INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the VTech®Spin and Explore Steering
Wheel.
The Spin and Explore Steering Wheel will introduce your child
to places and objects though phrases about activities at the farm,
playground and beach. With cheerful melodies, fun animal sound
effects and sing along songs, learning has never been so much fun!
Press the horn and sing with me, drive around so happily!

• One User’s Manual
WARNING: All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets,
packing lockers, wire ties and tags are not part of this
toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE: Please keep instruction manual as it contains important
information.
Unlock the packing lockers:
Rotate the packing locker
Pull out the packing locker
and discard
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the back of
the unit. Use a coin or a screwdriver to
loosen the screw.
3. Install 2 new ‘AAA’ (AM-4/LR03) batteries
following the diagram inside the battery
box. The use of new alkaline batteries is
recommended for maximum.
BATTERY NOTICE
• The use of new alkaline batteries is recommended for maximum
performance.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before
being charged (if removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult
supervision (if removable).
• Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to
be mixed.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• The toy is not to be connected to more than the recommended
number of power supplies.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the unit in the pram bringing strap over
the front rail. Slip the top of the strap under
the slot on the back of the unit and secure.
2. Pull slightly on the unit to make sure the
strap has been securely fastened. The unit
should be snug against the pram rail. Please
check the unit frequently to ensure it is still
secure.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. ON/OFF CONTROL BUTTON
To turn the unit ON, press and hold the ON/OFF BUTTON for
approximately half a second. To turn the unit OFF, press and hold
the ON/OFF BUTTON for approximately 1 second.
2. AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
To preserve battery life, the VTech®Spin and Explore Steering
Wheel will automatically power-down after approximately 30
seconds without input. The unit only can be turned on again by
pressing the ON/OFF BUTTON.
ACTIVITIES
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF BUTTON (ignition
key) for about half a second to turn the unit
ON. You will hear fun sounds, a sing along
song and an encouraging phrase. While the
song is playing, spin the wheel to hear horn
and giggle sound effects. The light will flash
with the sounds.
2. Spin the wheel and stop at different scenes
by pointing the horn button at the different
areas on the wheel. The farm, playground
and beach scene will allow baby to hear fun
sounds and phrases that will teach animal
sounds, places and objects. The light will
flash with the sounds.

3. Spin the wheel and stop at an area that
has no special scene to hear fun sounds,
phrases and sing along songs. The light will
flash with the sounds.
4. Spin the wheel continuously to hear fun
sound effects, a phrase and a sing along
song. Continue to spin the wheel to hear
even more fun sound effects. The wheel will
stop these responses once the horn button
is pointing at a specific scene. The light will
flash with the sounds.
5. Press the horn button to hear horn sound
effects and a sing along song. While the
song is playing, press the horn button again
to hear more fun horn sound effects. The
light will flash with the sounds.
6. Press the light-up button to hear fun
melodies. While the melodies are playing,
press the horn button to hear a fun horn
sound effect. Spin the wheel quickly to
increase the tempo of the melody. The light
will flash with the sounds.
7. Press and hold the ON/OFF BUTTON for
approximately 1 second to turn the unit off.
You will hear the phrase “Bye-bye”, then it
will go in to sleep mode. The unit can only
be re-activated by pressing and holding
the ON/OFF BUTTON for about half a
second.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
source.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on hard surfaces and do not expose the unit
to moisture or water.

Trouble Shooting
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working, please follow
these steps:
1. Please turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit ON. The unit should now be ready to play again.
5. If the product still does not work, replace with an entire set of new
batteries.
