Utilisation conforme aux prescriptions
Le gratteur est conçu pour l’utilisation en chantier et est destiné à la préparation des tubes
avant l’électro soudage par fusion des plastiques.
Plage de service de ref. 575020: d.ext 32, 40, 50, 63, 75, 90,110mm.
Plage de service de ref. 575021 d.ext 110, 125, 140, 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, 315, 355,
400, 450, 500 mm.
Tout autre usage sera réputé utilisation non prévue. Le fabricant ne pourra en aucun cas être
tenu responsable des dommages qui surviendraient suite à l’utilisation non prévue de l’outil, qui
se fait dans tous les cas exclusivement aux risques et périls de l’utilisateur.

Le présent manuel contient des informations importantes permettant d’utiliser l’outil en toute

faire l’objet ne sont acceptables que sous réserve de la confirmation préalable par le fabricant.
Des éléments endommagés de l’outil doivent être remplacés sans délai. Il ne faut utiliser
que des pièces détachées et consommables originaux. Veuillez mentionner la référence de
l’outil lors des commandes

Marquer d’un stylo adapté l’extrémité du manchon sur le tube.
Déverrouiller le levier de blocage (4) et glisser le bloc de course (3) à l’arrière.
Glisser le gratteur dans le tube de toute sa longueur, jusqu’à la traverse frontale (8), et le fixer
sur le tube en serrant, mais non à fond, le manche de serrage (2).
Appuyer sur le verrou à déblocage rapide (11) positionner le bloc de course (3) à l’endroit où
le grattage doit commencer.
Déverrouiller le levier de blocage (4) et pousser le bloc de course/logement (3) de lame sur le
tube de façon à obtenir 3 - 4 mm environ sur le positionneur de hauteur de la lame (10).
Verrouiller le levier de blocage (4) et, d’un mouvement circulaire ininterrompu, faire avancer
le gratteur sur le tube dans le sens signalé par la flèche (sens des aiguilles d’une montre) à
l’aide du manche d’entraînement (1), jusqu’à ce qu’il tourne librement.
En grattant l’extrémité du tube, appuyer sur l’outil afin qu’il ne bascule pas et qu’il reste dans
l’axe du tube.
Déverrouiller le levier de blocage (4), dégager le bloc de course (3), et le gratteur du tube
après avoir desserré le manche de serrage (2).
Soin et ent r e t i en
Remplacer immédiatement les pièces endommagées. Pour la maintenance du produit,
n’utiliser que les pièces originales.
Les interventions de service et de maintenance qui sont de rigueur, doivent être réalisées par
les intervalles indiqués. Il est conseillé que le produit soit révisé au moins une fois par an.
Stocker le produit au sec. Le protéger des vibrations fortes et des chocs. Manipuler le produit
avec soin. Maintenance
Maintenir propres l’arbre de course et les roulements/tiges. Utiliser les lames des 4 côtés. Les
roulements ne demandent pas de maintenance.
Stockage
Quand le gratteur n’est pas en usage, le stocker dans sa boîte de transport prévue à cet effet.
Elimination des déchets
Certaines pièces de l’appareil sont recyclables et peuvent donc faire l’objet d’un traitement de recyclage.
Des entreprises de recyclage agréées et certifiées sont disponibles à cet effet. Renseignez-vous auprès
de votre administration de déchets compétente pour l’élimination non polluante des pièces non
recyclables (par ex. déchets électroniques).

Durée de la garantie
Conformément à nos conditions générales de vente, la période de garantie de votre outil est de 1 an
dans des conditions normales d’utilisation, hors consommables. Une preuve d’achat sera demandée
(facture ou bon de livraison).
Ce qui est couvert par la garantie
La présente garantie couvre tous les défauts de matériaux ou vices de fabrication de votre outil VIRAX.
Dans ce cas, l’outil vous sera retourné sans frais. Votre outil sera réparé ou remplacé à l’identique.
Ce qui n’est pas couvert par la garantie
Les pannes imputables à un mauvais usage, aux abus, à une surcharge, au non respect des instructions
d’utilisation, à une intervention sur la machine d’une personne non agréée par un centre de
réparation Service Après Vente ou à une usure normale ne sont pas couvertes par la présente
garantie.
VIRAX n’assume aucune responsabilité pour les dommages subis par les accessoires ou causés aux
objets ou personnes proches de la machine. Le produit ne doit pas avoir été désassemblé.
Particularité de la présente garantie
La présente garantie est la seule garantie valable sur votre produit VIRAX. Aucun employé, agent,
marchand ou autre personne n’est autorisé à modifier la présente garantie ou à fournir d’autres
garanties au nom de VIRAX.

