THOROUGHLY PRIORTO OPERATINGOR
SERVICINGTHISMACHINE.
GENERALUSE
1. Removeany obstructionsorother
obstaclesin thearea which istobe
cleaned.
2. Placethehandleintheupright
positionandtiltmachinebackuntil
handlerestsonthefloor
*Besurethemachineisnotplugged
intoanoutlet
3. Attach thepadtothemachinebyfirst
unscrewingthemaleendofthe big
mouth”fromtheflexiblepaddriver.
Placetheapprovedpadonthepad
driver, placethemaleendofthe big
mouth”intothecenterholeofthe
pad, andtightenthe bigmouth”
firmlytothepaddriver.
4. Placemachinebackintoitsupright
position.
5. Plug powercordintoagrounded
outlet.
* Neveruseanextensioncordin
conjunctionwiththestandardpowercord.
6. Thehandleheightmaybeadjustedby
liftingupthecompressionhandle
which islocatedontherightsideof
thehandletubeabout1footabove
floorlevel. Releasethecompression
handleandadjusthandletosafe
operatingheight, thenpushback
downonthecompressionhandleto
lockthehandlein operatingposition.
7. Tostart themachine, press thered
safetybuttononthetopoftheupper
switch housing, andthensqueeze
eitheroftheoperatingtriggers. (the
safetybuttonmustbedepressed
priortosqueezingtheoperating
triggers.)
8. Whenthemachineisinoperation,
bothhandsshould beplacedonthe
switch housing(upperhandle).
9. Tostopthemachineatany time,
simplyreleasetheoperatingtrigger(s)
andthemachinewill stop
automatically.
MAINTENANCE
Tokeepthemachineperformingwell for
many years, pleasefollowthefollowing
maintenanceprocedures.
*Alwaysconfirm thatthemachineis
unpluggedpriortoperformingany
maintenanceorrepairs.
1. Unplug machineassoonasyouare
doneusingit.
2. Cleantheoutsideofthemachinewith
amild cleaner.
3. Checkpowercordforany damage. If
damageisdetected, replacepower
cordimmediately.
4. Lubricatewheelswithawater
resistantlubricantonceamonth.
5. Checkmachineforlooseormissing
nutsandbolts, andreplaceas
necessary.
6. Ifthemachineisusedinadusty
environment, youmayremovethe
motorcoverandblowthemotorclean
withcompressedair. Thiswill ensure
properventilation, andallowthe
motortoruncooler.
STORAGE
1. Unplug machinefrom powersource
andwrapcordonhandle.
2. Tiltmachinesothepadisnot
touchingthefloor.
3. Storemachinein uprightpositionand
in adryarea.
