IMC-561P
The IMC-561P Unmanaged Industrial PoE Media Converter
is specically engineered to oer an aordable solution for
industrial network systems. Built to withstand wide operating
temperature from -10°C to 60°C, IP30 metal case, manufactured
with industrial components, Safety/EMI/EMS certied, Shock/
Freefall/Vibration approval, the media converter can operate
consistently even in harsh industrial environments.
The IMC-561P features 1 10/100/1000Base-T port and 1 100FX/
Gigabit SFP slot to satisfy new and evolving network
demands. With one IEEE 802.3af/at compliant port, the
device provides up to 30W per port to meet the growing
demand of higher power consuming network devices such
as wireless access points, IP cameras, and other powered
devices (PDs). Other than that, the IMC-561P features
intelligent functions like Auto MDI/MDI-X, LFS (Link Fault
Signalling), LLB (Line Loopback), LEDs, DIP switches etc. to
provide easy plug-and-play, continuous monitoring thereby
minimizing downtime for mission-critical networks.
STEP 3:
- Connect 48VDC Power Adapter to mini-DIN or connect
48~57VDC power properly to PWR & RPS (Terminal Block).
- Connect Alarm Relay output (ALM) to Alarm System.
5. Cabling RJ-45
The RJ-45 ports on the IMC-561P support auto negotiation and
auto MDI/MDI-X. This feature eliminates the worry of using
specic cable types.
Note: Category 5e cable or above should be used
Turn the power o before connecting modules or wires. The
correct power supply voltage is listed on the product label.
Check the voltage of your power source to make sure that you
are using the correct voltage. Do NOT use a voltage greater
than what is specied on the product label.
Calculate the maximum possible current in each power
wire and common wire. Observe all electrical codes dictating
the maximum current allowable for each wire size. If
current go above the maximum ratings, the wiring could
overheat, causing serious damage to your equipment.
