MAINTENANCE | SPECIFIC USE & SAFETY LIMITATIONS
ÝÛ Trampolines should be placed on impact-absorbing surfaces such as grass, wood chip, sand (not beach sand to avoid rusting), rubber
or synthetic compounds. Trampolines produce high downwards pressure and can damage hard surfaces such as tiles.
ÝÛ The trampoline must not be used in gusty or severe winds and only when wind or air movement is calm and gentle.
ÝÛ Use the trampoline in a well-lit area.
SAFETY CHECKS
Every checking procedure is to be performed before using the trampoline.
Product Check
ÝÛ Inspect the trampoline before each use.
ÝÛ The trampoline safety net must always be correctly fitted to promote safer use of the trampoline.
ÝÛ Do not use the trampoline in the rain or wet conditions.
ÝÛ Replace any worn, defective, or missing parts.
ÝÛ Maintain a clear area around, above, and under the trampoline so nothing can interfere with the user.
ÝÛ Properly secure the trampoline when not in use to protect against unauthorised use.
ÝÛ Any ladder should be removed from the trampoline when not using the trampoline, to prevent young children from falling and injuring
themselves.
ÝÛ Do not allow any activity underneath the trampoline.
ÝÛ Check the surface of the mat for foreign objects and remove them.
ÝÛ Inspect the safety net structure for missing, improperly positioned, bent, broken or insecurely attached net poles, pole caps and sharp
protrusions.
ÝÛ Inspect the safety net textiles for deteriorated stitching, punctures, fraying, sagging, tears, or holes.
Personal Check
ÝÛ Do not bounce when tired or bounce for so long that you become tired.
ÝÛ Refrain from eating or drinking on the trampoline to avoid spillages and potential injury as a result.
ÝÛ It is advisable not to bounce immediately after a meal.
ÝÛ Do not use a trampoline while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
ÝÛ Ensure the user weight is less than 150kg / 330 lbs.
Clothing Check
ÝÛ Wear clothing that is tight fitting and allows freedom of movement
ÝÛ Do not wear shoes while bouncing on the trampoline unless they are designed specifically for use on a trampoline.
ÝÛ Wear sun-protective clothing, sunscreen and a soft hat.
ÝÛ Wear clothing free of drawstrings, hooks, loops, buckles, jewellery or anything that could get caught while using the trampoline net
and result in entanglement, strangulation or damage to the trampoline.
ÝÛ The user must not have any solid or sharp objects present on their person. Foreign objects may damage the safety net or jumping mat.
Behaviour Check
ÝÛ Avoid bringing any miscellaneous items onto the trampoline.
ÝÛ Do not allow pets on the trampoline at any time. Sharp claws may cause damage to the textile materials.
ÝÛ Do not jump onto or off of the trampoline.
ÝÛ Do not use trampoline without mature and knowledgeable supervision.
ÝÛ Misuse and abuse of the trampoline is dangerous and can cause serious injuries.
ÝÛ The trampoline frame is designed to support the user and the springs. Any weight added by persons sitting on the edge of the mat or
frame puts increased pressure on the entire spring system.
The owner and supervisors of the trampoline are responsible
to make all users aware of practices specified in the use
and safety instructions. Read all instructions before using
the trampoline. For further information or additional

SITE PLANNING
ÝÛ Adequate overhead clearance is essential. A minimum
clearance of 8m / 26ft from ground level is recommended.
Provide clearance for wires, tree limbs, and other possible
hazards.
ÝÛ Lateral clearance is essential. Place the trampoline away
from walls, structures, fences, and other play areas.
ÝÛ Maintain a free space of minimum 1500mm on all sides
of the trampoline. This area should not include concrete,
bitumen, brick or other hard surfaces as these can cause
serious injuries.
ÝÛ Keep the trampoline on a level surface.
