Sicherheitshinweise
Überzeugen Sie sich, dass die Netzspannung mit den Anga-
ben auf dem Typenschild übereinstimmt.
Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten dürfen das Gerät nicht benutzen, es sei
denn sie werden durch eine Betreuerin/einen Betreuer beauf-
sichtigt und unterwiesen.
Lassen Sie das eingeschaltete Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt.
Erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit ist erforderlich, wenn das Gerät im
Beisein oder in der Nähe von Kindern verwendet wird.

Halten Sie alle Teile des Gerätes unbedingt sauber, da sie mit
Lebensmitteln in Berührung kommen.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten ein. Sollten das Gerät oder der Stecker nass
werden unterbrechen Sie sofort die Stromzufuhr und lassen
Sie das Gerät durch eine Fachkraft überprüfen, bevor Sie es
weiter nutzen. Öffnen Sie das Gerät niemals selbst.
Führen Sie nie Besteckteile oder andere metallische Gegen-
stände in den Rost ein.
Beachten Sie bitte zur Vermeidung von Fehlfunktionen,
Schäden und gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen

Vorsicht, der Rost wird während des Betriebes sehr heiß. Es
besteht Verbrennungsgefahr!
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen, in feuchter
Umgebung oder wenn das Gerät selbst nass ist. Berühren Sie
den Stecker nicht mit feuchten oder nassen Händen.
Führen Sie das Kabel nicht über scharfe Kanten und halten
Sie es von heißen Oberflächen oder offenen Flammen (z. B.
Gasherden) fern. Zum Herausziehen des Netzsteckers ziehen
Sie bitte nur am Stecker selbst, niemals am Kabel.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien.
Wenn Sie das Gerät reinigen oder nicht benutzen ziehen Sie
immer den Netzstecker. Tragen Sie das Gerät niemals am
Netzkabel.
Toasten Sie niemals Brot, das in Aluminium oder Plastik
verpackt ist.
ACHTUNG: Brot kann brennen. Betreiben Sie den Toaster
niemals unter oder nahe an Vorhängen oder anderen brennba-
ren Materialien.
Decken Sie das Gerät nie ab, so lange es in Betrieb ist.
Stellen Sie das Gerät während des Betriebs auf einer ebenen,
hitzefesten Fläche auf. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasch-
becken, auf ein Abtropfblech oder auf schräge Flächen. Ach-
ten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel nicht herunterhängt oder den
Toaster während des Betriebes berührt.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht mehr, falls es heruntergefallen
ist oder in irgendeiner anderen Form beschädigt worden ist. Im
Falle einer Beschädigung wenden Sie sich an unsere Kunden-
betreuung oder eine Fachkraft.
Zerlegen Sie das Gerät nicht und unternehmen Sie keine
Reparaturversuche. Das Gerät enthält keine durch Sie zu re-
parierenden Teile.

Benutzung
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Dieses Gerät ist vorgesehen für das Auftauen und Rösten von
Brotscheiben, Brötchen und Toast für den häuslichen Gebrauch.
Es ist nicht vorgesehen für die Verwendung mit anderen Lebensmit-
teln oder anderen Materialien und auch nicht zur Verwendung in
gewerblichen oder industriellen Bereichen.
Jede darüber hinausgehende Verwendung oder eigenmächtig
Veränderung (Umbau, kein Original-Zubehör) können erhebliche
Gefahren auslösen und gelten als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Vor der ersten Benutzung
Nehmen Sie das Gerät und das Zubehör aus der Verpackung. Halten
Sie die Verpackungsmaterialien von Kleinkindern fern. Es besteht
Erstickungsgefahr!
Reinigen Sie vor dem ersten Einsatz alle Teile des Gerätes, wie im
Kapitel „Reinigung“ angegeben.
Betreiben Sie den Toaster vor dem ersten Gebrauch mindestens
einmal ohne Brot auf voller Leistung, um die Heizdrähte zu reinigen.
Danach ist der Toaster einsatzbereit.
Berühren Sie den Rost nicht während der Toaster in Betrieb ist. Der
Rost wird im Betrieb sehr heiß!
Toastbrot/Brot toasten
1. Schließen Sie den Toaster ans Stromnetz an und stellen Sie mit
dem Bräunungsstufenregler (7) ein, wie lange das Röstgut getoastet
werden soll. Die Stufe 1 entspricht dabei der kürzesten Zeit. Bei
Stufe 7 wird das Röstgut am längsten getoastet. Bitte beachten Sie,
dass gefrorenes, trockenes und frisches Brot verschiedene Toast-
zeiten benötigen.
Achtung: Lassen Sie dünne Brotscheiben nicht zu lange toasten.
Das Brot könnte brennen.
2. Stecken Sie das Röstgut in den Röstschlitz (2) des Toasters.
3. Drücken Sie den Einschalthebel (3) nach unten. Die LED an der
Ausschalttaste CANCEL (4) leuchtet auf. Der Toaster beginnt zu
heizen.

