1. Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor der ersten Anwendung des
Produktes bzw. dessen Einbau diese Bedienungs-
anleitung aufmerksam durch. Bewahren Sie diese
auf, sie ist Teil des Produktes.
1.1 Sicherheitshinweise
Vorsicht:
Verletzungsgefahr!
Aufgrund der detaillierten Abbildung des Origi-
nals bzw. der vorgesehenen Verwendung kann
das Produkt Spitzen, Kanten und abbruchge-
fährdete Teile aufweisen. Für die Montage sind
Werkzeuge nötig.
Stromschlaggefahr!
Die Anschlussdrähte niemals in eine Steck-
dose einführen! Verwendetes Versorgungs-
gerät (Transformator, Netzteil) regelmäßig
auf Schäden überprüfen. Bei Schäden am
Versorgungsgerät dieses keinesfalls benutzen!
Alle Anschluss- und Montagearbeiten nur bei
abgeschalteter Betriebsspannung durchfüh-
ren!
Ausschließlich nach VDE/EN gefertigte
Modellbahntransformatoren verwenden!
Stromquellen unbedingt so absichern, dass es
bei einem Kurzschluss nicht zum Kabelbrand
kommen kann.
1.2 Das Produkt richtig verwenden
Dieses Produkt ist bestimmt:
- Zum Einbau H0 Modelleisenbahn-Fahrzeuge.
- Zum Anschluss an einen Modellbahntrans-
formator (z. B. Art. 5200) bzw. an eine
Modellbahnsteuerung mit zugelassener
Betriebsspannung.
- Zum Betrieb in trockenen Räumen.
Jeder darüber hinausgehende Gebrauch gilt als
nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für daraus resultieren-
de Schäden haftet der Hersteller nicht.
1.3 Packungsinhalt überprüfen
Kontrollieren Sie den Lieferumfang auf Vollstän-
digkeit:
- 2 Stromführende Kupplungen mit Anschlusskabeln
- Anleitung

1.1 Safety instructions
Caution:
Risk of injury!
Due to the detailed reproduction of the original
and the intended use, this product can have
peaks, edges and breakable parts. Tools are
required for installation.
Electrical hazard!
Never put the connecting wires into a power
socket! Regularly examine the transformer for
damage. In case of any damage, do not use
the transformer.
Make sure that the power supply is switched
off when you mount the device and connect
the cables!
Only use VDE/EN tested special model train
transformers for the power supply!
The power sources must be protected to avoid
the risk of burning cables.
1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose
This product is intended:
- For installation in model train cars.
- For connection to an authorized model train
transformer (e. g. item 5200) or a digital
command station.
- For operation in dry rooms only.
Using the product for any other purpose is not
approved and is considered inappropriate. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any damage
resulting from the improper use of this product.
1.3 Checking the package contents
Check the contents of the package for complete-
ness:
- 2 conducting couplers with connection cables

2. Einleitung
Die 4-poligen stromübertragenden Kupplungen,
Art. 5071 sind für den Einbau in Modellbahn-Fahr-
zeuge der Baugröße H0 mit Aufnahmeschacht
nach NEM 362 vorgesehen. In jeder Kupplung
sind vier leitende Kontaktflächen integriert, über
die die Stromübertragung erfolgt.
Achtung: Je Anschlussdraht beträgt der maximal
durchleitbare Strom 500 mA.
3. Einbau
Die Steckkupplung ist für den Einbau in Fahrzeu-
ge mit genormtem Kupplungsschacht nach NEM
362 vorgesehen.
1. Tauschen Sie die vorhandene Kupplung
gegen die neue Kupplung, Art. 5071 aus.
2. Führen Sie die Anschlusskabel in den Wagen
(Eventuell passendes Loch in den Wagen-
boden bohren).
Beachten Sie: Die Beweglichkeit der Drehgestel-
le darf durch das Anschlusskabel nicht behindert
werden!
4. Anschluss
1. Schließen Sie den gewünschten Verbraucher
an (z. B. Waggon-Innenbeleuchtung, s. Abb. 1).
Beachten Sie dabei die Angaben des Herstel-
lers des jeweiligen Verbrauchers.
Beachten Sie: Es dürfen max. 500 mA Strom
je Anschlussdraht durch die Kupplung geführt
werden. Bei mehreren Verbrauchern addieren Sie
die Einzelverbräuche. Die Summe darf 500 mA
nicht überschreiten!

2. Introduction
These conducting couplers, item 5071 with 4
poles are designed to be mounted into H0 model
train cars with a pocket as per NEM 362. There
are four small interfaces integrated into the cou-
plers that make contact and transmit current from
one vehicle to the next.
Attention: The couplers can carry a maximum
current of 500 mA per contact.
3. Mounting
These couplers are designed for cars and loco-
motives with standardised coupler pockets as
per NEM 362.
1. Exchange the existing couplers against the
electric ones, item 5071.
2. Insert the cables into the model train car.
Attention: Pay attention to the fact that the
bogies have to move freely and must not be
touched by the cables!
4. Connection
1. Connect the load (e. g. interior lighting set as
per fig. 1). Please also refer to the instructions
of the supplier of the respective load.
Please note: The couplers can carry a maximum
current of 500 mA per contact. If several loads
are powered from one source you have to add
the current draw of all loads.
