Improper use may lead to hazards.
4. This device is designed for household use only.
SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
The body analysis weighing mode, called Bioelectrical
Impedance Analysis (BIA), which is used by this scale,
determines your body fat proportion by transferring a
harmless signal all the way through your body.
This scale provides body analysis measures for a
majority of people, but people with the following
condition should never use this scale under Body
Analysis Weighing Mode:
• Pregnant women
• Those with symptoms of edema
• Those on dialysis treatment
• Those who use heart pacemakers or other
implanted medical devices
1. Do not exceed the scale’s maximum capacity.
Overloading your scale can permanently damage
it!
2. Avoid exposure to extreme heat or cold. Scales
perform best at normal room temperature.
3. Store your scale in a clean, dry location. Dust, dirt,
and moisture can accumulate on the weighing
sensors and electronics causing inaccuracy or
malfunction.
4. Avoid using your scale in close proximity to strong
radio wave emitting devices such as computers,
cash registers, and cordless phones.
5. Always weigh on a flat and level surface, free from
vibrations and drafts. The corner of a room is
usually the most stable.
6. Gently apply all items to be weighed. Do not drop
items onto the weighing platform.
7. Avoid dropping your scale.
8. Check the batteries rst if you are having any
trouble with your scale. This simple step can
remedy most scale issues.
9. Do not disassemble your scale. This product
contains no user serviceable parts.
10. Do not step on the scale with wet feet.
BEFORE FIRST USE

2. Check the packaging contents for completeness
and damages. Should the contents in the
packaging not be complete or be damaged, do
not use the device. Return it to your retail outlet
immediately.

Your device works on two 1.5V AAA batteries.
1. Open battery compartment cover at the back of
the scale.
2. Install 2 AAA batteries in the battery compartment.
Pay attention to the correct battery polarity.
3. Replace the cover.

To avoid damage to your device due to battery
leakage, remove the battery after use if you do
not expect to use the appliance for another month
or more and do not leave a weak battery in the
appliance.

You may select the measurement unit among
kilogram, stone and pound.

USING THE ELECTRONIC BATHROOM SCALE
Weighting mode

measurements.
2. Stand on the scales with both feet. The device
switches on automatically.
3. Distribute your weight equally and wait for the
scale to determine your weight.
4. Once weight is stabilized digits will ash and lock
in.
• In order to extend the battery life, the device will
automatically turn off 12 seconds after you have
stepped off the scale.
• If there is no weight determination while “0.0” is
shown, the scale will shut off automatically after 12

Body Analysis Weighing Mode
Scale indicates body fat, hydration, muscle, bone and
daily calorie intake under this mode
NOTE:
• It is important to remove your shoes and socks
before stepping on the scale especially when
you are using the scale in body analysis weighing
mode. Assure that your feet are well positioned on
the platform; otherwise the scale will not be able
to determine your body composition.

they have a bad conductivity. If necessary wipe
the contact surfaces with a moist towel to improve
results. DO NOT step on the scale with wet feet.
1. Step onto the scale BAREFOOT and press the SET
button. Use the or to select the user number
which your data is saved. The number flashes for
approx. 3 seconds. Then the symbol of the gender
and the previously selected weight unit (0.0 kg /
0.0 lb / 0:00 st:lb) appear.
2. Stand still and make sure the balls of your feet
cover both sides of the contact surfaces.
3. Firstly your weight will flash on the display. The
analysis starts after the display has stopped
flashing. Remain on the scales until the last display
(KCAL) has appeared.
• The following results are displayed one by one:
a. The body fat proportion in % (FAT) and the
rating
b. The proportion of body fluid % (WATER)
c. The proportion of muscle mass in % (MUSCLE)
d. The bone weight in % (BONE)
e. The basal metabolic rate of the daily energy
requirement in KCAL
4. The determined data will be shown repeatedly.
Then the scale will automatically turn off.
