Volt CPAP Battery Pack
PLEASE READ THIS SHEET CAREFULLY TO ENSURE SAFE
USAGE AND MAINTENANCE
The Viverity™Volt CPAP Battery Pack
provides you with a simple solution at just
over 2 lbs, including carrying case. It comes
complete with a large capacity battery,
AC charger and handy carrying case. The
carrying case has a handle, shoulder strap
and four external zipper storage pouches to
give you a wide range of storage capabilities.
This unit will provide power to your CPAP
unit for up to 14 hours*of operation.
NOTE
The Volt CPAP Battery Pack requires
a manufacturer’s DC auto adapter for
your individual CPAP/Bi-PAP unit
(purchased separately). See your
Homecare Provider or the original
manufacturer of your CPAP unit.
Use:
1. Remove the charger from the case
and plug the male 12 volt end of the
charger into the female 12 volt outlet
on the CPAP battery.
2. Charge the battery until the light on the
charger turns green or a minimum of 6
hours on the first charge. A red light on
the charger indicates that the battery is
still charging.
3. When fully charged, use the
manufacturer’s DC cord (not included)
to connect your CPAP to the outlet on
the Volt CPAP Battery Pack.
NOTE
Most heated humidifiers will disable while
on battery operation due to excessive
battery consumption. The humidifier can
be used in cold passover mode instead
while battery is in use.
Always:
• Always charge the battery fully prior to
use. Only use the provided charger for
charging your Volt CPAP Battery Pack.
• Always use your Volt CPAP Battery Pack
and charger in well ventilated areas.
• Always allow the battery to cool to room
temperature prior to charging, in case
it has been heated while stored in a car,
truck, etc.
• Always disconnect the CPAP unit from
the battery when not in use. The displays
on the units consume power, shortening
your usage time.
• Always remove the Volt CPAP Battery
Pack from the case when charging. It is
normal for it to feel warm when charging
a very low battery.
• Always stop using the battery if a leak
is detected or if the unit becomes
extremely hot.
Never:
• Never try to open or pierce the wrap
around the batteries to service it.
• Never try to service the battery in any
way. It is factory sealed and changes may
cause damage to the unit or your CPAP.
• Never replace the batteries individually or
use in conjunction with another charger,
as damage can occur.
• Never submerge/allow batteries to
become wet.
• Never subject the Volt CPAP Battery Pack
to temperatures over 140° F.
• Never allow children to play with your
Volt CPAP Battery Pack, as it poses a
choking and electrical hazard.
• Never throw away or incinerate your
Volt CPAP Battery Pack. Please dispose
of the battery according to local waste
guidelines for recycling.
• Never place the battery in a microwave
or pressurized container.
• Never place the Volt CPAP Battery Pack
in checked luggage of any aircraft. It is
safe to include with carry-on bags.

Baterías CPAP Volt

Las baterías CPAP Volt Viverity™le ofrecen
una solución sencilla en un paquete de tan
solo 2 libras, incluido el estuche de transporte.
Viene completa con una batería de gran
capacidad, un cargador de CA y un práctico
estuche de transporte. El estuche tiene un
asa, una correa para el hombro y cuatro bolsas
de almacenamiento con cierre exterior que le
ofrecen una amplia gama de capacidades de
almacenamiento. Esta unidad proporcionará
alimentación a su unidad de presión de toma
de aire positiva continua (CPAP) durante hasta
14 horas de funcionamiento.
NOTA
Las baterías CPAP Volt requieren un
adaptador de CC para automóviles del
fabricante para su unidad de CPAP/Bi-PAP
individual (se vende por separado). Consulte
a su proveedor de atención domiciliaria o al
fabricante original de su unidad de CPAP.
Uso:
1. Retire el cargador del estuche y conecte
el extremo macho de 12 voltios del
cargador en la toma hembra de 12 voltios
de la batería de CPAP.
2. Cargue la batería hasta que la luz del
cargador cambie a verde o un mínimo de
6 horas en la primera carga. Una luz roja
en el cargador indica que la batería sigue
cargando.
3. Cuando esté completamente cargada,
use el cable de CC del fabricante (no
incluido) para conectar la unidad de
CPAP a la toma de las baterías CPAP Volt.
NOTA
La mayoría de los humidificadores
calentados se desactivarán mientras
funcionen con la batería debido al consumo
excesivo de la batería. El humidificador
puede utilizarse en el modo de paso frío
mientras la batería está en uso.
Siempre:
• Siempre cargue la batería completamente
antes de usarla. Utilice solo el cargador
suministrado para cargar las baterías
CPAP Volt.
• Siempre use sus baterías CPAP Volt y el
cargador en lugares bien ventilados.
• Siempre espere que la batería se enfríe a
temperatura ambiente antes de cargarla,

• Siempre desconecte la unidad de CPAP
de la batería cuando no esté en uso.
Las pantallas de las unidades consumen
energía, lo que reduce su tiempo de uso.
• Siempre retire las baterías CPAP Volt de
su estuche durante la carga. Es normal
que se calienten mientras se cargan si la
carga había estado muy baja.
• Siempre deje de utilizar la batería si
detecta una fuga o si la unidad se calienta
demasiado.
Nunca:
• Nunca intente abrir ni perforar la
envoltura que se encuentra alrededor de
la batería para repararla.
• Nunca intente reparar la batería de
ninguna forma. Está sellada de fábrica y
cualquier cambio puede causar daños en
la unidad o en su CPAP.
• Nunca reemplace las baterías
individualmente ni las utilice junto con otro
cargador, ya que esto podría causar daños.
• Nunca sumerja las baterías ni permita que

temperaturas superiores a 140 °F.
• Nunca permita que los niños jueguen con

producirse un riesgo eléctrico y de
atragantamiento.
• Nunca deseche ni incinere las baterías
CPAP Volt. Deseche las baterías según
las directrices locales de eliminación de
desechos para reciclarlas.
• Nunca coloque las baterías en un horno
microondas o en un recipiente a presión.
• Nunca coloque las baterías CPAP Volt
en equipaje documentado que se vaya
