VOKAL microphones are manufactured from high-impact resistant metals and were
developed to achieve the highest standards of reliability and performance in many
different types of applications, such as live sound, recording studio, conference rooms,
karaoke, etc.
Their magnetic capsules offer excellent frequency response and high output level and are
able to meet the needs of the most demanding audio professionals.
1 - For maximum signal-to-noise ratio, position the microphone as close as possible to the
audio source.
2 - In order to achieve a good signal level and to avoid feedback and other undesirable
noises, position the microphone pointing directly to the desired audio source and away
from other audio sources.
3 - For a better audio reproduction, never use more than one microphone per audio
source.
4 - For a better low-frequency response, position the microphone close the audio source
(this is known as “proximity effect”, and is used to achieve a full-bodied sound. Note: it can
also be used on instruments).
5 - Positioning the microphone too close to acoustically reflective surfaces will result in a
poor frequency response and higher chance of feedback ocurring.
6 - When using the microphone outdoors, use a foam windscreen to avoid wind noise.
7 - Do not obstruct the microphone globe with the hand since it may cause sound
distortion and feedback.
8 - It is important to keep the globe and protective foam clean and free of particles, in order
to achieve the best frequency response. The globe should be cleaned periodically using a
damp cloth. Let the globe dry well before attaching it back to the microphone.
