SAFETY INFORMATION
1. Read all instructions carefully and keep this manual for future
reference.
2. Do not let the appliance touch any hot surfaces.
3. To avoid electric shock, do not place the cord, the plug or the
appliance in water or other liquids.
4. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or
near children.
5. Unplug the fan from the socket when not in use and before
cleaning.
6. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance has malfunctioned or has been damaged
in any manner. Return the appliance to our customer service
center for inspection.
7. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter,
nor touch hot surfaces. Do not place the appliance on an
unsteady or cloth-covered surface.
8. Please first check the power cord & the plug to confirm that
they look normal and check the housing for any signs of cracks
or damages.
9. When you are going to move the fan or when it is not in use,
please turn it off and unplug it.
10. Do not use the fan in high humidity areas, in temperatures
higher than 40°C or in dusty areas.
11. While the fan is in operation, do not insert any fingers or other
objects into the fan. Pay special attention to children.
12. Please do not allow the fan to directly blow air at elderly
persons, children or patients over an extended period.
13. To prevent damage to the plastic material, do not spray any

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug, if it still
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not modify the plug in any way.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR DEFEAT THIS

BATTERY
WARNING – CHEMICAL BURN AND CHOKING HAZARD. KEEP
BATTERIES AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
This product contains a lithium button/ coin cell battery in the
remote control unit. If a new or used lithium button/ coin battery
is swallowed or enters the body, it can cause severe internal burns
and can lead to death in as little as 2 hours. Always completely
secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does
not close securely, stop using the remote control unit. Remove the
batteries, and keep it away from children. If you think batteries
might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body,
seek immediate medical attention.
CAUTION
• Do not install backwards or short circuit the batteries.
• Do not attempt to dismantle or charge the batteries. Keep
away from fire.
• Follow battery manufacturers instructions when installing new
batteries.
• The cells shall be disposed of properly, including keeping them
away from children; even used cells may cause injury.

USER SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord.
A. Open fuse cover by sliding access cover
on top of attachment plug towards plug
blades.
B. Remove fuse carefully by gently pulling
out the ends of the fuse from the
receptacle. Risk of fire. Replace fuse only
with 2.5 or 5 amp, 125 Volt fuse.
C. Install replacement fuse by first placing
the end of the fuse into the fuse
receptacle which is opposite of the blades
of the plug, then carefully push in the
other end. Only push against the metal
end of the fuse, the glass center portion.
D. Close fuse cover by sliding the cover back
into the plug until it is completely closed
and latches.
RISK OF FIRE. Do not replace attachment plug. It contains a
safety device (fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if
the attachment plug is damaged.
NOTE: Neither Westinghouse nor the dealer can accept any liability for
damage to the product or personal injury resulting from failure to observe
the electrical connection procedures.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
After connecting the tower fan to the power supply (120V AC, 60
Hz outlet), you can operate it with the control panel (4) or remote
control buttons.
Button Functions
Press to turn the fan on or off.
Press to adjust the fan speed (low, mid, high and
turbo).
Press to change the fan to different working modes
(normal, natural, sleeping).
Each press will increase the working time timer of the
fan for one hour (from 1 hour to 7 hours).
Note: If no timer is set, the fan will turn off after 7
consecutive hours of operation. The automatic shut-off
time starts to elapse from your last operation.
Press to start or stop oscillating the fan left and right.
Press to start or stop oscillating the fan up and down.
Status of the light indicators
The light indicators will show you the current status of wind speed,
working mode and timer.
