Before Using Your Wine cooler
xRemove the exterior and interior packing.
xClean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth. (Cleaning instruction on page 6)
Installing Your Wine cooler
xThis appliance is designed to be free standing only, and should not be recessed or built-in.
xAllow 5 inches of space between the back and sides of the wine cooler, which allows the proper
air ventilation. Adjust the legs to keep the wine cooler level.
xLocate the wine cooler away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.).
Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. If the ambient temperature is higher than 80°F or lower than 55°F it will hinder the
performance of this appliance. This unit is not designed for use in a garage or any other
outside installation.
xAvoid locating the wine cooler in moist areas.
xPlug the wine cooler into dedicated, properly installed-grounded wall outlet. Do not under any
circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any questions
concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified electrician or an
authorized service center. This unit is not designed to be installed in an RV or used with an
inverter.
xAfter plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, allow the unit to cool down for 3 ~ 4 hours under
before placing wine bottles in the wine cooler.

Electrical Connection
This wine cooler should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this wine cooler is
equipped with a three-prong plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the
possibility of electrical shock.
Do not, under any circumstances, cut or remove the third ground prong from the power cord supplied.
This wine cooler requires a standard 100-120 Volt A.C. / 60Hz electrical outlet with three-prong
ground.
This wine cooler is not designed to be used with an inverter.
The cord should be secured behind the wine cooler and not left exposed or dangling to prevent
accidental injury.
Never unplug the wine cooler by pulling the power cord. Always grip the plug firmly and pull straight
out from the receptacle.
Do not use an extension cord with this appliance. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified
electrician or service technician install an outlet near the appliance. Use of an extension cord can
negatively affect the performance of the unit.

OPERATING YOUR WINE COOLER

The lead-time to achieve the pre-set temperature depends on the nature and quantity of the object
placed inside the cavity.
The temperature range can be set as low as 54°F or as high as 66°F to suit your specific storage
requirements. You can adjust the desired temperature by adjusting the temperature adjust knob.
The actual cabinet temperature in thermal electric units is dependent on the ambient room
temperature. Thus, the unit may not reach the desired preset temperature. For example, when the
ambient temperature is 77°F, the lowest cabinet temperature that the wine cooler can reach is
approximately 54°F.
In the event of a power failure or interruption, all modified settings will be lost.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning Your Wine cooler
xUpon installation of your new appliance, it is recommended that it be cleaned thoroughly.
xUnplug the unit from the wall outlet.
xRemove all contents.
xWash the inside with a damp warm cloth soaked in lukewarm water and baking soda solution.
The solution should be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.
xWash the racks with a mild detergent solution.
xBe sure to keep the door gasket (seal) clean to keep the unit running efficiently.
xThe outside of the wine cooler should be cleaned with mild detergent and warm water.
xDry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.
xDust or anything else blocking the vent may hinder the cooling efficiency of the wine cooler.
Vacuum the vent if necessary.
xThe air filter can be removed easily by press two buttons of air filter from the back cover , wash
the filter with mild detergent and water. Wipe dry and lock back in the same way.
Vacation Time
xUnplug the unit from the wall outlet.
xRemove all the contents.
xClean the wine cooler.
xShort vacations: Leave the wine cooler operating during vacations of less than three weeks.
xLong vacations: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all content and
unplug the power cord. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold growth,
leave the door open slightly: blocking it open if necessary.
Moving Your Wine cooler
xUnplug the unit from the wall outlet.
xRemove all the contents.
xSecurely tape down all loose items inside your wine cooler.
xTape the doors shut.
Energy Saving Tips
xThe wine cooler should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing
appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
xEnsure that the door is closed when the wine cooler is turned on.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
You can solve many common wine cooler problems easily, saving you the cost of a possible
service call. Try the suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling for
service.

Wine cooler does not operate. Not plugged in.
Make sure the wall socket is functional by testing
another electrical appliance in the power socket.
The circuit breaker tripped or a blown fuse.
Temperature inside the wine cooler is too warm. Door is kept open too long or is opened too
frequently. Warm air enters the wine cooler
every time the door is opened. Open the door
less often.
The door is not closed completely.
The door gasket does not seal properly.
The wine cooler has recently been disconnected
for a period of time.
Temperature control is set too warm.
Allow at least 24 hours for the internal
temperature to adjust properly.
*The interior temperature can be set between
54°F (12°C) and 66°F (18°C) only at the room
temperature of 77°F (25°C).
To achieve accurate temperature control, the unit
should not be used or operated in any of the
following locations:
xin a sunny place.
xin a room with poor air circulation such as a
garage.
xnear another heat producing appliance
(dishwasher, oven, refrigerator).
xwith an outlet shared with a refrigerator as it
will drain power from the unit.
xbuilt-in a wall recess, niche or cabinet.
xin a cabinet or closet.
And remember to have at least 5 inch (15 cm) of
space on each side of unit.
Temperature inside the wine cooler is too cold. Temperature control is set too cold. Turn the
control to a warmer setting and allow several
hours for the temperature to stabilize.
Vibrations. Check to assure that the wine cooler is on a level
surface.
The wine cooler is touching the wall. Re-level the
wine cooler and move it from the wall.
If continued vibration occurs, unplug the unit from
the wall outlet. Contact Customer Service Dept.
for further assistance.
Moisture forms on inside wine cooler walls. Door is slightly open.
Door is kept open too long, or is opened too
frequently. Open the door less often.
The door is not sealed properly.

