Ko je svetilka vklopljena, morate upoštevati spodnja opozorila:
•Ne glejte neposredno v vir svetlobe.
•Ne usmerjajte svetilke v oči drugih oseb ali živali.
•Ne usmerjajte svetilke v: avtomobile, motorje, letala, čolne, ladje ali druga
vozila. Močna svetloba je zaslepljujoča in lahko povzroči nevarnost nesreč.
•Z akumulatorsko svetilko ne delajte v okolju, kjer je nevarnost eksplozije.
•Glavo svetilke ne smete prekriti, medtem ko je akumulatorska svetilka
vklopljena.
•Snemite akumulatorsko baterijo iz akumulatorske svetilke pred vsemi opravili,
ki jih opravljate na akumulatorski svetilki - npr. montaža, vzdrževanje ipd., ter
pri transportu in shranjevanju.
•Otrokom ne dovolite, da bi uporabljali akumulatorsko svetilko. Otroci bi lahko
nenamerno zaslepili sebe ali pa druge osebe.

Varnost akumulatorjev
OPOZORILO! Litij-ionski akumulatorji, ki jih ne uporabljate, polnite ali
shranjujete v skladu z navodili, lahko povzročijo nevarnost požara, opeklin ali
eksplozije.
•Shranjujte izven dosega otrok.
•Villager litij-ionske akumulatorje polnite SAMO s polnilniki, ki so predpisani za
polnjenje teh akumulatorjev.
•Uporabljajte SAMO Vilager litij-ionske akumulatorje, ki so predpisani za to
napravo.
•Po polnjenju ali zahtevnem delu počakajte vsaj 15 minut, da se akumulator
ohladi. Neupoštevanje teh navodil lahko povzroči nevarnost pregrevanja ali
požara.
•Ko akumulatorjev ne uporabljate, jih shranjujte pri sobni temperaturi (okoli
20°C).
•Ko akumulatorja ne uporabljate, ga shranjujte stran od ostalih kovinskih
predmetov, kot so sponke, kovanci, ključi, žeblji, vijaki ali drugi manjši kovinski
predmeti, ki lahko povzročijo kratek stik akumulatorja. Kratek stik lahko
povzroči nevarnost opeklin ali požara.
•Zloraba akumulatorja lahko povzroči iztekanje tekočine. Izogibajte se stiku s to
tekočino. Če po nesreči pridete v stik s tekočino, območje stika takoj sperite z
vodo. Če tekočina pride v stik z očmi, obiščite zdravnika. Razlita tekočina lahko
povzroči draženje ali opekline.
•NE odpirajte, razstavljajte poškodujte ali segrevajte akumulatorja nad 60°C in ga
ne sežigajte.

Namen uporabe
Akumulatorska svetilka je primerna za prenosno, prostorsko in časovno omejeno
osvetljevanje suhih notranjih in zunanjih območjih in ni primerna za splošno
razsvetljavo prostorov.

Odpiranje embalaže
•Pazljivo odprite embalažo in odstranite napravo iz embalaže. Seznanite se s
pravilnim delovanjem in načini uporabe.
•Preverite, če so vsi deli priloženi in nepoškodovani.
Delovanje
Opomba: Za navodila o akumulatorjih in polnilnikih za akumulatorje iz serije
Villager 18V si preberite ločena navodila, ki so priložena polnilnikom ali
akumulatorje.
Pomembno: Villager 18V litij-ionske akumulatorje (niso priloženi) lahko polnite
samo z Villager 18V polnilniki (niso priloženi).
Namestitev akumulatorja
•Napolnjen akumulator namestite na nosilec na napravi, dokler se ne zaskoči –
zasliši se „klik“.
OPOMBA: Akumulator in nosilec na svetilki morata biti poravnana. Če akumulatorja
ne morete namestiti, ga ne nameščajte na silo. Odstranite akumulator z nosilca in
preglejte priključke na nosilcu in akumulatorju ter jih po potrebi očistite.
Odstranitev akumulatorja
•Pritisnite gumb na akumulatorju in akumulator odstranite.
OPOZORILO: NE odstranjujte akumulatorja na silo brez pritiskanja gumba, saj lahko
povzročite poškodbe akumulatorja ali naprave!
Uporaba
•Svetilko vklopite ali izklopite s pritiskom na stikalo za vklop/izklop (4).
•Nastavite smer odsevnika (1) z vrtenjem glave okoli mehanizma (2). Glavo lahko
zavrtite v območju od 0 do 270° in jo zataknete na 6 položajih.
•Z naklonskim mehanizmom nastavite naklon (3). Naklon lahko nastavite v
območju od 0 do 180° in glavo pritrdite na 6 položajih.
Opomba: Pazite, da svetilke med nastavljanjem ne poškodujete.
•Delovna svetilka ima kljuko za obešanje (slika B). Kljuko enostavno povlečete
navzgor.

