bath chair is not properly assembled and adjusted, personal injury and damage
to the bath seat could result.
WARNING: If any parts are missing or damaged, please do not return to the
place of purchase. Contact After Sales Support at 866-558-8096. DO NOT use
substitute parts. Non-Welby bath chair replacement parts could cause personal
injury and damage the bath chair.
WARNING: This product has a weight limit of 300 lb. (136 kg). DO NOT EXCEED.
WARNING: DO NOT use this product as a transfer bench or climbing device.
WARNING: Ensure all bath seat components are secure before each use.

Bath & Shower Chair Assembly
This Bath & Shower Chair can be used either with
or without the backrest, depending on your needs
and comfort level.
Seat & Frame Assembly:
1. Locate leg frame (A), leg frame (B), seat (C)
and one of the short screw knobs (H).
2. Place seat facing down on a flat,
dry surface.
3. Place leg frames in “X” pattern over the under-
side of the seat by matching up the A & B on
the leg frame with the A & B on the underside
of the seat as shown below. Leg frame (B)
must be under leg frame (A) (fig.1).
4. Fasten legs to seat by inserting shortest
screw knob through center holes of leg
frames and seat and turning screw knob
clockwise until tight.

INSTALLING LEG EXTENSIONS
1. Locate the four leg extensions (D).
2. Attach leg extensions by pushing in the height adjustment button, inserting
leg extension onto leg frame, and moving to the desired height position until it
“clicks” into place (fig. 2).
3. Ensure that all leg height adjustment buttons protrude fully through adjustment
holes and legs are locked at the same height (fig. 2).
Note: There are numbers next to the adjustment holes to indicate the height.
Please be sure all four adjustment buttons are locked at the same number.

ATTACHING THE BACKREST FRAME:
1. Place seat facing down on a table. Please note the direction of the arrow on un-
derside of the seat. This is to point away from the backrest indicating the front
of the seat.
2. Locate the 4 long screw knobs (G).
3. Align backrest frames (F) to the four seat holes (located under the frame holes)
on each corner of seat in the desired position. (fig. 3) Note: The backrest frame
can be vertically adjusted. See inset A below.
4. At this time, fasten the backrest frame (F) loosely to the seat by inserting 1 long
screw knob (G) through each of the following: backrest frame hole, leg frame
hole, and corner seat hole (fig. 3). Then turn the screw knobs clockwise until
they are only slightly tightened. These will need to be completely tightened after
the back rest is attached.

ATTACHING THE BACKREST:
1. Locate the remaining 4 short screw knobs (H).
2. Align backrest frame holes to backrest (E) (fig.4).
3. Fasten backrest frame to backrest by inserting the 4 short screw knobs (H)
through each hole and turning screw knobs clockwise until tight (fig.4).
4. Turn the seat back over again and securely tighten the backrest frame screw
knobs located underneath the seat.

ASSEMBLY WITHOUT THE BACKREST:
1. Locate the 5 short screw knobs (H).
2. Follow the instructions; Seat & Frame Assembly and Installing Leg Extensions,
located on pages 3 to 5 of this manual.
3. Align leg frames with the four seat holes on each corner of the seat (fig.5).
4. Fasten legs to the seat by inserting the short screw knobs (H) through the leg
frame holes and corner seat holes. Turn the screw knobs clockwise until tight
(fig. 5).
5. Keep the backrest and 4 long screws (G) with this manual for future use.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
To clean the bath seat, wash it with soap and water or a mild detergent,
then rinse. Ensure that the bath seat is rinsed well before use.