The Pipe Peeling Tool was developed specifically for worksite use and is intended to prepare pipes for
electrofusion welding .

Any and all other
uses are deemed unintended. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible in any
circumstances for such damage as mayresult from unintended use, which is at the user’s exclusive risk.
Safety instructions
Being aware of the applicable safety messages and safety regulations is the fundamental
precondition for the safe use and the smooth operation of the device.
This manual holds important messages allowing safe operation of the device, and it has to be observed
by all persons working with the device!
Regulations for the Prevention of Accidents have to be respected in all cases.
Operator’s Responsibilities, Measures of Organization: It is under the operator’s responsibility to
ensure that only such persons work with the device: who know the fundamental regulations for
workplace safety and the prevention of accidents, and have been trained to properly use the
device; that have read, understood and signed the safety-related section and the safety messages
in this manual.
The User’s Manual has to be kept at all times at the location where the device is used. It has to be
available and easily accessible to the operator.
Technical Modifications to the Device: hangs, additions, or modifications to the machine are
acceptable only with the manufacturer’s prior confirmation.
Device parts that do not work properly have to be replaced without delay. Only genuine spare parts
and consumables are acceptable.

Operating instructions
Using a suitable pen, mark the fitting edge on the pipe.
Unlock the locking lever (4) and position the travel block (3) to the back.
Push the peeling tool all the way to the head rail (8) onto the pipe and secure it to the pipe by tightening the
clamping handle (2) loosely.
Push down the quick-release (11) and position the travel block (3) where peeling should start.
Unlock the locking lever (4) and push the travel block/blade holder (3) down on the pipe until the blade
height adjuster (10) shows a blade position of approx. 3 - 4mm.
Lock the locking lever (4) and, using the operating handle (1), move the peeling tool swiftly around the pipe
in a circular motion in the direction indicated by the arrow (clockwise), until it turns freely.
While peeling the pipe end, push the peeling tool down on the pipe to prevent it from tilting out of the pipe’s
axis.
Unlock the locking lever (4), put the travel block (3) in its position at the back, and pull the peeling tool from
the pipe after loosening the clamping handle (2).
Care and maintenance
Replace damaged parts immediately. When s ervicing the product, always use genuine spare parts
The obligatory service and maintenance work has to be performed respecting the proper intervals. It is
recommendedthat the product be serviced at leastonce a year.
Storein a dry location. Protect from strong vibrations and
shocks. When using the product, handle with
care.
Maintenance
Keep travel spindle and bearings/shafts clean.
Blade can be used on all 4 edges. Bearings do not require maintenance.
Storage
When the peeling/chamfering tool is not in use, store it in its correspondingtransport box.

Components of the unit are recyclable material and should be put to recycling. For this purpose registered
and certified recycling companies are available. Foran environmental friendly disposal of the non-recyclable
parts (e.g.electronic waste) please contact your local waste disposal authority.

Guarantee
Duration of the guarantee
In accordance with our general terms and conditions of sales, your power tool comes with a 1 year
guarantee provided it is used properly, excluding consumables. A proof of purchase will be required
(invoice or delivery slip).
The guarantee covers the following
This guarantee covers all material faults or manufacturing defects of your VIRAX tool. In this case, the tool
will be returned to you free of charge. Your tool shall be repaired or replaced with an identical tool.
What is not covered by the guarantee
Faults due to improper use, abuse, overload, non compliance with the operating instructions, and
intervention on the machine of a person not approved by an After-sales repair centre or normal wear are
not covered by this guarantee.
VIRAX waives any liability for damage incurred by accessories or caused to objects or persons close to
the machine. The product must not have been disassembled.
Particularity of this guarantee
This guarantee is the only guarantee valid on your VIRAX product. No employee, agent, trader or other
person is authorized to modify this guarantee or provide any such guarantees upon VIRAX

Das Rohrschälgerät, wurde speziell für den Baustelleneinsatz entwickelt, um an Ort und Stelle die Rohre
für das Elektroschweißen vorzubereiten.

