ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
ALL USERS OF THIS APPLIANCE MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THE OWNER’S MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING
ORCLEANING THISAPPLIANCE.
The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 120V AC electrical outlet only.
Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately release pressure on the juicing cone
to turn thethe juicer off, then unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair themalfunctioning
appliance.
If this appliance becomes immersed in water, unplug it immediately.
DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER!
Do not use this appliance after it has been immersed in water.
To reduce the risk of injury to persons or property, never use this appliance in an unstable position.
Do not use this appliance for other than its intended use.
NOTES ON THE PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
NOTES ON THE CORD
A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce risks from tangling
or tripping over.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care
isexercised in their use.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) the marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should
be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
2) if the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord; and
3) the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where
itcan be pulled by children or tripped over.
PLASTICIZER WARNING
CAUTION: To prevent plasticizers from migrating to the finish of the countertop or tabletop or other furniture,
place NON–PLASTIC coasters or place mats between the appliance and the surface. Failure to do so may cause
the finish to permanently darken, blemish or stain.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly.
Itshouldbe operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Read all operating instructions carefully.
Carefully unpack the juicer and parts. Remove all packaging materials and any labels from theouter
surfaces.
Place on a level surface such as a countertop or table.
Wash the storage lid, large and small cones, upper and lower sieves, and juice container in warm,
soapy water.
CAUTION: To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the power base or allow cord tocome into
contact with water or other liquids.
JUICER ASSEMBLY
Place the power base on a flat, clean work area close to an electrical outlet.
Plug the power-supply cord into a 120V AC electrical wall outlet.
Fit the juice container over the base stem. (See Figure 2)
Turn container counterclockwise until it drops down and locks securely onto the power base.
(See Figure 3)
Lock both sieves together. Fit the lower sieve up into the upper sieve. Align the pulp button with
thehandle cover and push firmly until the lower sieve snaps into position.
Add the sieves to the top of the juice container. Fit the handle cover over the juice container handle
andposition the upper/lower sieves inside the lip of the juice container. (See Figure 4)
IMPORTANT: The small cone must ALWAYS be installed. NEVER try to use the large cone without the small
cone in position.
Use the small cone for fruits such as lemons, limes and small tangerines. Fit the small cone over the
juice container’s center stem, turn and press down until the cone drops down and locks intoposition.

Use the large cone for oranges or grapefruits. Fit
the notches on the large cone over the stirrers on
the small cone until the 2pieces snap together.
(See Figure 5)
Attach the correct sized cone(s) to the juicer. Drop
the cone(s) onto the center stem until they rest on
top of the sieves. (See Figure 6)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Adjust the pulp control according to the desired amount
of pulp (1 to 5) in your juice. (See Figure 7)
NOTE: Wash fruit and zest before juicing.
2. Cut citrus fruit in half, laterally.
3. Depending on the size of the fruit,
set the self-reversing cone(s) on top of the sieves.
Center the cut side of the fruit over the top
of the self-reversing cone.
4. Press cut fruit down with adequate pressure. (See Figure 8)
The cone(s) rotate for juicing to begin. IMPORTANT: When pressure
is released, the juicer will turn off.
5. Press fruit down again and the cone(s) will rotate
in the reverse direction. IMPORTANT: For best results,
repeatsteps 4 and 5 several times.
6. Remove and discard used peels.
7. To continue juicing, rinse sieves and change cones, if needed.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 several times.
8. When finished, remove and discard used peels. Unplug the power-supply cord from theelectrical outlet.
9. Lift the upper and lower sieves up and off the base stem. Grasp the juice container handle in one
hand and the power base in the other. Turn the juice container counterclockwise to unlock, then lift up
andoffthe power base.

USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring
disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance repair technician.
CARE & CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION: Never immerse the power base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
Always unplug before cleaning.
To disassemble: Pull cone(s) up and off the juice
container’s center stem. Separate cones for washing.
Lift the handle cover up to remove the upper/lower sieves
from the juice container.
To unlock the sieves, firmly press on the pulp button
while pulling the tab from the center to separate the
lower sieve from the upper sieve. (See Figure 9)
Grasp the juice container handle in one hand,
andthepower base in the other. Turn the juice container
counterclockwise to unlock, then lift up and off
thepowerbase.
Always rinse juicing cones, upper and lower sieves,
and juice container in warm, soapy water after every use.
Use a soft kitchen brush to clean pulp from the upper
andlower sieves.
The storage lid, both juicing cones, upper and lower sieves, and juice container are top-rack
dishwashersafe.
Wipe the power base and base stem with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE POWER BASE IN WATER.
STORING INSTRUCTIONS
Unplug and clean unit.
Assemble the juicer following the detailed procedures outlined in the Juicer Assembly section above.
Add the storage lid to keep it dust-free.
Never store the appliances while plugged in.
Wrap the cord in the cord storage area on the bottom of the base.
Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress on the cord, especially where the
cord enters the power base, as this could cause fraying and breaking.
Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.

RECIPES
CLASSIC PINK LEMONADE
Make this classic drink the natural way without food coloring or artificial flavors.
1 lemon, sliced
Juice from 5 lemons
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups cranberry juice
5 cups filtered water
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and chill until ready to serve.
Serves 4.
WARM LEMON & CAYENNE DETOX
Juice from 1 lemon
2 tsp. honey
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
4 cups hot water
Combine the lemon juice, honey and spices. Store covered in the fridge until ready to use. To serve, pour
1/4 ofthelemon mixture into a mug. Top up with hot water. Enjoy.
Serves 4.
SWEET SOUTHERN ORANGEADE
A sweeter alternative to lemonade. Great for picnics and outdoor barbecues.
Juice from 6 large oranges
1/4 cup sugar
3 cups filtered water
Combine all ingredients, stir and chill until ready to serve.
Serves 2.
REHYDRATING DRINK
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 Tbs. honey or maple syrup
1/8 tsp. sea salt
2 cups coconut water or regular filtered water
Combine all ingredients, stir and serve.

HOMEMADE CITRUS JUICE
Juice from 10 mandarins
Juice from 5 oranges
Juice from 1 grapefruit
Juice from 1 lemon and 1 lime
Agave syrup, honey or maple syrup, to taste
(optional)
Combine all citrus juices. Sweeten to taste.
Serves 3.
RUBY RED GRAPEFRUIT GIN FIZZ COCKTAIL
This sparkling drink has a refreshing zing.
Juice from 2 Ruby Red grapefruits
1 1/2 cups seltzer water
2 Tbs. Campari
1/2 cup gin
Ice cubes
1 grapefruit, cut into thin wedges for garnish
Stir grapefruit juice, seltzer, Campari and gin together in a pitcher. Fill 4 glasses with ice and addthecocktail
mixture. Garnish with grapefruit wedges.
Serves 4.
MINTY SPARKLING ORANGE LEMONADE
Easy to make, not too sweet, and not too tangy.
Juice from 5 lemons
4 sprigs of fresh mint
Juice from 10 oranges
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
7 cups sparkling water
Ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher, stir and chill until ready to serve.
Serves 6.
LEMON DILL SALAD DRESSING
A tangy salad dressing that goes great alongside seafood dishes.
Juice from 1 lemon
3 Tbs. Dijon mustard
1 tsp honey
1 medium clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
1⁄8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup canola oil
2 Tbs. fresh dill, chopped
Whisk together the lemon juice, mustard, honey, garlic, salt and pepper until combined. Slowly whisk
inthecanola oil until thick and creamy. Add dill and stir well. Refrigerate until ready to use.
