MAINTENANCE | CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Improper use or lack of care can lead to early deterioration of your Basketball Set. Please
follow all of the points below to ensure your tent lasts as long as possible.
WEATHER CARE
You must disassemble your entire trampoline and basketball set.
You must remove your basketball set if strong wind is present. The additional weight on the
net poles can increase the chance of your trampoline net system becoming damaged.
Long sun exposure will cause your hoop material to fade. Cover or remove if not in use.
STORAGE
Store in a cool, dry place in the original packaging.
NOTICE
Metal Rust and Corrosion
ÝÛ Rusting will accelerate in areas that water is difficult to escape from.
ÝÛ Hollow section steel can appear in good condition on the outside while hiding
rusted areas on the inside. The backboard frame should be inspected
ÝÛ on the inside every six months and have any water removed from the inside surfaces.
ÝÛ Weld lines are particularly prone to rusting. Welds are used on the backboard
frame.
ÝÛ Areas where different metal components are joined together are particularly prone
to rusting. All tube and pole connection areas, where the backboard frame
ÝÛ inserts into the net poles, where the backboard hangs on the backboard frame,
and the hoop hinges are particularly prone to rusting.
ÝÛ General purpose grease used on connection areas will improve the anti-corrosive
performance of the steel.
ÝÛ Excessively cleaning the steel components may reduce the effectiveness of the rust
protective coatings.
Textile Deterioration
ÝÛ Ensure you clean your hoop only with a soft sponge to avoid cutting the material threads.
ÝÛ Do not use powerful soaps or detergents, as these can lead to damage of the hoop.
ÝÛ Any water applied to clean the hoop must be wiped dry with a clean cloth or chamois
and not left to dry in the sun.

5
Save this instruction in the event that Vuly has to be contacted for replacement parts.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR
PROPERTY DAMAGE AND WILL VOID WARRANTY.
The owner must ensure that all players know and follow these rules for safe operation of
the system:
ÝÛ Do not attempt to assemble this Basketball Set without following the instructions carefully.
Identify parts using the hardware identifier and parts list in this document.
ÝÛ If using a ladder during assembly, use extreme caution.
ÝÛ Two capable adults are recommended for installation.
ÝÛ All bolts must be tightened securely.
ÝÛ Ensure that there are no overhead power lines within 7m (20’) radius of the system.
ÝÛ Proper and complete assembly, use, and supervision are essential for proper operation
and to reduce the risk of accident or injury.
ÝÛ A high probability of serious injury exists if this system is not installed, maintained, and
operated properly.
ÝÛ Most injuries are caused by misuse or not following instructions.
ÝÛ Use caution when using this system.
ÝÛ During play, especially when performing dunk type activities, keep player’s face away
form the backboard, hoop, and net. Serious injury could occur if teeth or face
ÝÛ come in contact with backboard, hoop or net.
ÝÛ Do not climb or play on the system.
ÝÛ Keep hands and fingers away from moving parts.
ÝÛ Do not wear jewelry during use. Objects may entangle in the net.
ÝÛ Keep water and organic material away. The Basketball Set can rust and fail.
ÝÛ Check system before each use for loose hardware, rust and instability. Repair before
each use.
ÝÛ If rust is found, completely remove the rust and repaint with exterior enamel. If rust has
penetrated any steel part, replace that part immediately.
ÝÛ Never play on damaged equipment.
ÝÛ Do not use the system during windy or severe weather. The trampoline may tip over.
Install the trampoline in an area protected from the wind or in an area away from
property that may be damaged if the system fails.