Silla para bañera y ducha Ensamblaje
Esta silla para bañera y ducha puede utilizarse con
o sin espaldar, en función de sus necesidades y
nivel de comodidad.
Ensamblaje del asiento y los marcos:
1. Localice el marco de la pata (A), el marco de la
pata (B), el asiento (C) y una de las perillas de
tornillo corto (H).
2. Ponga el asiento al revés sobre una superficie
plana y seca.
3. Ponga los marcos de las patas en forma de
“X” sobre la parte inferior del asiento, haciendo
coincidir la A y B en el marco de la pata con la
A y B en la parte inferior del asiento, como se
muestra a continuación. El marco de la pata
(B) debe estar bajo el marco de la pata (A)
(figura 1).
4. Fije las patas al asiento insertando la perilla
del tornillo más corto a través de los agujeros
centrales de los marcos de las patas y del
asiento y gire la perilla en sentido de las
agujas del reloj hasta que quede apretada.

INSTALACIÓN DE LAS EXTENSIONES DE LAS PATAS
1. Localice las cuatro extensiones de las patas (D).
2. Fije la extensión de las patas presionando el botón de ajuste de la altura,
inserte una extensión de las patas en el marco de la pata, y muévala a la
posición de la altura deseada hasta que haga “clic” en su lugar (figura 2).
3. Asegúrese de que los botones de ajuste de la altura de todas las patas
sobresalgan completamente de los orificios de ajuste y de que las patas
se encuentren a la misma altura (figura 2).
Nota: Los números junto a los orificios de ajuste indican la altura. Asegúrese que
los cuatro botones de ajuste estén fijos en el mismo número.

COLOCACIÓN DEL MARCO DEL ESPALDAR:
1. Coloque la silla al revés sobre una mesa. Tenga en cuenta la dirección de la
flecha en la parte inferior del asiento. Esta apunta alejándose del espaldar
indicando la parte delantera del asiento.
2. Localice las 4 perillas de tornillos largos (G).
3. Alinee los marcos del espaldar (F) con los cuatro agujeros del asiento (que se
encuentran debajo de los orificios del marco) presentes en cada esquina del
mismo, en la posición deseada (figura 3). Nota: El marco del espaldar se puede
ajustar verticalmente. Ver el recuadro A más abajo.
4. Ahora fije el marco del espaldar (F), de manera que quede flojo, al asiento
mediante la inserción de 1 perilla de tornillo largo (G) a través de cada uno de
los siguientes: orificio del marco del espaldar, orificio del marco de la pata, y
orificio en la esquina del asiento (figura 3). A continuación gire las perillas de los
tornillos en sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta estén ligeramente apretadas.
Éstas se deberán apretar completamente después de que se fije el espaldar.

COLOCACIÓN DEL ESPALDAR:
1. Localice las 4 perillas de tornillos cortos restantes (H).
2. Alinee los orificios del marco del espaldar con el espaldar (E) (figura 4).
3. Fije el marco del espaldar al espaldar introduciendo las 4 perillas de tornillos
cortos (H) a través de cada orificio y girándolas en sentido de las agujas
del reloj hasta que queden apretadas (figura 4).
4. Gire el asiento al revés de nuevo y apriete firmemente las perillas de los
tornillos del marco del espaldar situadas debajo del asiento.

ENSAMBLAJE SIN EL ESPALDAR:
1. Localice las 5 perillas de tornillos cortos (H).
2. Siga las instrucciones; Ensamblaje del asiento y los marcos e Instalación de
las extensiones de las patas, que se encuentran en las páginas 3 a 5 de este
manual.
3. Alinee los marcos de las patas con los cuatro orificios del asiento en cada
esquina del mismo (figura 5).
4. Fije las patas al asiento mediante la inserción de las perillas de tornillos cortos
(H) a través de los orificios del marco de la pata y los agujeros de cada esquina
del asiento. Gire las perillas en sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta que queden
apretadas (figura 5).
5. Guarde el espaldar y los 4 tornillos largos (G) con este manual para uso futuro.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
Para limpiar la silla para bañera, lávela con agua y jabón o un detergente
suave, luego enjuáguela. Asegúrese de que la silla para bañera esté bien
enjuagada antes de usarla.
