Das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Winora Group Bike
Manual, die Original Betriebsanleitung,
(siehe Abb.
rechts) enthält alle wichtigen allgemeinen
Informationen zur Montage, Wartung und Pflege von
Winora Fahrrädern.
Es enthält jedoch nicht alle spezifischen
Informationen für das Lastenrad WINORA LOAD.
Diese Broschüre soll daher eine Ergänzung zur
Winora Group Original Betriebsanleitung darstellen
und Informationen zum bestimmungsgemäßen
Gebrauch und zur Montage spezieller Anbauteile
liefern.
Bitte lesen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch
alle Anleitungen aufmerksam durch und
folgen Sie den Anweisungen.
Bitte achten Sie auf eine fachmännische Montage aller Komponenten. Wir empfehlen
diese von einem (Fahrrad-) Fachhändler bzw. einer anderen fachlich ver
sierten Person
durchführen zu lassen, um eine sachgemäße Funktion des Rades sicherzustellen.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch des WINORA LOAD
Diese Fahrräder sind aufgrund ihrer Konzeption und Ausstattung, z.B. durch ihre Beleuchtungseinrichtung,
dazu bestimmt, auf öffentlichen Straßen und befestigten Wegen eingesetzt zu werden.
Diese Fahrräder sind nicht für die Benutzung im Gelände und nicht für Wettkämpfe gleich welcher Art
geeignet.
Die erforderliche sicherheitstechnische Ausstattung wurde mitgeliefert und muss vom Benutzer oder
Fahrrad-Fachhändler montiert, sowie regelmäßig überprüft und – falls erforderlich – instand gesetzt
werden.
Das zulässige Gesamtgewicht beträgt bei diesen Fahrrädern für Fahrer, Gepäck, Anhängelast
(ungebremst) und Fahrrad zusammen 140 kg.
Für den Gepäckträger gilt immer die max. Gewichtsbelastung, welche auf dem Gepäckträger
vermerkt ist. B
ei den hier verbauten Körben wird eine max. Zuladung von 15kg für den
vorderen Korb und max. 30kg für den hinteren Korb freigegeben.
Sicherheitshinweise!
- Auspacken (aus der Transportverpackung), Montage und Wartung müssen von einem
Fachmann vorgenommen werden.
- Halten Sie Plastiktüten und andere Verpackungen von Kindern und Haustieren fern, um
Gefahren wie z.B. Erstickung vorzubeugen.

Aufgrund der Abmessungen und dem erlaubten Gesamtgewicht wird empfohlen das
Fahrzeug nicht auf weic
hem Sand, Schnee, Schlamm, nassem Gras oder anderen
nicht befestigten Untergründen zu benutzen und abzustellen. Vorsicht: Beim Abstellen
auf schrägen Untergründen besteht Kippgefahr! (siehe auch Kap „Abstellen“)
- Um Unfälle und gefährliche Situationen zu vermeiden sind regelmäßige Inspektionen
und die regelmäßige Wartung notwendig. Dadurch ist gewährleistet, dass sich
sicherheitsrelevante Teile stets in einwandfreiem Zustand befinden (z.B. Räder, Lenkung,
Lenkstangen, Rahmen, Gabel, usw.).
- Das massive Rad is
t durch seine Abmessungen und sein max. zulässige
Gesamtgewicht für Ungeübte nicht leicht zu handhaben
. Daher sollte der Umgang,
gerade mit dem beladenen Rad, vor den ersten Fahrten in einem nicht öffentlichen
Bereich mit viel Platz für Fahrmanöver geübt werden. Das Rad sollte nur mit der Menge
an Zuladung beladen werden, die eine sichere Handhabung gewährleistet. (siehe auch
Kapitel „Hinweise zur Beladung“)

