This manual provides installation and operation information. To use this document, you must have the following
minimum qualifications:
• A basic knowledge of CCTV systems and components
• A basic knowledge of electrical wiring, low-voltage electrical connections.

2 —Installation and Configuration
2.1 Package Contents
Installation of the camera must be performed by qualified service personnel in accordance with all
local and national electrical and mechanical codes.
Carefully remove the camera and its accessories from the carton and verify that they were not
damaged in shipment.
The contents of the package includes:

2.2 Camera Overview
THERE IS TRANSIT TAPE HOLDING THE TILT CASING, THIS MUST BE
REMOVED BEFORE POWERING UP –FAILURE TO DO SO WILL
DAMAGE THE MOTOR
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PAN OR TILT THE CAMERA BY HAND, YOU
WILL DAMAGE THE MOTORS
The camera supports AHD, TVI and CVBS from the BNC output and is defaulted to TVI. Access to
the OSD and lens control is only via TVI and AHD, there is no CVBS coax control.
NOTE: Open the cover and change the video output setting. NOTE: THE COVER IS A PRIMARY
SEAL, FAILURE TO REPLACE WILL RESULT IN MOISTURE / PARTICLE INGRESS.
You can set video signal with S1.

2.3 Connections
1. 2.1mm jack plug for 12VDC

NOTES:
The camera is only able to output one signal at a time.
To gain access to the camera OSD and lens set up, please refer to your DVR manual
for the correct coax telemetry, for TVI select TVI / Hik-C. For AHD select Fastrax-C –
this will give menu access from the DVR (you will need to refer to the DVR manual for
the commands).
2.4 Basic Installation
The camera is for use in ceiling / soffit or pendant mounting applications (pendant and wall
mounting is via bracket –not included). The camera should be attached to a structural object, such
as hard wood, wall stud or ceiling rafter that supports the weight of the camera.
1. Make screw holes on the ceiling using the supplied mounting Template Sheet.
2. Fix the camera to the ceiling using supplied Anchors (4x) and Mounting Screws (4x), or suitable
fixings
Note: If installing externally, it is recommended that a silicon bead is applied to the base of
the housing.

5 —Warranty
This camera is subject to the warranty conditions valid at the time of purchase. The exception to
this and not covered by warranty is:
Powering up the camera with the transit tape applied to the tilt mechanism –this must be removed
prior to powering the camera up otherwise damage will occur to the motors.
The camera must only be moved via coax telemetry, any attempt to move the tilt or pan function by
hand or force will damage the motors.
The switch cover on the camera is a primary seal, failure to refit / refit correctly, will expose the
camera to moisture and particle ingress.
Continuous Pan / Tilt / Zoom. The motors and the lens are designed for set up and periodic
adjustment only, not permanent usage.
