1.1 The whole set

1. 2 Read Tags and checkpoint tag installation
Read tags: let reader head <1>side touch checkpoint tag,get vibration and
blue LED flash <2> indication,it means read tag successfully.data has been
record. Please do not read the same tag within one minute.

1.3 Download Patrol Data
Transmit data with IP downloader (GPRS or Ethernet downloader)
* Set IP-downloader
1.Insert SIM card in GPRS IP-downloader and connect it and PC with the IPDL cable.
2.double click on your PC and then click , choose the IPDL-II as the
following picture shows.

3.click , you will see the picture below.
GPRS version
1.Click “read settings”, you can get the specific content of your IP-downloader.
2.Choose your time zone.
3.Click “Set timezone” to store the information you set.
4.Do add the same company name with our sales gave you when open account for your
company. Please care about the case and white space.
5.Click company to store the information.
6.Please insert into this IP and port : IP :112.124.102.106 Port:50002
7.APN setting:please contact your SIM card provider.
All these setting is take web-based software as an example.if you are using other
version software please insert your own IP and port.

* Download data with GPRS downloader
1. Plz disconnect the red set cable
2. Connect the IP downloader with the round power cable only.
3. Insert V51 into downloader then data will transferred to the online software actively.
3.Transmit data with rj45 downloader
* Set RJ45-IP-downloader
1. please connect IP downloader with PC via IPDL cable only.
2. Plz click 2.double click on your PC and then click , choose the IPDL-II.

8.according to your Router with DHCP function or not, you can choose to obtain the IP
automatically or manually.
* Download data with RJ45 IP-downloader
1. Plz disconnect the red set cable.
2. Plug the round head power cable as well as the net cable
3. After scan tags, insert v51 into downloader then data will be uploaded.

4 Entry Checkpoint Tag in Software
1. Login www.onlineguardpatrol.com with your company account.
2.Set site
1.Click the , you can set several sites according your needs.
2.Click the “Update”, then data saved.

Prepare to entry tags:
Rank the tags with number on it. Then use V51 device touch them.
3. Entry tags
1.Choose the site that you want to input the data.
2. Insert V51 into downloader.
3.“ Then Click then data in V51 will upload to the software
4.You need to choose the tag you hope it show on the online software.
5.Then click to generate.

Then you will see the picture below.
* Choose the then you can change the tag name.
Attention: Entry patrolman tag and event wallets is same to checkpoints methods, plz refer to it.
1.5 How to replace the battery
Battery
If you see the red led flash, that means the battery is low, please replace the
battery.3 AAA size alkaline batteries, easily purchase and replace. It supports about one
year work, Or use more durable battery ER18505,open the V51 back-cover with the
included small pipe,find the battery clamp(only for 3AAA alkaine battery) and replace the
battery in right position. Close the back-cover again.

the way of changing batteries:
1 Turn off the battery back cap, take out the power-off AAA Alkaline Batteries/ER18505
2 Replace batteries and then use a screwdriver to make the positive pole of battery
compartment touch with its metal sidewall for 2 seconds to release the left power.
3 Put in the batteries, make sure the positive and negative poles are correctly placed.
4 Screw up the battery back cap well , do not destroy the waterproof rubber ring on it.
5 Correct the clock of the guard tour reader after changing the battery

FAQ
2.1 Can not read tag
1, please Make sure that the battery is low or not, if LED light doesn’t flash when you read.
2, the same checkpoint only can be read once in one minute. It only shows blue light
without vibration if you read it again within a short time.
2.2 Can not connect with the computer
1, check if VT51 downloader and computer connect well or not.
2, check if VT51 driver install correctly or not.
3, check if choose the correct type in software.
4, check if read head has adhesive, label or others on it or not, you could use it after
cleaning.
2.3 clock is inaccurate
LED light twinkle continuously for 10 times, it shows the clock is wrong when you read. It
will work after correcting time by computer.
2.4 Can not read after changing battery
Please put the battery back based on right way and correct reader’s time.
Attention
1, Make sure the internal clock is accurate each time after battery replacement, and
especially the first time you use the system, meanwhile pay attention whether the time
show on your computer is accurate.
2, Please don’t read the same tag in very short time(one minute).
