Wells WB-1 Reference manual

WB-1 and WB-2 waffle bakers maufactured after Jan 1, 2008 use a
solid state system for temperature control. Also, heating elements
have been configured to conform to the latest UL requirements.

Model WB-1 and WB-2

• Kits #507582 and #507584
retrofit existing mechanical
thermostat units to the new
solid state temperature
control.
Kit #507582 will retrofit a
single WB-1
Kit # 507584 will retrofit one
side of a WB-2
• Upgraded elements are
available individually as
p/n 507277. Elements include
new insulators and terminal
screws.
IMPORTANT:
Use only the included terminal
screws. DO NOT attempt to
use substitute screws to
connect power leads to the
new elements.
NOTE:
Upgraded heating elements are
only necessary in the event of
element failure.
UL listing remains valid for
equipment manufactured prior to
Jan. 1, 2008. However, old-style
elements are no longer available
as replacement parts.
