BEFOREFIRSTUSE
Functions
Inordertoremoveanyprotectivesubstancesontheheatingelements,itis
necessarytoruntheovenemptyfor20minutes.Ensuretheareaiswellventilated
astheovenmayemitvapors.Thesevaporsaresafeandarenotdetrimentaltothe
performanceoftheoven.
1. Removeandsafelydiscardanypackingmaterial,promotionallabelsandtape
fromtheoven.
2. Removethepizzastonefromitspackagingandplacethepizzastoneinthe
ovencavity.
3. Wipetheinterioroftheovenwithasoft,dampsponge.
4. Placetheovenonaclean,flat,stablesurface.Clearthespacebeforemoving
yourovenintoposition.Removeanyflammableobjectsandmaterials,
includingtablecloths.Thinkaboutventilationwhenchoosingasuitableplace

foryouroven.Veryhighcookingtemperaturescansometimescausefood
toburn,whichcanproducesmoke.Ensurethereisaminimumdistanceof4"
(10cm)ofspaceonbothsidesoftheovenand6"(15cm)above.
5. Unwindthepowercordcompletelyandinsertthepowerplugintoagrounded
poweroutlet.

lightlydampclothtowipetheovenbody.Drywithacleantowelrightaway.
• Letallsurfacesdrythoroughlypriortoinsertingthepowerplugintoapower
outletandturningtheovenon.

oven.

1. DONOTusethepizzastoneoveranopenflame.
2. Avoidextremetemperaturechangetothestone.DONOTplacefrozenfoods
ontothestoneifusingtemperaturesinexcessof350°F.
3. Thestoneisfragileandcanbreakifbumpedordropped.
4. Thestoneisveryhotduringuseandstayshotforalongtimeafteruse.
5. DONOTcoolthestonewithwateroruseitwhendamp.
6. Tocleanoburnedfoodmarks,waituntilthestoneiscool,usetwohandsto
carefullytakeitoutoftheoven,removeanylooseorlargedebris,thenflipit
overandslideitgentlybackin.Thedebrisontheundersideofthestonewill
burnawaythenexttimeyouuseyourappliance.
7. Ifyourstonebreaks:Turnyouroveno,letitcoolandunplugitbeforeyou
removethebrokenbakingstone.
