WEITECH Mosquito and flying insect trap, ref. WK0120
OPERATION:
THE WEITECH JELLYFISH* MOSQUITO AND FLYING INSECT TRAP protects your interior, including bedrooms and living
areas, against mosquitoes, tiger mosquitoes, moths, flies, etc.
Attracted by the ultraviolet light, insects nearby are immediately sucked into the collecting vessel by the air current
created by the fan, where they die by drying out as a result of the air current.
Odourless, discrete and economical, the lamp has 3 positions:
• Anti-insect UV light
• Decorative daytime light: atmospheric lighting
• Decorative night light
Pest control mode recommended for people allergic to traditional
insecticides.

SETTING UP:
Connect the adaptor to the device, then plug it into a socket.
The lamp has 3 positions (see diagram 2):
• Anti-insect UV light
• Decorative daytime light: atmospheric lighting
• Decorative night light
Manual mode:
Press the button corresponding to the required function (see diagram 2). For example, for the anti-insect function,
press the "anti-insect UV light" button.
To turn off the device, press the same button.
Automatic mode:
Remove the cover from the light detector and press the "anti-insect UV light" button. The device will come on and

go off depending on the outside light (only applies to the anti-insect function). To turn off the device, put the cover
back on and press the button for the activated function.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
• For the anti-insect function, position the lamp away from other light sources. For more effective bedroom
protection, turn the device on at least 3 hours before you go to sleep. Ideally, close the windows and turn
off the light.
• It takes 30 minutes to dry mosquitoes out with the air displaced by the fan when they are trapped.
• Do not install the product in the air flow of an air conditioning unit as this could disturb the air flows of the
product's fan and reduce performance.
PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
Keep out of reach of children. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the device. Avoid staring at the lamp.
Do not use in the bathroom. Do not use in a room where explosives or fireworks are stored. Do not use outdoors in
daylight (terrace, etc.) as the device will not be attractive to insects because they can no longer distinguish between
the ultraviolet light and daylight.
If the device is not being used for a prolonged period of time (> 1 month), disconnect it and store in a dry place away
from light and moisture.
MAINTENANCE:
Cleaning the device:
• Disconnect the lamp before cleaning or before emptying the trap.
• Unscrew the trap part to empty it and clean with water.
• Dry thoroughly before screwing it back on.

Attirés par la lumière ultraviolette, les insectes à proximité sont immédiatement aspirés par le courant d’air provoqué
par le ventilateur, dans le bac collecteur, où ils meurent par dessèchement dû au courant d’air.

Inodore, discrète et économique, la lampe possède 3 positions :
• Lumière UV anti-insectes
• Lumière de jour décorative : atmosphère lumineuse
• Lumière de nuit décorative : veilleuse.
Mode de lutte recommandé pour les personnes souffrant d’allergies
aux insecticides traditionnels.

MISE EN ŒUVRE :
Relier l’adaptateur à l’appareil puis le brancher dans une prise.
La lampe possède 3 positions (voir schéma 2) :
• Lumière UV anti-insectes
• Lumière de jour décorative : atmosphère lumineuse
• Lumière de nuit décorative : veilleuse.
Mode manuel :
Appuyer sur le bouton correspondant à la fonction souhaitée (voir schéma 2). Par exemple, pour la fonction anti-
insectes, appuyer sur le bouton « lumière UV anti-insectes ».
Pour éteindre l’appareil, appuyer sur le même bouton.
Mode automatique :
Retirer le cache sur le détecteur de luminosité et appuyer sur le bouton « lumière UV anti-insectes », l’appareil se
mettra en marche et s’éteindra en fonction de la lumière extérieure (valable uniquement pour la fonction anti-
insectes). Pour éteindre l’appareil, remettre le cache et appuyer sur le bouton de la fonction enclenchée.
CONSEILS D’UTILISATION :
• Pour la fonction anti-insectes, placer la lampe éloignée des autres sources de lumière. Pour une meilleure
efficacité, allumer l’appareil au moins 3 heures avant d’aller dormir pour la protection d’une chambre.
Idéalement, fermer les fenêtres et éteindre la lumière.
• Il faut 30 minutes pour dessécher les moustiques avec l'air déplacé par le ventilateur lorsqu’ils sont piégés.

• Ne pas installer le produit sur le passage du courant d’air d’un climatiseur afin de ne pas perturber le flux
d’air du ventilateur du produit, ce qui réduirait sa performance.
PRÉCAUTIONS D’EMPLOI :
Tenir hors de portée des enfants. Ne pas insérer de doigts ou d’objet étranger dans l’appareil. Éviter de fixer la lampe
du regard.
Ne pas utiliser dans la salle de bains. Ne pas utiliser dans un lieu où sont stockés des explosifs et artifices. Ne pas
utiliser en plein jour à l'extérieur (terrasse…) car l'appareil perd de son attrait pour les insectes qui ne font plus alors
la distinction entre la lumière ultraviolette du piège et la lumière du jour.
En cas de non utilisation de l’appareil pendant une période prolongée (> 1 mois), débrancher le produit et le ranger
dans un lieu sec à l’abri de la lumière et de l’humidité.
ENTRETIEN :
Nettoyage de l’appareil :
• Débrancher la lampe avant d’effectuer un nettoyage ou avant de vider le piège.
• Dévisser la partie piège pour la vider et la nettoyer avec de l’eau.
• Bien sécher avant de la revisser.

Insecten in de buurt worden aangetrokken door het ultraviolette licht en worden onmiddellijk door de luchtstroom

De geluidloze, onopvallende en zuinige lamp heeft 3 standen:
• Insectenwerend UV-licht
• Decoratief daglicht: sfeerverlichting
• Decoratief nachtlicht: waakstand.
Aanbevolen bestrijdingsmodus voor mensen die allergisch zijn voor
de meest gebruikte insectenbestrijdingsmiddelen.
*Kwalvormig opzuigapparaat.

GEBRUIK:
Koppel de adapter aan het apparaat en steek de stekker in een
stopcontact.
De lamp heeft 3 standen (zie tekening 2):
• Insectenwerend UV-licht
• Decoratief daglicht: sfeerverlichting
• Decoratief nachtlicht: waakstand.
Handmatig:
Druk op de knop van de gewenste functie (zie tekening 2). Druk voor de insectenwerende functie bijvoorbeeld op de
knop “insectenwerend UV-licht”.
Druk op dezelfde knop om het apparaat uit te schakelen.
Automatisch:
Haal de afdekking van de lichtsensor en druk op de knop “insectenwerend UV-licht”; het apparaat wordt ingeschakeld
en gaat uit al naargelang het buitenlicht (geldt alleen voor de insectenwerende functie). Plaats de afdekking terug en
druk op de knop van de ingeschakelde functie om het apparaat uit te schakelen.
GEBRUIKSADVIEZEN:
• De lamp voor de insectenwerende functie uit de buurt van andere lichtbronnen plaatsen. Het apparaat voor
een grotere doeltreffendheid minstens 3 uur voordat u gaat slapen aanzetten in geval van de bescherming
van een slaapkamer. Het beste is om de ramen te sluiten en het licht uit te doen.
• Eenmaal gevangen duurt het 30 minuten voordat de muggen uitdrogen door de door de ventilator
verplaatste lucht.
• Het product niet in de luchtstroom van een airconditioning plaatsen om de luchtstroom van de ventilator
van het product niet te verstoren, wat de prestaties zou verminderen.
