Setup Instructions
1. Insert 4 AA batteries (included) into the battery compartment of the Battery Pack.
2. Wipe the back of your iPod to remove dust.
3. Position the Battery Pack’s two suction cups on the iPod’s back so they both make full contact with the
steel surface, with the cable exiting toward the bottom end of the iPod.
4. Connect the Battery Pack to the iPod by plugging the Battery Pack connector into the Dock Connector
of the iPod.
5. To use the Battery Pack’s batteries, slide the on/off switch to the “I” position. The iPod now received
power from the Battery Pack!
To check the remaining battery power level, press the button on the top end of the Battery Pack. The
power level from the batteries is shown by up to 4 LEDs. Once the power level drops to one LED, it’s
time to switch batteries.
When the Battery Pack is connected and turned on, the iPod will run off the battery pack, not the
internal iPod battery (as long as there is enough power in the batteries).
NOTE: The Battery Pack will not charge the iPod’s internal battery.

If a defect is discovered, Belkin will, at its option, repair or replace the product at no charge provided it is

Instructions d’installation
1. Insérez 4 piles AA (fournies) dans le compartiment des piles de la batterie.
2. Essuyez délicatement le dos de votre iPod pour en éliminer la poussière.
3. Placez les deux ventouses de la batterie sur le dos de l’iPod de telle façon qu’elles épousent
parfaitement la surface en acier, le câble ressortant par le bas de l’iPod.
4. Raccordez la batterie à l’iPod en branchant le connecteur de la batterie sur le connecteur d’accueil de
l’iPod.
5. Pour utiliser les piles de la batterie, faites glisser le bouton marche/arrêt en position « I ». L’iPod reçoit
désormais le courant de la batterie !
Pour vérifier la charge restante, appuyez sur le bouton situé sur le haut de la batterie. La charge des
piles est indiquée par 4 diodes électroluminescentes. Lorsque la charge n’est plus représentée que par
une diode, il est temps de remplacer les piles.
Lorsque la batterie est connectée et allumée, l’iPod fonctionne sur les piles de la batterie et non plus sur
sa batterie interne (tant que la charge des piles est suffisante pour le faire fonctionner).
REMARQUE : La batterie ne charge pas la batterie interne de l’iPod.

Installationsanleitung
1. Legen Sie 4 AA-Batterien (mitgeliefert) in das Batteriefach des Batterie-Packs ein.
2. Wischen Sie die Rückseite des iPod ab, so dass sie staubfrei ist.
3. Setzen Sie die beiden Saugnäpfe des Batterie-Packs auf der Rückseite des iPod so auf, dass
vollständiger Kontakt mit der Stahloberfläche besteht und das Kabel zur Unterseite des iPod hin weist.
4. Verbinden Sie das Batterie-Pack mit dem iPod, indem Sie den Steckverbinder des Batterie-Packs in den
Dock Connector des iPod einstecken.
5. Zur Nutzung der Batterien des Batterie-Packs schieben Sie den Ein/Aus-Schalter in Stellung „I”. Der
iPod wird nun vom Batterie-Pack mit Strom versorgt.
Zur Prüfung der noch verbleibenden Restladung der Batterien können Sie den Knopf oben am Batterie-
Pack drücken. Der Ladezustand wird durch 4 LEDs angezeigt. Leuchtet nur noch eine LED, wird es Zeit,
die Batterien zu wechseln.
Wenn das Belkin Batterie-Pack mit dem iPod verbunden ist, wird der iPod über die externen Batterien
mit Strom versorgt und nicht über seinen internen Akku (vorausgesetzt, die Batterien im Batterie-Pack
sind nicht verbraucht).
HINWEIS: Der interne Akku des iPod wird durch das Batterie-Pack NICHT geladen.

Instrucciones de instalación
1. Inserte 4 baterías AA (adjuntas) en el compartimento para baterías del pack de baterías.

Cuando el pack de baterías esté conectado y encendido, el iPod consumirá la carga del paquete de
baterías y no de la batería interna del iPod (siempre que haya suficiente carga en las baterías).
ATENCIÓN: El pack de baterías no cargará la batería interna del iPod.

Istruzioni per l’installazione
1. Inserire 4 batterie AA (incluse) nell’alloggiamento delle batterie del Battery Pack.
2. Pulire il retro dell’iPod per eliminare eventuale polvere.

Quando l’iPod è collegato al Battery Pack, l’iPod usa le batterie di quest’ultimo, anziché la propria
batteria interna (fino a quando le batterie saranno sufficientemente cariche).
NOTA: Il Battery Pack non carica la batteria interna dell’iPod.
