OPERATION
CAUTION: Take extra care when handling the
blade.
• Position the MEAT SLICER on a clean, dry and
smooth surface, away from heat and water
sources.
• Move the SLIDING TABLE back and forth a few
times to make sure the movement is smooth.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using this appliance for the first time, please ensure you complete the following
steps:
• Check that the appliance, the power plug and
power cable are all in a serviceable condition
and that all packaging materials have been
removed.
• Clean the Meat Slicer with a damp cloth or
sponge. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
• Do not use detergents or solvents. These may
damage the appliance.
WARNING: Take extra care when handling and
cleaning the BLADES as they are very sharp.
• Never use steel wool or scouring powder on any
part of the slicer. Do not wash any part of the
slicer in a dishwasher.
• The motor is in a concealed housing. Never
submerge the main unit in water.
• Ensure the blade is locked into position using
the black TWIST & LOCK centred in the middle
of the blade.

OPERATION
• Select required thickness by turning the THICKNESS ADJUSTER located behind the table. Turn the
THICKNESS ADJUSTER clockwise for thinner slices, and counter-clockwise for thicker slices. The working
range of thickness for the adjuster is 0-20mm.
• When the blade is rotating, push the SLIDER TABLE towards the blade, using the handle to ensure
fingers are kept safely away from the BLADE. Move the SLIDER TABLE back and forth in a smooth motion
keeping the food firmly pressed against the THICKNESS GUIDE for an even slice.
• Do not operate the appliance for more than 10 minutes at a time. This could cause the motor to overheat.
Turn off the appliance using the ON/OFF SWITCH. Unplug from the mains and let it rest for at least 30
minutes to allow the motor to cool.
CAUTION: If the rotational speed reduces during slicing, let the blade run without any
slicing for a few minutes to clear any blockage, then continue slicing. If the blade speed does
not continue to increase after running for a few moments, switch it off and unplug before
removing any debris carefully from the blade if this is causing the blockage.

6
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Remove all slicing parts from the appliance for thorough cleaning.
• Loosen the centre locking mechanism in the middle of the blade by turning clockwise. Wear gloves to
protect your hands from the sharp blade. Carefully pull the BLADE out of the designated slot. After
cleaning, re-apply the BLADE into its designated slot and tighten by turning the locking mechanism in a
anti-clockwise direction until you hear a click. The click will confirm the blade is locked into position, and
is safe to use.
CAUTION: Once blade is removed, it should be washed, dried and immediately reattached to the slicing
unit.
• Wash all removable parts under hot running water with a soft cloth or sponge and mild soap or sanitiser.
• Do not use steel wool or any other abrasive materials to clean any part of the MEAT SLICER.
The ELECTRIC MEAT SLICER is not dishwasher safe.
• The motor is in a concealed housing. Never submerge the base unit in water.
• Non-slip feet should be cleaned with any grease removing cleaner such as alcohol or window cleaner.
• Use a paper towel to dry the appliance after cleaning.
NOTE: It is recommended that you keep the axle and blade lubricated with cooking oil.
• Reassemble the appliance, and always turn the THICKNESS ADJUSTER back to the zero position.
• It is recommended to run the MEAT SLICER for 5 minutes after reassembling.
• Cover and store when not in use.
CAUTION: Before carrying out cleaning or maintenance,
disconnect the appliance from the mains.
• The HANDLE/SLIDER can easily be
removed for cleaning. Simply tilt the
SLIDER forward and squeeze together the
2 pegs either side (as shown).
• Pull the SLIDER down off the Meat Slicing
unit and clean with warm, soapy water.
• To replace, align, slide up and click into
position.