G rundvoraussetzung für den sicherheitsgerechten Umgang und den störungsfreien Betrieb des
Geräts ist die Kenntnis der grundlegenden Sicher-heitshinweise und der Sicherheitsvorschriften!
Diese Betriebsanleitung enthält wichtige Hinweise, um die Maschine sicherheitsgerecht zu betreiben und
ist von allen Personen zu beachten, die an der Maschine arbeiten.
Es gelten die Unfallverhütungsvorschriften (UVV).
Verpflichtung des Betreibers, organisatorische Maßnahmen: Der Betreiber verpflichtet sich, nur Personen
an der Maschine arbeiten zu lassen, die mit den grundlegenden Vorschriften über Arbeitssicherheit und
Unfallverhütung vertraut und in die Handhabung der Maschine
eingewiesen sind, sowie das Sicherheitskapitel und die Warnhinweise in dieser Betriebsanleitung
gelesen, verstanden und durch ihre Unterschrift bestätigt haben.
Die Betriebsanleitung ist ständig am Einsatzort der Maschine aufzubewahren. Sie muss für das
Bedienpersonal jederzeit und ohne großen Aufwand einsehbar sein.
Bauliche Veränderungen am Gerät: Ohne Genehmigung des Herstellers dürfen keine
Veränderungen, An- oder Umbauten am Gerät vorgenommen werden. Geräteteile in nicht einwandfreiem
Zustand sind sofort auszutauschen. Nur original Ersatz- und Verschleißteile verwenden. Bei Bestellungen
immer Artikelnummer angeben!

ienung
Einschubtiefe des Fittings (Heizwendelmuffe) mit Marker am Rohr anzeichnen. Klemmhebel (4) öffnen
und Führungsblock (3) ganz zurückfahren.
Schälgerät bis zur Stirnplatte (8) auf das Rohr stecken und mit der Spannschraube (2) mit mäßiger Kraft
fixieren.
Schnellentriegelung (11) drücken und Führungsblock (3) auf gewünschte Schällänge einstellen.
Klemmhebel (4) öffnen und Führungsblock/Messerhalter (3) gegen das Rohr drücken bis der
Messerhub(10) ca. 3 - 4 mm beträgt.
Klemmhebel (4) schließen und Schälgerät mittels Drehgriff (1) zügig in Pfeilrichtung (Uhrzeigersinn!) bis
zum Freilauf um das Rohr drehen.
Während des Schälvorganges muss das Schälgerät gegen das Rohrendstück gedrückt werden, um ein
axiales Verkanten zu verhindern!
Klemmhebel (4) lösen, Führungsblock (3) zurückstellen und Gerät nach Lösen der Spannschraube (2)
wieder abziehen.
Pflege und
War t ung
Beschädigte Teile sofort ersetzen. Bei Instandsetzungsarbeiten nur Original-Ersatzteile verwenden.
Vorgeschriebene Wartungs- und Inspektionsarbeiten sind fristgerecht auszuführen. Empfohlen werden
Inspektionsarbeiten mindestens ein Mal jährlich.
Trocken lagern. Vor starken Erschütterungen und Stößen schützen. Das Gerät ist sorgfältig zu
handhaben.
Wartung
Führungswelle und Lager/Stifte sauber halten und leicht einölen.
Messer sind 4-seitig zu verwenden. Kugellager sind wartungsfrei.
Lagerung
Bei Nichtbenutzung des Rohrschälgerätes dieses in der dafür vorgesehenen Transportkiste lagern.
E n tsorgu ng
Teile des Gerätes sind Wertstoffe und können der Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden. Hierfür stehen
zugelassene und zertifizierte Verwerterbetriebe zur Verfügung. Zur umweltverträglichen Entsorgung der
nicht verwertbaren Teile (z.B.Elektronikschrott) befragen Sie bitte Ihre zuständige Abfallbehörde.

Garantie
Dauer der Garantie
Gemäß unseren Geschäftsbedingungen gilt für Ihr Elektrowerkzeug (ohne Verbrauchsteile) eine 1
Jahrgarantie, vorausgesetzt, dass es richtig benutzt wird. Dabei wird ein Kaufnachweis (Rechnung oder
Lieferschein) benötigt.
Garantieumfang
Die Garantie erstreckt sich auf alle Materialfehler oder Herstellungsfehler Ihres VIRAX-Werkzeugs. In
einem solchen Fall wird Ihnen das Werkzeug kostenfrei zurückgesendet. Ihr Werkzeug wird repariert
oder durch ein baugleiches Werkzeug ersetzt.
Außerhalb des Garantieumfangs
Fehler, die sich aus unsachgemäßer Verwendung, Misshandlung, Überbelastung, Nichteinhaltung der
Bedienungsanweisung, Eingriff einer vom Kundendienst nicht zugelassenen Person oder normaler
Abnutzung ergeben, werden nicht von dieser Garantie abgedeckt.
VIRAX schließt jegliche Verantwortung für Schaden aus, die sich aus Zubehörteilen oder an
Gegenständen oder Personen in der Nähe der Maschine ergeben. Das Produkt darf nicht zerlegt
werden.
Besonderheit dieser Garantie
Diese Garantie ist die einzig gültige Garantie Ihres VIRAX-Produktes. Kein Angestellter, Vertreter,
Händler oder keine andere Person ist befugt, diese Garantie zu ändern oder solche Garantien über
VIRAX anzubieten
