Wi-Fi Operating Instructions
For Your Trimline Fire
Compatible with:
We hope you really enjoy the warmth of your new Vision
Trimline appliance. Please read these instructions carefully
before installing and using your gas fire. Keep these
instructions in a safe place. Always provide the following
information if the gas fire breaks down: model and serial
number, which can be found on the unit. Your purchase
invoice is your proof of warranty. Check the unit immediately
after delivery to confirm that it has not been damaged during
transport. If it is damaged in any way, please inform your
supplier immediately and provide as many details as possible.

INSTALLATION
Installation WiFi system: minimum requirements Wi-Fi router
•Compatible with IEEE 802.11 n/g/b
•WPA2 encryption
•Radio frequency: 2,4 GHz band
•Wireless auto channel: automated search for wireless LAN radio channel free
of interference
•Support for the User Datagram Protocol(UDP) especially on company
networks.
•3 antenna systems for proper reception
Minimum requirements Smart Device:
•IOS 8.0 or Android 4.4
Notices:
•Receiver and remote control are having bi-directional communication. Status
info every 10 sec during first 2 min- afterward every 4 to 6 min up to 1h.
Immediate sync when using remote.
•Multiple users on same channel may interfere with data transfer. Press reset
button on myfire Wi-Fi box for 1 sec to change current channel.
•If Wi-Fi box is not connected to receiver or is not used it will leave the Access
Point(AP) mode after 24 hours.
•Multiple fireplaces using Wi-Fi boxes, minimum distance 60cm to avoid
interference.
•Wi-Fi box allows communication via Home Network by wireless signal. Using
remote control to achieve full functionality such as roomtemp measurement.
•When receiver/wi-fi box overheat(60 degreeC max) fires runs to pilot position.

•Complete installation of the system before starting sync.
•Insert batteries in remote and connect AC mains power to receiver.
•ON/OFF switch on gasvalve to ON position
•Receiver has to learn handset code(random selection of 65k unique codes available):
•Press and hold receiver’s reset button untill you year 2 beeps. After the second
longer beep release reset button
•Within 20 sec press the low flame button on remote, 2 short confirmation beeps can
be heard. “CONN” is displayed on the remote. After succesfull sync the current state
of the gasfire is displayed on the remote control.

Notices
• Receiver and remote control use bi-directional
communication. Status info every 10 seconds during first 2 minutes
- afterwards every 4 to 6 minutes, up to 1 hour. Sync is immediate
when using the remote.
• Multiple users on same channel may interfere with data transfer.
Press reset button on myfire Wi-Fi box for 1 second to change
channel.
• If myfire Wi-Fi box is not connected to receiver or is not used it will leave Access
Point mode after 24 hours.
• Multiple fireplaces using Wi-Fi boxes, minimum distance required is 60cm, to
avoid interference.
• Wi-Fi box allows communication via home network by using wireless signal.
• Remote control allows full functionality such as room temperature measurement.
• When receiver/Wi-Fi box overheats (60ºc MA X) fires run to pilot position.
• Complete installation of the system is required before sync.
• Insert batteries in remote and connect AC mains power to receiver.
• ON/OFF switch on gas valve to ON position
• Receiver has to learn handset code (random selection of 65k unique codes available)
• Press and hold receivers reset button until you hear 2 beeps. After the second longer
beep, release the rest button.
• Within 20 seconds pressthe low flame button on remote, 2 short confirmation beeps
can be heard. "CONN" is displayed on the remote. After successful sync the current
state of the gas fire is displayed on the remote control.

Notice:
•If the Wi-Fi box is not displayed after a
few minutes the box must be reset by
pushing reset button for 20 seconds.
Automatic restart will occur and if the
myfire Wi-Fi box is displayed installation
can be continued.
•Iphone iOS 10.0 or higher: after
selection of the network the message
‘No internet connection’ can be ignored.
Apple IOS - Wi-Fi Settings
In the Apple iOS device Wi-Fi
settings connect your device
to the Myfire Wi-Fi box by
selecting the following
myfire_WIFI Box_<number>
NOTICE:
• If the Wi-Fi box is not
displayed after a few minutes
the box must be reset by
pushing the reset button for
20 seconds. The Wi-Fi box
will automatically restart.
If the Myfire Wi-Fi box
is not displayed, then the
installation can be continued.
• Iphone iOS 10.0 or higher:
After selection of the network
the message 'No internet
connection' can be ignored
Apple IOS - Wi-Fi Settings
In the Apple iOS device Wi-Fi
settings connect your Apple
iOS device to the Myfire Wi-Fi
box by entering the following
password in pop up:

•Return to the myfire app and connect the
Wi-Fi box to your private network/router

device and make sure you connect to
your home netwrok/router

• Select an individual name for
your fire
• Type in name(SSID) of your
Wi-Fi router
• Type in password for your
router
Touch "Connect" button.
• Return to the Myfire app and
connect the Wi-Fi box to
your private network/router

Touch "OK" if correct.
• Go to Wi-Fi settings on
your smart device and make
sure you connect to your
home network/router

Connecting Process
The process of connecting
the Myfire Wi-Fi box to your
Wi-Fi router can take a few
seconds.
When the connection is
established the Myfire Wi-
Fi box leaves the Access
Point Mode (Hot Spot) and
is connected to your Wi-Fi
Router.
Confirm Fireplace Settings
If your fireplace is equipped
with fan, light and AUX
touch the circle to activate the
corresponding function.
When setup is complete,
confirm fireplace settings by
touching "Finish" button.

Once you have installed and set up the Myfire Wi-Fi app, you can control
your Vision Trimline Appliance at the tap of a button. The following section
is a basic guide of how to use the app.

On the Myfire app you can program
and customise up to a maximum of
4 operating profiles, each with their
own programmable settings.

height.
1. Select Manual Mode from the left
sidebar.
2. Touch the colour wheel to decrease
or increase flame height. Blue is
low flame and red is high flame.
For instant adjustment, touch small
flame icon for low fire or large
flame icon for high fire. Touch
standby icon for pilot flame.

The room temperature is measured and then compared to the set temperature.
The flame height automatically adjusts to achieve the set temperature.
1. Select Thermostatic Mode from the left sidebar.
2. Touch the colour wheel to set the temperature. Blue is the lowest temperature
setting and red is the highest.
After touching the colour wheel, the new set temperature is shown in the middle of
the circle for approx. 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, the room temperature is shown
in the middle of the circle. An arrow either above or below the room temperature
indicates the flame height going up or down to reach set temperature.

Each of 8 programs can be set to go ON and OFF at specific times at set
temperatures.
1. Select Program Mode from the left sidebar.
2. Turn ON desired Program (1 – 8) by touching the power button.
3. To change days, times, or ON/OFF temperature, touch the program number.
4. Touch the section of the setting wheel to be changed (time, temp, day).
Change the setting.
5. Confirm your changes by touching the yellow checkmark.
NOTE: To delete a program, touch that program number and go to program
settings. Touch red CLEAR button and then touch the red check mark.

Save energy while enjoying a changing, realistic flame picture.
1. Select Eco Mode from the left sidebar.
2. Choose between low fire, medium fire, and high fire.
3. Choose time button (15 min, 20 min, or 25 min). The percentage of energy saved
is shown in the circle/leaf.
NOTE: A shorter time cycle results in a more active flame picture.

Operate an additional function, e.g. a second burner.
1. Select AUX from the left or right/bottom sidebars. Additional function turns ON.
2. Touch AUX icon again and the additional function turn OFF.

At the end of a preset countdown time, the fire turns off.
1. Select Countdown Timer from the left or right/bottom sidebars.
2. Spin the hour wheel to set hour. Spin the minute wheel to set minutes.
3. Touch power button to start Countdown Timer.
The time remaining is shown on top of screen next to hourglass icon.
4. Touch power button to stop Countdown Timer.
NOTE: Countdown Timer only works in Manual, Thermostatic, and Eco
modes.

Renders smart device inoperable except for the OFF function and information
page.
1. Select Safety Lock from the left sidebar.
A pop-up shows user the Child Safety Lock is ON, and the Safety Lock icon
appears on the lower right quarter of the home screen’s blue temperature circle.
2. To deactivate Child Safety Lock, touch the Child Safety Lock icon in the left menu
and on the lower right quarter of the blue temperature circle simultaneously for 2
seconds.