The door will not close properly. The wine cooler is not on a level surface.
The gasket is dirty.
The racks are out of position
Fan is always running. This is simply a function of the cooling system.
The lower the temperature setting, the more the
fan will run. If the room is warmer than 77°F
(25°C), it will run more.
There is a puddle of water under/around the wine
cooler.
This wine cooler features a self-evaporation
system. An external drip tray is therefore not
required for accumulating condensation. If water
forms under/around the wine cooler, the humidity
level in the room is too high. Either try to lower
the humidity level in the room (using, for
example, a dehumidifier) or place the wine cooler
in an another room.
General Statements The unit does not use any CFC’s. There is no
compressor inside this unit.
The cooling system is called a Peltier System.

Limited Warranty
This warranty covers appliances in use within the continental United States, Puerto
Rico, Hawaii and Canada. The warranty does not cover the following:
Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation.
Damages due to misuse or abuse.
Content losses due to failure of the unit.
Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents.
Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as
instruction on proper use of the product, door reversal or improper installation.
Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
Failure of this product if used for other than for its intended purpose.
Disposal costs for any failed unit not returned to our factory.
Any delivery costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specified.
Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located
in a remote area where service by an authorized service technician is not available.
Removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible
location or is not installed in accordance with published installation instructions.

MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new Wine Cooler to be free from defects in material
and workmanship, and agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s), at the
company’s option, for any part(s) of the unit that have failed during the warranty period. Parts
and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
A copy of the dated sales receipt or invoice is required to receive warranty service,
replacement or refund.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’INSTALLATION
Avant d’utiliser votre REFROIDISSEUR DE VIN
xRetirez l’emballage extérieur et intérieur.
xNettoyez la surface interne à l’eau tiède à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. (Voyez la rubrique sur le
nettoyage page 6).
Installation de votre REFROIDISSEUR DE VIN
xCet appareil est conçu pour fonctionner seul. Il ne devrait pas être encastré.
xLaissez un espace de 5 pouces entre l’arrière et les côtés du refroidisseur de vin afin de
permettre la bonne circulation de l’air nécessaire à la ventilation. Ajustez les pieds pour maintenir
le refroidisseur de vin à plat.
Positionnez le refroidisseur de vin de sorte que celui-ci ne soit pas exposé à la lumière directe du
soleil ni à proximité de sources de chaleur (gazinière, chaudière, radiateur, etc.). L’exposition à la
lumière directe du soleil peut détériorer le revêtement acrylique et les sources de chaleur peuvent
augmenter la consommation électrique du refroidisseur de vin. Une température ambiante
supérieure à 26,67°C (80°F) ou inférieure à 12,78°C (55°F) entraînera une moins bonne
performance de cet appareil. Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation dans un
garage ni dans toute autre installation en extérieur.
xÉvitez de placer le refroidisseur de vin dans des lieux humides.
xBranchez le refroidisseur de vin sur une prise de courant raccordée à la terre dédiée et
correctement installée. Ne coupez ou ne retirez sous aucun prétexte le troisième ergot (terre) de
la fiche du cordon d’alimentation. Toute question concernant l’alimentation en électricité et/ou le
raccordement à la terre devrait être posée à un électricien certifié ou à un centre de réparations
agréé. Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour être installé dans un véhicule de caravaning ni
pour être utilisé avec un onduleur.
xAprès avoir branché l’appareil sur une prise de courant, laissez refroidir l’appareil pendant 3 à 4
heures avant d’y ranger les bouteilles refroidisseur de vin.

