USER GUIDE
Stone heater for 6 pieces, ref. HARMONY WK-S012
Please read this document carefully before using the device. Keep it in an
accessible place so that you can read it at any time.
You will be working with high-temperature stones in contact with the body, so it
is very important to be very aware of it and to follow the next guidelines in order
to avoid any injury.
Precaution
1. A short power cord is supplied. Longer ones can get entangled and risk
the safety of the device.
2. Do not touch the hot surface of the equipment.
3. Given that the equipment has electric components, never immerse the
cord, the plug or the unit in water.
4. Turn the equipment off before unplugging it from the power supply.
5. Do not use it near a shower or a bath area to avoid contact with water.
6. Keep it away from children or pay extreme attention if it is used near
children.
7. Unplug the equipment when it is not being used and for cleaning. Let it
cool down for a while after its use and before cleaning it.
8. If the power cord or the plug is damaged, do not use the equipment.
Please contact your distributor or the manufacturer to repair or replace it.
9. Use only the original accessories supplied with the equipment.
10. Do not use the equipment outdoors.
11. Do not let the power cord touch hot surfaces.
12. Do not place the equipment near an electric burner or an oven.
13. Please pay extreme attention when moving the equipment if it contains
hot water.
14. Use only the equipment to heat massage stones, not for anything else
which is not conceived for.
15. Fill the water tank up to approximately 2,5 cm below the rim.
16. Place the equipment on a heat-resistant and level surface.
17. Always put the stones inside the tank before filling it with water.
18. Do not fill the water tank inside a sink while being plugged. There is a high
risk of an electric shock.
19. Test the temperature of the stones on your hands or fingers before using
them on the patient’s skin.

20. To pick up the stones from the hot water, use the slotted spoon in order
to avoid burns.
21. Never add boiling water in order not to alter the equipment temperature
and avoid burning yourself or the patient.
22. Use the equipment in a well-ventilated area.
23. Check that the electric features of the equipment fit the ones in your
working space before using the equipment.
Contraindications
Do not use this hot massage treatment with the following patients:
-People suffering from tuberculosis, tumours, thrombosis or phlebitis.
-People having haemorrhage, bruises, rashes, burns, cuts, varicose veins,
skin irritation or sensitive skin.
-Pregnant women, people suffering from diabetes or any other illnesses
should ask for their doctor’s approval before following this massage
therapy.
Equipment description
The display “Current temperature” shows the internal temperature as it has been
adjusted or as it evolves during the regular use, for example if the lid has been
opened. You can also adjust here if you want the temperature to be shown in
Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees. It ranges from 0ºC to 93 ºC.
The display “Setting temperature” shows the temperature that the professional
can select. It ranges from 40ºC to 70 ºC. If there is a malfunction, an error code
will be displayed.
The “heat indication light” (placed between both displays) turns off once the
desired temperature is achieved.
Keys (+) and (-) allow increasing or decreasing the temperature.
Operation
1. Wash the stones before each use.
2. Before starting the treatment, place a hand towel along the bottom of the

equipment in order to arrange the hot stones once heated. Always handle
the stones with care when you put them into the water tank or remove
them from it.
3. Before plugging the equipment, introduce the stones into the water tank
and make sure you add enough water to cover the stone. Use the lid to
close the tank.
4. Plug the equipment and select either Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees, which
will be shown on the Current temperature display.
5. Press on/off key to turn on the heater and set the temperature as desired
with (+) and (-) keys and it will be shown on the setting temperature
display.
6. The equipment is heating while the indication light is on. It will turn off
once the desired temperature is achieved.
7. Then, pick up the first stone from the water tank with the slotted spoon
provided. Test the temperature of the stone with your finger, and if it is
not too hot, hold it on your hand. When the temperature is warm and you
feel yourself comfortable, you can place it on the patient’s skin.
8. Once the session is finished, turn the unit off with the on/off key and
unplug it when not in use.
Maintenance and cleaning
Clean the equipment after each session following the next steps.
1. It is very important to unplug the equipment and let it cool down before
cleaning it.
2. Carefully pick up the stones with the provided slotted spoon before
removing the water.
3. Clean the water tank and the equipment lid with soap and cold water.
Rinse it with clean water and dry it with a clean cloth or towel.
4. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth or towel. Never immerse it in water
or place it inside a sink to rinse it.
5. Rinse the stones under cold running water, use antibacterial soap and
warm water to get rid of any oil, cream or remaining lotion on the stones
and rinse them under cold water. Dry them with a lint-free cloth and place
them back into their case.

•If the temperature is lower than 0ºC, an L will be shown in the current
temperature display. If E1 appears on the display, it means the
temperature has exceeded 93ºC.
•If E2 appears on the current temperature display, it shows that the
internal gauge is defective and temperature will keep on heating
indefinitely. So, if E2 appears, it is very important to interrupt operation
and unplug it from the power source.
•If “- -” appears on the setting temperature display, it means that the
desired temperature is yet to be set.
