INSTRUCTION TO BE FOLLOWED BEFORE USE :
The work positioning lanyard is to be positioned on adjusted in such a way that the anchorage point is maintained at or waist level, the lanyard is
kept taught & free movement is restricted to a maximum 0.6. m.
It is important to carry out a pre use check of the equipment to ensure that it is in a serviceable condition.
Inspect the harness, and the lanyard for any rupture of webbing, rope, seams, buckles, D-ring etc. Do not use in case of any rupture or
defectiveness.
In case of any doubt arising about the condition of any component or system, replace it immediately. If the harness has arrested a fall, withdraw it
from service & return to manufacture or to a competent repair centre. While using the harness, ensure that there is a minimum clearance of 5 ms.
below the user's feet, to avoid him hitting the ground in case of a fall. Before the use of the harness for the first time, the user should carry out a
suspension test in a safe place to ensure that the harness is the correct size, has sufficient adjustment and is of on acceptable comfort level for the
intended use. Apart from Fall Arrest this harness can be used for specific situation in conjunction with Fall Arrestors where front attachment is
needed.
A rescue plan has to be set up before use, for carrying out a rescue operation in case of emergency.
FITTING & SIZING:
Follow Step 1 to Step 5 to wear the harness. Both leg straps as well as shoulder straps are adjustable to fit the size of the user. A harness either too
loose or too light will restrict movement and will not provide the optimum level of protection. The size of the harness is marked on a label attached to
it and it is universal.
Visually inspect the harness before use to ensure that it is in a serviceable condition and operates correctly.
The maximum rated load on work positioning is 150kg. Material of full Body harness is polyester. Prolonged Suspension can cause injury to the
human body & can cause death in the case of inert suspension of the user .Regular suspension intervals are advised.
