwei-
sen. Für die Montage sind Werkzeuge nötig.
Stromschlaggefahr!
Die Anschlussdrähte niemals in eine Steckdose
einführen! Verwendetes Versorgungsgerät (Transfor-
mator, Netzteil) regelmäßig auf Schäden überprüfen.
Bei Schäden am Versorgungsgerät dieses keinesfalls
benutzen!
Alle Anschluss- und Montagearbeiten nur bei abge-
schalteter Betriebsspannung durchführen!
Ausschließlich nach VDE/EN-gefertigte
Modellbahntransformatoren verwenden!
Stromquellen unbedingt so absichern, dass es bei
einem Kurzschluss nicht zum Kabelbrand kommen
kann.
Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Einbau in Modelleisenbahnanlagen und
Dioramen.
- Zum Anschluss an einen Modellbahntransformator
(z. B. Art.-Nr. 5200) bzw. an einer Modellbahnsteue-
rung mit zugelassener Betriebsspannung.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als nicht
bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultierende Schäden
haftet der Hersteller nicht.
Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit:

2. Einleitung
Das Wartesignal Ra11 ist neben dem Gleissperrsignal
das wichtigste Formsignal bei den Rangiersignalen. Das
Signal wird mit der Anstrahlleuchte in der Dunkelheit
kenntlich gemacht.
Die beiden weißen Signallampen leuchten nur als
Fahrtauftrag (Sh1) für die vor dem Signal stehende
Rangiereinheit und sind ansonsten dunkel! Daher sollte
dieses Signal mit einem Schalter (z. B. Art.-Nr. 5550) mit
gleichzeitiger Steuerung des Fahrstromes angeschlossen
werden. Die Steuerung über Relais (z. B. Art.-Nr. 5552)
ist ebenfalls möglich.

Due to the detailed reproduction of the original and the
intended use, this product can have peaks, edges and
breakable parts. For installation tools are required.

Never put the connecting cables into a power socket!
Regularly examine the transformer for damage. In
case of any damage, do not use the transformer!
Make sure that the power supply is switched off when
you mount the device and connect the cables!
Only use VDE/EN tested special model train trans-
formers for the power supply!
The power sources must be protected to prevent the
risk of burning cables.
Using the product for its correct
purpose
This product is intended:
- For installation in model railroad layouts and
dioramas.
- For connection to an authorized model
railroad transformer (e. g. item-No. 5200).
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not ap-
proved and is considered incorrect. The manufacturer
is not responsible for any damage resulting from the
improper use of this product.

2. Introduction
The wait signal Ra11 is one of the most important shunt-
ing signals. The signal is illuminated by a white LED, so
that it can be seen easily by night.
The white signal LEDs show the order proceed (Sh1) for
the shunting unit in front of the signal. If the yellow lights
are off, the signal means wait / stop shunting (Sh0). It
is recommended, to use a switchboard (e. g. item-No.
5550), a switching decoder (e. g. item-No. 5209) or a
relay (e. g. item-No. 5552) to control the signal and to
switch on or off the track power.

Steht das Wartesignal in Kombination mit einem Haupt-
signal, sollte die Steuerung des Fahrstromes für die
Rangierfahrt zusätzlich zur Zugbeeinussung des Hauptsi-
gnals erfolgen und diese aufheben, da für die Rangier-
abteilung das “Halt”-zeigende Hauptsignal nicht gilt und
umgekehrt für die Zugfahrt das Wartesignal nicht leuchtet!
Vorsicht:
Widerstand und Diode an den Enden der Anschluss-
drähte sind für die Funktion erforderlich. Keinesfalls
entfernen! Widerstände nicht mit Isolationsmaterial
umhüllen, da sonst keine ausreichende Kühlung
möglich ist!
3. Montage
1. Bohren Sie an der Montagestelle ein Loch.
Durchmesser: 6 mm.
2. Führen Sie das Anschlusskabel von oben durch das
Montageloch und stecken Sie dann das Signal mit
dem Patentsteckfuß hinein.
Das Signal muss nun fest sitzen, lässt sich aber bei
Bedarf leicht herausziehen und demontieren.
4. Anschluss
Anschluss gemäß Abb. 1.
If the wait signal is combined with a main signal, it is only
valid for shunting units, while regular trains follow the
main signal.
Caution:
Resistor and diode at the cables are needed for proper
function of the lamp. Never cut them off! Never cover
resistor or diode with insulation material, because they
have to be cooled by surrounding air!
3. Mounting
1. Drill a hole at the mounting place.
Diameter: 6 mm.
2. Insert the connection wires into the hole from top.
Then put the signal with the patented base socket
into the hole.
The signal has to set tight on its position but you can
unmount it easily.
4. Connection
Connect the signal, switchboard and control modules as
shown in g. 1. The switch can be replaced by a digital
switching decoder.

5. Gewährleistung
Jedes Modell wird vor seiner Auslieferung auf vollstän-
dige Funktion überprüft. Der Gewährleistungszeitraum
beträgt 2 Jahre ab Kaufdatum.
Tritt in dieser Zeit ein Fehler auf, setzen Sie sich bitte
direkt mit Viessmann in Verbindung. Wird nach Überprü-
fung des Modells ein Herstell- oder Materialfehler festge-
stellt, wird das Modell kostenlos instand gesetzt.
Von der Gewährleistung und Haftung ausgeschlossen
sind Beschädigungen des Modells sowie Folgeschäden,
die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Nichtbeachten
der Bedienungsanleitung, nicht bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch, Überlastung, unzulässig hohen Umschaltim-
puls von analogen Wechselstromanlagen, fehlerhafte
Verdrahtung der Modellbahnanlage, eigenmächtigen Ein-
griff, bauliche Veränderungen, Gewalteinwirkung, Feuch-
tigkeitseinwirkung, Überhitzung u. ä. verursacht werden.

Senden Sie das Modell zur Kontrolle bzw. Reparatur

5. Warranty
Each model is tested to its full functionality prior to deliv-
ery. The warranty period is 2 years starting from the date
of purchase. Please contact Viessmann directly should a
fault occur during this period. If we nd a material or pro-
duction fault to be the cause of the failure we will repair
the model free of charge.
Expressively excluded from any warranty claims and
liability are damages of the model and consequential
damages due to inappropriate handling, disregarding the
instructions of this manual, inappropriate use of the mod-
el, overloading, inadmissible high change-of-direction
impulse of analogue AC control equipment, faulty wiring
of your model train layout, unauthorized disassembling,
construction modications and use of force, overheating,
exposure to humidity and similar.

If needed send the model to the Viessmann service
department for checking and repair.
