Installation
The luminaire should be installed and maintained by a
suitably qualified person in compliance with the latest
construction and electrical regulations and relevant
legislation.
During checking of the installation location the maxi-
mum temperature on the outer lens should be consi-
dered. The temperature is shown on the identification
label.
Suitable for Drive-over at low speeds and high
pressure tyres, up to 5 tonnes.
The luminaire should not get covered partially or
completely. Dirt on the lens has to get removed.
Do not open the luminaire in humid conditions or
during rain. This will result in condensation forming
inside the luminaire.
Notice: If the luminaire is modified by anybody other
than the original manufacturer, then the warranty will
no longer be valid and shall become the full respon-
sibility of the modifying person/organisation. Claims
based on defects attributable to improper installation
and/or application, and the consequences thereof, are
excluded.
Maintenance
Apart from cleaning the product’s exterior surfaces,
no special maintenance work is required. Do not use
high-pressure cleaners.
Protect our environment: Discard used LEDs in compli-
ance with the most recent environmental legislation.

Installation Methods with BET
Ensure that proper drainage is provided for the shown
installation methods.
1) In landscaped areas (soil with gravel base), pic. 1

Installation with Blockout BET
Phase One
(During earth or masonry works)
1) Place the mounting ring Eon to the installation
blockout Oin such a way, that the connector locks
into position on the blind rivets.
2) A suitable recess is to be provided to accomodate
installation blockout/mounting ring assembly E/O.
Proceed as follows:
a) Set in position together with supply cable(s) P.
b) Luminaire mounting ring Eto be flush with
surface F(if the floor will be tiled or paved after-
wards leave an appropriate gap).
c) Point arrow Rtowards the object (wall, tree,
column ...) to be illuminated.

Phase Two (Electrical connection, aiming)
3) Switch off mains electrical supply.
4) Check that rating shown on luminaire label conforms
with the mains electrical supply. Observe the maxi-
mum permissible wattage in connection with BET
installation blockouts (refer to table „Installation
Accessories“).
5) Remove the two screws Qin the mounting ring E.
Terminate wires of luminaire cable Aand mains
supply cable Pin sealable junction box C.
Open the packaging of the desiccant bag. Place
the bag in the lower part of the luminaire housing.
Firmly connect the luminaire housing to the moun-
ting ring Eusing the two screws Q.

6) To adjust the light distribution, loosen screws K
and L. Now the angle of rotation Nand the inclina-
tion Mto the object which should get illuminated
can get adjusted. Fix the position by slight tightening
of both screws Kand L.

7) Linking wireless luminaires with the CRMX techno-
logy. Units can link with any other CRMX units as
well as legacy W-DMX™ (G2/G3/G4) transmitters
(2.4 GHz only).
To unlink one unit:
On the receiver, press and hold the button for more
than 3 seconds to unlink it from a transmitter/ repea-
ter. The wireless link indicator will extinguish.
To link one unit:
7.1 Ensure the antenna is connected.
7.2 Power on the transmitter and receiver(s).
7.3 Ensure that the wireless link indicators on all receivers
are off to indicate that the receiver(s) are ready to
be linked. If necessary, follow the unlink procedure.
7.4 On the transmitter, press and release the button.
7.5 The transmitter will search for any unlinked recei-
vers. The wireless link indicator will flash for 10
seconds and normal operation will resume.
7.6 The wireless link indicator will change to a stead
on-state for successfully linked receivers.
9) When positioning luminaire at the designated area
make sure that no pressure is put on to the sealable
junction box C, the cable Por the cable gland D.
10) In areas with high slippage risk lenses with anti-slip
coating (ASC) are recommended.

Switch on luminaire, let it operate for 30 minutes
to avoid water condensation and carefully close
the luminaire after the time has elapsed. Tighten
screws Jwith a tightening torque of 6 Nm.

8) Bring the lens/cover/gasket H/I, cover ring Gand
the 6 hexagon socket screws into the position
described. Align the gasket on the fixing pin X.
Do not yet tighten the screws!
Attention: For proper sealing of luminaire, the pin X
must be positioned in the corresponding hole of
the gasket H.
