1. Device description
The HPM110 SR-HPM-110-MT/SR-HPM-110-UN, hereinafter referred
to as HPM110, is used to measure pressure. Dynamic pressure peaks
are measured at a sampling rate of 10 ms (100 measured values/sec-
ond). The MIN/MAX memory is continuously updated and overwritten.
Scope of delivery and accessories
Check the scope of delivery and the accessories ordered. If anything is
missing, contact your sales office.
■HPM110 SR-HPM-110-MT with adapter M16x2 or
HPM110 SR-HPM-110-UN without adapter
■Mini USB cable (data logger version only)
2. Safety instructions
Before working with the HPM110, read and follow this operating man-
ual. Disregarding the instructions, especially the safety information, can
result in danger to people, the environment, equipment and the system.
The HPM110 corresponds to the current state of the art in terms of
accuracy, functionality and safe operation of the devices.

Safety instructions
8
Observe the existing national regulations for accident pre-
vention and safety at work when carrying out any work!
Observe the IP protection class when using the HPM110
in wet areas (&„Technical data“ on page77)!
The HPM110 should only be connected by trained spe-
cialist personnel!
Note the specified tightening torques!
Avoid any violent impacts on the HPM110!
Never use a damaged or defective HPM110!
Never assemble or disassemble the HPM110 while the
HPM110 is under pressure!
Only use the HPM110 in the approved pressure range
(&„Technical data“ on page77)!

2.1 Intended use
The HPM110 is intended for pressure measurement within the ap-
proved ranges (&„Technical data“ on page77) .
Any other use of the HPM110 is inadmissible, can lead to accidents or
the destruction of the HPM110 and immediately renders any guarantee
and warranty claims against the manufacturer null and void.
Misuse
The HPM110 does not comply with Directive 2014/34/EU and there-
fore must not be used in potentially explosive areas.
2.2 Specialist personnel
This operating manual is intended for trained specialist personnel who
are familiar with the applicable provisions and standards in the area of
use. The qualified personnel responsible for commissioning and oper-
ating the device must be suitably qualified. Such qualification can be
obtained through training or appropriate instruction.
The contents of this operating manual must be known to the specialist

3.1 Display
The HPM110 is screwed into an existing system and measures the
current pressure value. The current pressure (ACTUAL) is shown on the
display. The measured value is shown in the actual value display with
the appropriate unit. The MIN, MAX or FS value is shown in the lower
area of the display.
Display Description
Bar graph Displays the current pressure in graphical form.
Displays pressure peaks in the form of a pixel (line).
The display is updated at an interval of 50 ms (20
measurements/s).
Actual value Displays the actual pressure.
The display is updated at an interval of 300 ms (3
displays/s).
MIN/MAX Displays the MIN, MAX or FS value, depending on
the setting.
The display is updated at an interval of 300 ms (3
displays/s).
FS Full scale value (e.g. 600 bar).
Units Displays the set unit.

NOTIFICATION
Material damage due to excessive force.
►Only ever hand-tighten the HPM110 (together with the pre-in-
stalled adapter)!
►If you operate the HPM110 SR-HPM-110-MT without an
adapter, maintain the permitted tightening torque of 35 Nm.
1 Mount the HPM110 in the desired position using the pre-in-
stalled adapter.
4.2 Switch on the HPM110
The HPM110 is supplied from the factory with built-in batteries.
1 Press the ON/OFF key.
ÄThe HPM110 starts and carries out a self-test.
ÄThe current settings are displayed one after the other.

4.5 Measure pressure peaks/display full scale value
■The MIN/MAX function is used to measure pressure peaks.
■The display of the full scale value (FS) helps make the bar graph
function easier to read.
The smallest (MIN) or the largest (MAX) measured values are stored
in the MIN/MAX memory. The MIN/MAX memory is deleted when the
device is switched off. If different pressure tests are to be carried out in
succession, the MIN/MAX memory must be deleted after each meas-
urement.
1 Press the MIN/MAX/FS key to switch between the display
values.
ÄThe currently selected display value (MIN, MAX or FS) is
shown on the display.
4.6 Delete MIN/MAX values
1 Press the RESET/OK/START-STOP key.
ÄThe MIN and MAX values are reset.

ENGLISH
Operation

4.7 Correct the zero point
In the event of undesirable deviations in a depressurised state (atmos-
pheric pressure), the zero point can be corrected manually.
■The zero point correction can only be carried out for deviations up
to a maximum of 5% of the full scale value.
■Always carry out the zero point correction in a depressurised state
to avoid incorrect measurements.
1 Press the ZERO/MENU key.
ÄThe zero point is reset and ZERO ON appears in the dis-
play.
2 Press the RESET/OK/START-STOP key.
Ä0.0 bar appears as the actual value on the display. The
adjustment remains activated until the device is switched
off.