Vzdrževanje
•Naprava ne vsebuje delov, ki jih mora uporabnik vzdrževati.
Čiščenje
•Za čiščenje uporabite vlažno krpo.
Shranjevanje
•Napravo in pribor shranjujte v suhem in varnem prostoru izven dosega otrok.
•Ko svetilke ne uporabljate, preklopite glavo, kot je prikazano na sliki A in jo
zaščitite pred poškodbami.
•Območje shranjevanja ne sme biti izpostavljeno neposredni sončni svetlobi.
Odlaganje
Akumulatorje, električne naprave in embalažo po koncu življenjske dobe reciklirajte
ločeno in jih odlagajte v skladu s predpisi.
Po koncu življenjske dobe odstranite akumulator z naprave.
Akumulatorje, električne naprave in embalažo reciklirajte ločeno in jih
odlagajte v skladu s predpisi. Naprave in embalaže ne smete odlagati
med ostale domače odpadke.
Akumulator ima litij-ionske celice. Ne odlagajte odpadnih akumulatorjev
med ostale domače odpadke, ne uničujte jih z ognjem in ne vrzite jih v
vodo. Odpadne akumulatorje reciklirajte v skladu s predpisi.

The device is in compliance with applicable European directives and

Torch Safety
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings
and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
When the torch is switched on, the following must be observed:
•Do not look directly into the lens.
•Do not shine into a person’s eyes or an animal’s eyes.
•Do not point the beam at: cars, motorcycles, aircraft, ships or any other vehicle
or machinery that is operated by a person. Bright light can be blinding and you
could cause a serious accident.
•Do not work with the cordless worklight in hazardous areas.
•Do not cover the lamp head while operating the cordless worklight.
•Before any work on the cordless worklight itself - e.g. assembling, maintenance,
as well as when transporting and storing, remove the battery from the cordless
worklight.
•Do not allow children to use the cordless worklight. Children can unintentionally
blind themselves or other persons.

Battery Safety
WARNING: Li-ion batteries, if incorrectly used, stored or charged, are a fire,
burn and explosion hazard.
•Keep the battery out of reach of children.
•ONLY charge Villager Li-Ion batteries using the charger designed specifically for
the product.
•ONLY use Villager Li-Ion batteries specifically designed to be compatible.
•Allow batteries to cool for 15 minutes after charging or heavy use. Failure to
follow these instructions may cause overheating or fire.
•When not in use batteries should be stored at room temperature
(approximately 20°C).
•Ensure battery contacts cannot accidentally short in storage. Keep batteries
clean; foreign objects or dirt may cause a short. Keep away from other metal
objects, for example paperclips, coins, keys, nails and screws.
•Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery. This liquid
may cause skin irritation or burns. Avoid contact. If contact occurs accidentally,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help.
•DO NOT open, disassemble, crush, heat above 60°C, or incinerate. Do not
dispose of in fire or similar.

Intended Use
The cordless worklight is intended for mobile illumination in limited space and for
limited time in dry indoor and outdoor areas and is not suitable for general room
lighting.
Unpacking Your Tool
•Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all its
features and functions.
•Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition.

Operation
Note: For instructions regarding charging batteries and further information on the
Villager 18V batteries please read the supplied instructions with the Villager 18V
battery charger or batteries.
IMPORTANT: Villager 18V li-Ion batteries (not supplied) must only be charged with
an Villager 18V battery charger (not supplied).
Installing a battery
•Fit a charged battery by sliding it onto the base of the worklight until it clicks
and locks into position.
NOTE: Make sure the battery and worklight are lined up correctly. If the battery
does not slide onto the base of the worklight easily, don’t force it. Instead, slide the
battery out of the worklight and check the top of the battery and the battery slot of
the worklight are clean and undamaged, and that the contacts are not bent.
Removing a battery
•Remove the battery from the worklight by pressing the battery release button
on the battery; then slide the battery off the base of the worklight.
WARNING: DO NOT try to remove the battery without pressing the battery release
button, otherwise the product or battery may be damaged!
Operating the Worklight
•Switch the Torch on or off by pressing the On/Off Switch (4)
•Adjust the Spotlight (1) direction by turning the Spotlight (1) at the Swivel Joint
(2). It adjusts from 0 - 270° with 6 click stop positions.
•Adjust the torch head assembly angle at the Angle Joint (3). It adjusts from 0 -
180° with 6 click stop positions.
Note: Be careful not to damage the worklight when adjusting the angle and swivel
positions.
•The worklight features a built in Hanging Hook (Image B). Push upwards to
release from the tool body.

Maintenance
•This product has no user serviceable or replaceable internal parts.
Cleaning
•Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the worklight body.
Storage
•Store this tool and its accessories after use in a dry, secure place out of the
reach of children.
•Fold the worklight as shown in Image A to protect the worklight when not in
use.
•Do not store in direct sunlight.
Disposal
Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of electronic equipment that
is no longer functional and is not viable for repair.
Take out the battery from the device and dispose of the battery, device,
accessories and packaging material in dedicated locations where they
will be treated and recycled in accordance with environmental
protection standards. The device is not a community waste.
Do not dispose of batteries together with other community waste and
do not throw them into fire (danger of explosion) or water. The
batteries may harm the environment and human health - in case of
leakage of hazardous liquids or vapors.
