How to make the HDMI Daisy-Chain Setting

• There are two ways to set up the daisy-chained video wall.
1. Use the IR remote controller
2. Use the Serial Control Program

q-o Connecon order of monitors Cable Type HDMI Cable
1. Physical Connecons
Special note: Use the short HDMI cables (less than 6feet) for the daisy-chain connecon. For 4K video, use the
18Gbps 4K graded HDMI cables.
In accordance with the following gure, please connect the cables.
qConnect the Video source at the HDMI IN of 1st monitor.
Using IR Remote Controller
SETUP DAISY CHAIN
wConnect the HDMI cable at HDMI OUT of 1st monitor and HDMI IN of 2nd monitor. And connect 2nd and 3rd
monitors repeatedly unl the last of monitor.
eConnect the IR Receiver at the RJ45 IN of 1st monitor.
rConnect the CAT5/6 cable at RJ45 Out of 1st monitor and RJ45 IN of 2nd monitor. And connect 2nd and 3rd
monitors repeatedly unl the last of monitor.

Using IR Remote Controller
SETUP DAISY CHAIN
2. Power on and ID Seng
qPower on the video source and the video wall monitors.
wPress SOURCE on the IR Remote Controller (be sure to display input source on all of monitors) and select HDMI.
e Disconnect all CAT5/6 cables aer rst monitor to set the ID of 1st monitor.
rPress ID on the IR Remote Controller to display the following window.
t Move cursor to Generate ID and select it to display the Idener AAA - BBB.
AAA is Idener 1 and BBB is Idener 2.
yMove cursor to the box of Idener 1 and enter the 3 digit number - Ex. 238 (see below picture)
uMove cursor to the box of Idener 2 and enter the 3 digit number - Ex. 54 (see below picture)
iMove cursor to the box of H_Addr and enter a number of 1.
oMove cursor to the box of V_Addr and enter a number of 1.
aMove cursor to Applicaons and then press ENTER buon on the IR Remote Controller.

Aer the process of '2-qto 2-a', disconnect IR Remote Cable from the 1st monitor and connect it to RJ45 IN of 2nd
monitor. Repeat above steps ( 2-rto 2-a ) unl you nish the ID seng of all monitors.
H_Addr and V_Addr should refer to the following numbers

3. Video Wall Seng
qConnect the IR Receiver at the RJ45 IN of 1st monitor.
wConnect the CAT5/6 cable at RJ45 OUT of 1st monitor and RJ45 IN of 2nd monitor. And connect 2nd and 3rd
monitors repeatedly unl the last of monitor.
ePress MENU on the IR Remote Controller.
rMove Cursor to Video Wall Set and select to display the following menu.
tMove Cursor to Video Wall Set and press ENTER to nish the Daisy-Chained Video Wall Seng.

1. Physical Connecons
Special note: Use the short HDMI cables (less than 6 ) for the daisy-chain connecon. For 4K video, use the
18G-bps 4K graded HDMI cables. Before making connecon, be sure to install the Serial Control Program in your
PC and prepare a proper serial cable with the RJ45 connector for the monitor.
In accordance with the following gure, please connect the cables.
qConnect the Video source at the HDMI IN of 1st monitor.
wConnect the HDMI cable at HDMI OUT of 1st monitor and HDMI IN of 2nd monitor. And connect 2nd and 3rd
monitors repeatedly unl the last of monitor.
eConnect the IR Receiver at the RJ45 IN of 1st monitor.
rConnect the CAT5/6 cable at RJ45 OUT of 1st monitor and RJ45 IN of 2nd monitor. And connect 2nd and 3rd
monitors repeatedly unl the last of monitor.
Using Serial Control Program
SETUP DAISY CHAIN
• Before the setup of daisy-chain, user needs to conrm the connecon between the computer (which has Screen-
Control program) and monitors

Using Serial Control Program
SETUP DAISY CHAIN
2. Power and ID Seng
qPower on the video source and the video wall monitors.
wPress SOURCE on the IR Remote Controller (be sure to display input source on all of monitors) and select HDMI.
eDisconnect the IR Receiver and connect the Serial Control Cable at the RJ45 IN of 1st monitor.
3. Video Wall Seng
qDisconnect a Serial Control Cable and connect the IR Receiver at the RJ45 IN of 1st monitor.
wConnect the CAT5/6 cable at RJ45 OUT of 1st monitor and RJ45 IN of 2nd monitor. And connect 2nd and 3rd
monitors repeatedly unl the last of monitor.
ePress MENU on the IR Remote Controller.
rMove Cursor to Video Wall Set and select to display the following menu.
tMove Cursor to Video Wall Set and press ENTER to nish the Daisy-Chained Video Wall Seng.
