HOW TO SET TEMPERATURE AND FUNCTIONAL PARAMETERS
TO SET TEMPERATURE: Press UP or DOWN arrow keys to desired temperature. The controller will
confirm and store the setting until it is changed.
NORMAL STARTUP
Press MODE key for 2 seconds, or until BLUE indicator light turns to MANUAL
Press MODE key for 2 seconds or until BLUE indicator light turns to STANDBY
Turn SOFT START function ON or OFF by pressing the MODE key and the SETUP key
simultaneously. If ON, the PV display window will read SOFT and the SV display will read ON.
Press UP key to close (SV display will then read OFF). Press DOWN arrow key to OPEN (SV display
will read ON), etc.
TEMPERATURE UNIT SETTING: Press the SETUP key once to enter the temperature unit setting
status: Press UP arrow for Fahrenheit (SV window will display F). Press DOWN arrow for Celsius (SV
window will display C).
THERMOCOUPLE TYPE SETTING: Press the SETUP key once to enter the type of thermocouple in
use. PV display window will show SENS, SV display window will show J denoting Type J
thermocouple. Press UP arrow for K-type thermocouple, press DOWN arrow for Type-J.
OUTPUT CONTROL MODE SETTING: Press the SETUP key once to enter the OUTPUT CONTROL
settings. PV window should display OUT. SV display shows PIDD or PID. Press UP arrow or DOWN
arrow to select. Factory setting is PIDD.
HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM SETTING: Press the setup key once to enter the “over-temperature”
set point alarm limit setting. PV window will display AL-H. Factory setting is 30C, or 70F, indicating
that if the temperature reaches 70F above the set point, the alarm will activate. Press UP or
DOWN arrows to change the settings.
LOW TEMPERATURE ALARM SETTING: Press the SETUP key once to enter the “below temperature”
set point alarm limit setting. The PV display window shows AL-L. The factory setting is set at -70F.
Press UP or DOWN key to change the set point.
TEMPERATURE CORRECTION: Press SETUP1 key one time to enter temperature correction mode.
Press the UP arrow to increase the temperature, the DOWN arrow to decrease the temperature.
WHEN DESIRED PARAMETERS ARE SET,
PRESS THE SETUP KEY FOR 2 SECONDS TO COMPLETE THE SETUP
TO MANUALLY CONTROL OUTPUT POWER
With temperature cable disconnected, PV display will show “TC oPEn”, SV will display “Cond”;
Press SETUP key for 1-3 seconds. PV will display ”TC oPEn” , SV will display “tESt”.
Now press SETUP key for 1-3 seconds. PV will display “TC oPEn”. SV will display “0P”.
Now press UP arrow to set the OUTPUT POWER PERCENTAGE according to production
requirements. Factory setting will be at 20% of heating capacity for 10-30 minutes. Use arrows to
set according to preference.

Press again to close.
When BOOST indicator light turns RED, output ratio
increases by 20%. Heating speed also increases for approx.
15 seconds before returning to normal.