Benutzung
4. Nach der eingestellten Zeit schaltet sich der Toaster automatisch ab.
Sie können den Toaster auch jederzeit durch Drücken der Stopp-
taste CANCEL (4) vorzeitig abschalten.
Vorsicht: Das Röstgut ist nach dem Toasten sehr heiß. Verbren-
nungsgefahr!
Auftau-Funktion
1. Stecken Sie das gefrorene Röstgut in den Röstschlitz (2) des
Toasters.
2. Drücken Sie den Einschalthebel (3) nach unten.
3. Verwenden Sie die Auftautaste DEFROST (6), um gefrorene Brot-
oder Toastbrotscheiben aufzutauen.
Brötchenaufsatz verwenden
1. Stecken Sie den Brötchenaufsatz (1) auf den Toaster.
2. Legen Sie die Brötchen auf den Aufsatz. Drücken Sie den Ein-
schalthebel (3) nach unten. Die LED der Stopptaste CANCEL (4)
leuchtet auf.
Hinweis: Die Brötchen sollten während des Aufwärmens gedreht
werden.
Aufwärmfunktion
Verwenden Sie die Aufwärmfunktion, um bereits getoastete Brot- oder
Toastbrotscheiben, welche abgekühlt sind, für eine kurze Zeit wieder
aufzuwärmen. Bei dieser Funktion ist der Heizzeitraum geringer als bei
der normalen Toastfunktion. Drücken Sie hierzu die Aufwärmtaste
REHEAT (5).
Entfernen von Krümeln
Krümel sammeln sich unten im Krümelfach (8). Leeren Sie das Krümel-
fach regelmäßig. Ziehen Sie es dazu einfach aus dem Toaster heraus.

Benutzung
Reinigung und Lagerung
Trennen Sie vor dem Reinigen und der Lagerung immer erst den
Netzstecker von der Stromversorgung. Ziehen Sie den Stecker nicht
am Kabel aus der Steckdose, sondern erfassen Sie den Stecker.
Reinigen Sie das Gerät von außen mit einem trockenen oder leicht
befeuchteten Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Chemikalien
oder Scheuermittel.
Leeren Sie das Krümelfach regelmäßig.
Lagern Sie den Toaster im Innenbereich an einem trockenen, vor
Staub, Schmutz und extremen Temperaturen geschützten Ort. La-
gern Sie den Toaster außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.

Safety Notes
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the
appliance.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are
not allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised and
briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Be
very careful when the appliance is used in the presence of
children.
The device is not intended for continuous professional opera-
tion. The device is intended to be used in closed rooms only
and in similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses;
by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environ-
ments; bed and breakfast type environments. The use in any
other way is not considered as intended use.
Keep all parts of the appliance clean at all times as they come
into direct contact with food.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. If
the appliance or the plug accidentally should become wet,
disconnect the power cord immediately and have the appli-
ance checked by an electrician before using it again. Never
attempt to open the appliance yourself.
Never put any metallic objects into the grille openings of the
appliance.
Be careful, the top grille will become very hot during use.
Do not operate the appliance with wet hands, on a damp floor
or when the appliance itself is wet. Do not touch the power
plug with wet hands.
Do not allow the cable to hang over sharp edges and keep it
well away from hot objects and open flames (e.g. gas oven).
Please note the following safety notes to avoid mal-
functions, damage or physical injury:

Remove the plug from the socket only by pulling on the plug,
never on the cord.
Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Always remove the plug from the power socket when the
appliance is not in use and before cleaning it. Never use the
cable to carry the appliance.
Do not toast bread slices which are wrapped in aluminium or
plastic foils.
CAUTION: Bread can burn. Never use the toaster near or
underneath curtains or other flammable materials.
Never cover the appliance during use.
Place the appliance on a level surface during use. Do not
place the appliance in a sink, on a drip board or on any in-
clined surface. Do not allow the cable to hang down or to touch
the toaster during use.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or otherwise
damaged or if the cable or plug are damaged. In case of dam-
age, contact our customer support department or a profes-
sional.
Do not disassemble the appliance and do not try to repair it
yourself. The appliance does not contain parts serviceable by
you.

Operation
Intended Use
The device is designed to defrost or toast slices of bread, buns and
toast for domestic purpose only.
It is not designed for processing other kinds of food or other objects.
It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
Any further use or unauthorised changes (reconstruction, no original
accessories) can lead to significant danger and are meant to be not
in accordance with regulations.
Before first Use
Remove the appliance and the accessory out of the packaging. Keep
packaging materials out of reach of children. Risk of suffocation!
Clean all parts of the appliance before using for the first time, as
described in the chapter „Cleaning“.
Before first use operate the toaster at least once on maximum heat
without using any bread in order to clean the heater elements. Thereaf-
ter your toaster is ready to use.
Never touch the top grille during operation. It becomes very hot when
the appliance is in use.
Toasting Toast/Bread
1. Connect the power cable to the power mains and use the toast
setting knob (7) to set the desired degree of browning. Setting 1
represents the shortest roasting time while stage 7 represents the
longest roasting time. Please note that frozen, dry and fresh bread
require different toasting times.
Caution: Do not toast thin slices of bread for a long time. The bread
can burn.
2. Put the roasting product into the roasting slot (2) of the toaster.
3. Press down the ON lever (3). The LED close to the CANCEL button
(4) lights up and the toaster starts heating.
4. After the set time, the toaster automatically turns off. The toaster can
be turned off prematurely at any time by pressing the CANCEL but-
ton (4).
Caution: Roasted products are very hot after toasting. There is a
risk of burns!

Operation
Defrost Function
1. Put the frozen roasting product into the roasting slot (2) of the
toaster.
2. Press down the ON lever (3).
3. Use the DEFROST button (6) to defrost frozen slices of bread or
toast.
Using the Bun Warming Rack
1. Place the bun warming rack (1) on top of the toaster.
2. Place the buns on the rack. Press down the ON lever (3). The LED
of the CANCEL button (4) lights up.
Note: During warming up the buns, the buns should be flipped from
time to time.
Reheat Function
Use the reheat function to reheat cooled down slices of toasted
bread/toast for a short period of time. Using this function, the heating
time is shorter than the one of the standard toast function. Press the
REHEAT button (5) to start reheating.
Crumb Removal
Crumbs are collected in the crumb tray (8). Remove the crumbs in
regular intervals. The crumb tray can be pulled out of the toaster to the
side for cleaning.
Cleaning and Storing
Before cleaning or storing the toaster unplug the toaster. Do not pull
the cable but grasp the plug itself to unplug.
Clean the outside housing with a dry or lightly moistened cloth. Do
not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives.
Empty the crumb tray in regular intervals.
Store the device indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust,
dirt and extreme temperatures. Store the device out of reach of
children.

Informazioni sulla sicurezza
Utilizzare l'apparecchio con le mani bagnate, in un ambiente
umido o quando l'apparecchiatura è bagnato. Non toccare la
spina con le mani bagnate.
Eseguire il cavo su spigoli vivi lontano e tenerlo lontano da
superfici calde o fiamme libere (come ad esempio stufe a gas).
Per staccare la spina solo staccare la spina e non il cavo.
Non utilizzare l'apparecchio all'aperto.
Se lo pulite o non usare sempre scollegare il cavo di alimenta-

Non si può mai tostare il pane, che viene confezionato in
