●Additional items required for fitment:
Small step-ladder
Tape measure
First Time Installation
●Remove parts from inside the package and
check. Contact your dealer if any parts are
missing or damaged.
●This kit fits type A, B, C and D.
●These instructions show type B crossbar
fitted. They also apply to type A, C and D.

●Use keys to remove covers.
●Use hex screwdriver to reverse adjusting
screw 10 turns.
●1 = Bar
2 = Leg
3 = Foot
4 = Clamp Block

●A = Security Screw
B = Adjusting Screw
C = Locking Screw
●Remove plastic clamp block by gripping bar
leg with fingers and push firmly with
thumbs until clamp block drops out behind
leg.
●Remove both pins from each leg. Use
tapered end of spanner located inside left
hand cover to assist.

●Detach foot from leg. Store loose parts in a
safe place.
●Attach foot from fitting kit, to crossbar leg.
●Note: There is a left hand and right hand
side.
●Foot to sit in position shown.
●Ensure foot interlocks with leg.

●Press foot down while tightening centre
screw with hex key.
●NOTE: Clamp must be fully open to access
centre screw.
●Tighten firmly (3Nm).
●Use two M5 x 12 mm self tapping screws to
secure the assembly onto the leg.
●Lightly tighten (1Nm) self-tapping screws,
so screw heads are just touching side of
leg.
●Repeat for all legs.
●If rubber pads become loose or detached,
press firmly into place as shown.
●Refer to the inside curve of the pad for the
part number.

●Letters refer to the pad part numbers and
position.
●It is important to put the pads in the correct
position on the vehicle.
●Pad Part Number:
A = 00-04-272
B = 00-04-273
Fitment
●Adjust crossbar in or out to suit vehicle.
Refer to the crossbar instructions for
crossbar adjustment.
●Ensure that the crossbar is adjusted evenly
at both ends.
●Locate vehicle's fixed points on inside of
rail.

●Ensure the pins of the clamps engage
correctly with the holes in the roof rail.
●Rotate clamp to engage one pin in fix-point
hole. Downward pressure may have to be
applied to crossbar to assist. Second pin
will engage as adjusting screw is tightened.
●Ensure pad is tight against outside of rail
before tightening.
●Firmly tighten (3 Nm) adjusting screw.
●Once crossbars are in position, alternately
tighten clamp screws firmly (5Nm) to the
rail using 5mm hex driver.

●Correctly installed crossbars. Side rails
may vary to those pictured.
●Ensure that all legs clamp securely to the
roof rails.
●Check crossbar is securely attached to the
vehicle.
●Use keys to fit and lock covers
CAUTION: Recheck all fasteners immediately after
a load is applied to the crossbars.
Regularly check screws are tight.
