Important Guidelines
•When using electrical appliances, always read, understand and follow the basic
precautions below to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons.
•Do not connect to mains supply before assembly is completed. The important
safeguards and instruction appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all
possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood that
common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be built into any product.
These factors must be supplied by the person(s) using and operating the unit.
•Ensure the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of this appliance.
•Use this Air Cooler only as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury. Keep
Air Cooler out of children's reach to prevent risk of personal injury and electric shock.
•Unplug power cord before installing, servicing, or moving the Air Cooler.
•Warning: Do not rely on the On-Off switch as the sole means of switching off the
power when installing or servicing the Air Cooler. Always unplug the power cord.
•This Air Cooler must NOT be used in potentially dangerous locations such as
flammable, explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres.
•Do not use Air Cooler near a window. Rain may create an electrical hazard.
•Plug Air Cooler directly into a 220-240V, 50/60Hz electrical wall outlet. Where
possible, avoid the use of extension cords. Minimize the risk of overheating by
ensuring that they are UL listed. Never use a single extension cord to operate more
than one unit.
•When adding water, do not exceed the MAX level.
•When the environment's humidity level is high, choose the normal mode.
•Do not knock or move the unit once water has been added to the tank.
•Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the product. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
•Do not pour water onto or into the unit.
•If the unit is knocked over whilst the water tank is full, switch off at the mains

block or tamper the Air Cooler in any manner while it is in operation.
•Always place the Air Cooler on a stable, flat and level surface while operating to
prevent the Air Cooler from overturning.
•Ensure no objects are resting or obstructing the Air Cooler's power cord.
•Do not run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover power cord with throw rugs,

grounded.
•Do not overload outlets or extension cords. It can result in fire or electric shock.
•Do not operate the appliance if the power supply cord or plug has been damaged.