Branchement électrique
Pour votre sécurité, ce refroidisseur de vin devrait être correctement raccordé à la terre. Le cordon
d’alimentation de ce refroidisseur de vin est pourvu d’une fiche à trois ergots qui est compatible avec
les prises secteur à trois ergots standard afin de réduire la possibilité d’une électrocution.
Ne coupez ou ne retirez sous aucun prétexte le troisième ergot de la fiche du cordon d’alimentation
fourni.
Ce refroidisseur de vin nécessite une prise de courant standard de 100/120 Volt A.C. ~/60Hz
compatible avec une fiche à trois ergots raccordée à la terre.
Ce refroidisseur de vin n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé avec un onduleur.
Le cordon d’alimentation devrait être en sécurité derrière le refroidisseur de vin et ne devrait pas être
exposé ou suspendu pour éviter toute blessure accidentelle.
Ne débranchez jamais le refroidisseur de vin en tirant sur le cordon d’alimentation. Tenez toujours
fermement la fiche et tirez-la droite vers l’extérieur de la prise de courant.
N’utilisez pas de cordon de rallonge avec cet appareil. Si le cordon d’alimentation est trop court,
demandez à un électricien qualifié ou à un technicien d’entretien d’installer une prise de courant près

UTILISATION DE VOTRE REFROIDISSEUR DE VIN
COMMANDE DE TEMPÉRATURE
Le temps nécessaire pour obtenir la température sélectionnée dépend de la nature et de la quantité
des objets placés dans l'appareil.
La température peut aller de 12°C (54°F) à 18,89°C (66°F) selon vos besoins. Pour changer la
température souhaitée, ajustez le bouton de réglage de la température.
La température à l’intérieur d’un refroidisseur thermoélectrique dépend de la température ambiante. Il
est donc possible que l’appareil n’atteigne pas la température souhaitée. Par exemple, si la
température ambiante est de 25 °C (77°F), l’intérieur du refroidisseur peut aller au mieux jusqu’à
environ 12°C (54°F).
En cas de panne ou d’interruption de courant, toutes les sélections sont perdues.

ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
NETTOYAGE DE VOTRE REFROIDISSEUR DE VIN
xDès l’installation de votre nouvel appareil, nous vous recommandons de le nettoyer
méticuleusement.
xCommencez par éteindre le Refroidisseur de vin puis débranchez l’appareil de la prise de
courant.
xRetirez la totalité des aliments.
xLavez l’intérieur à l’aide d’un chiffon chaud et humide trempé dans une solution d’eau tiède et de
bicarbonate. La solution devrait comporter environ 2 cuillers à soupe de bicarbonate pour un
quart d’eauWash the racks with a mild detergent solution.
xLaver la crémaillère avec une solution détergente douce.
xAssurez-vous de maintenir le joint de la porte propre pour que l’appareil fonctionne efficacement.
xL’extérieur de l’appareil devrait être nettoyé avec un détergeant peu agressif et de l’eau tiède.
xSéchez l’intérieur et l’extérieur avec un chiffon humide.
xDe la poussière ou toute autre impureté obstruant l’aération pourrait avoir une influence négative
sur l’efficacité de l’appareil. Utilisez un aspirateur pour nettoyer l’aération si nécessaire.
xLe filtre à air peut être enlevé facilement à pousser sur deux boutons de filtre à air de la façade
arrière. Après le nettoyage du filtre à air, il peut être replacés dans le même processus.

avec soin. Afin de prévenir la formation d’odeurs et de moisissures, laissez la porte légèrement
ouverte : bloquez-la en position ouverte si nécessaire ou faites retirer la porte.

xdébranchez-le de la prise secteur
xRetirez la totalité du contenu.
xFixez solidement avec de l’adhésif tous les éléments en mouvement à l’intérieur de votre appareil.
xFermez les portes avec de l’adhésif.
Conseils pour faire des économies d’énergie
xCet Refroidisseur de vin devrait être placé dans la zone la plus fraîche de la pièce, à l’écart des
Refroidisseur de vin émettant de la chaleur ou des conduits de chauffage et ne devrait pas être
exposé à la lumière directe du soleil.
xAssurez-vous que la porte est fermée lorsque l’appareil est en allume.

GUIDE DE DÉPANNAGE
Vous pouvez résoudre un grand nombre de problèmes fréquents avec votre appareil
facilement, ce qui vous fait économiser le coût d’un appel éventuel aux services techniques.
Essayez les suggestions ci-dessous pour voir si vous pouvez résoudre le problème avant
d’appeler pour une réparation.

branchant un autre appareil électrique.

La température à l’intérieur de l’appareil est trop
élevée.
La porte reste ouverte trop longtemps ou est
ouverte trop fréquemment. De l’air chaud pénètre
à l’intérieur de l’appareil à chaque fois que la
porte est ouverte. Ouvrez la porte moins souvent.
La porte n’est pas complètement fermée.
Le joint de la porte n’est pas totalement
hermétique.
Le congélateur a récemment été débranché
pendant une période.
Le réglage de la température est trop élevé.
Attendez au moins 24 heures pour que la
température se stabilise.
* La température interne peut se régler entre
12°C (54°F) et 18°C (66°F) seulement si la
température ambiante se situe à 25°C (77°F).
Pour obtenir un bon contrôle de la température,
l’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé dans les
emplacements suivants :
xau soleil.
xdans une pièce mal ventilée telle qu’un
garage.
xà proximité d’un autre appareil qui produit de