Hinweise zur Beladung
- Bei der Beladung ist auf eine auf die zu befördernde Last abgestimmte Sicherung zu achten. Für
mehrere kleinere lose Teile wäre z.B. ein Netz, für z.B. große Pakete eher Spannriemen geeignet.
- Das Gewicht sollte immer gleichmäßig zu beiden Seiten – links und rechts in Fahrtrichtung – verteilt
werden. Ein einseitiges Beladen kann ebenfalls ein Sicherheitsrisiko sein.
- Die schwereren Lasten gehören nach unten. Leichtere nach oben.
- Die Verteilung der Beladung der Körbe vorne und hinten sollte möglichst immer ausgeglichen sein bzw.
sollte nicht ein Korb voll beladen werden, während der andere leer bleibt. Ein einseitiges Beladen kann
ebenfalls ein Sicherheitsrisiko sein. Besonders mit voller Beladung nur im vorderen Korb.
- Neben der max. zulässigen Zuladung, ist auch die max. Höhe der eingebrachten Güter begrenzt. Für
den vorderen Korb ist die max. Höhe der Beladung so zu wählen, dass die Lenkung nicht beeinträchtigt
wird. Für den hinteren Korb sollte die max. Höhe so gewählt werden, dass eine kontrollierte Fahrt
gewährleistet ist.
- Ladung seitlich über die Korbbreite überstehen lassen ist nicht gestattet. Eine Überbreite könnte zu
gefährlichen Situationen führen, in denen der Fahrer mit der Ladung anstoßen oder hängen bleiben
kann und es somit ggf. sogar zu einem Sturz kommen kann.
- Lässt man Ladung an den Seiten der Körbe herunterhängen, so kann es vorne zu einer Behinderung
der Lenkung kommen. Im schlimmsten Fall kann etwas in die Speichen gelangen, wobei dann ernste
Sturzgefahr besteht!
- Die Ladung des hinteren Korbes sollte das Sitzen auf dem Sattel nicht beeinträchtigen und die
Höhenverstellung der Sattelstütze nicht behindern.
- Es ist darauf zu achten, dass die Menge der Zuladung immer dem Können des Fahrers entspricht.
Fahren mit hohem Ladegewicht muss vor einer Tour auf einem sicheren Platz geübt werden.
Abstellen
- Abstellen, besonders im beladenen Zustand, sollte immer auf ebenem, befestigtem und maximal leicht
geneigtem Untergrund geschehen. Es sollte auf einen sicheren Stand des Rades geachtet werden.
Gerade ein beladenes Rad kann bei ungünstigen Bodenverhältnissen leicht umfallen oder bei zu
starkem Gefälle in Bewegung geraten.
- Achten Sie beim Be- und Entladen und beim Abstellen des Rades auf eine sichere Gewichtsverteilung
der Ladung.
- Ladung eines abgestellten Lastenrades sollte ggf. auch gegen Diebstahl gesichert werden.
- Für eine sichere Funktion sollten regelmäßig alle verschraubten Verbindungen und der Luftdruck der
Reifen kontrolliert werden. Dies sollte von fachkundigem Personal übernommen werden.

care of Winora bikes.
However, it does not contain all specific information
on the WINORA LOAD bike.
This brochure is complementary to the Winora Group
original manual and provides
information on the
proper use and mounting of specific components.
Please carefully read and follow the manual
and all instructions before use
Please mind the expert assembly of all components. We recommend having it done by a
(bike) dealer and/or another technically adept person in order to ensure the proper function
of the bike.

Intended use of WINORA LOAD
These bikes are intended to be used on public and paved roads due to their conception for instance their
lighting.
They are not suitable for off-road use or competitions of any kind.
The required safety equipment has been delivered and has to be mounted by the user or bike dealer.
Further, it has to be checked regularly and, if necessary, repaired.
The permitted overall weight for this bike, including rider, load, trailer including load (unbraked)
and the bike itself together is 140kg.
For the carrier, the permitted max. load is always stated on the carrier. The mounted baskets
can bear a load of 15kg in the front and a max. of 30kg in the rear basket.
Safety information!
- Unpacking (the transportation packaging), mounting and maintenance have to be carried
out by a specialist.
- Keep away plastic bags and other packaging from infants and pets in order to prevent
dangers like suffocation.
- Due to the size and the permitted max. load, it is recommended that the vehicle is not
used or parked on soft sand, snow, mud, wet grass and other loose soil. Attention:
When parking it on sloped surfaces, it might fall over. (see also chapter ‘Parking’)

In order to prevent accidents and dangerous situations, regular service and
maintenance is required. Thus, a perfect condition of safety-
relevant components is
ensured (e.g. wheels, steering, handlebar, frame, fork, etc.).
- The massive bike does not have an easy handling for inexperienced users due to its
size and its max. load. Hence, before initial use, it is recommended to practice on a
non-public area with much space. The bike should only be loaded with the permitted
load for secure riding (see also chapter ‘Information on loading’).

Information on loading
- When loading the bike, an appropriate load fastening has to be provided. For several small, loose
packages, a net for instance, would be appropriate. For bigger packages a tension strap is rather
suitable.
- The weight is to be evenly loaded on the left and right side in riding direction. A one-sided loading might
also pose a safety risk.
- Heavy load should be located at the bottom, light load on top.
- Front and rear baskets should be evenly loaded and/or one basket should not be fully loaded while the
other one stays empty. A one-sided loading might also pose a safety risk. It is especially risky with full
load in the front basket.
- Apart from the max. amount of load, the max. load height is also limited. For the front basket this means
that the max. height of load should not influence steering. The height of load in the rear basket should
not endanger controlled riding.
- Load protruding laterally from the basket is not permitted. Excessive width might cause dangerous
situations during which the rider might hit or get caught with the load. This might result in a crash.
- Load hanging down laterally outside the basket might disturb steering. In the worst case, objects might
get caught in the spokes which would ultimately lead to a crash.
- Load in the rear basket should neither affect the riders’ sitting position, nor the height adjustment of the
seat post.
- It is also important that the amount of load has to correspond with the riders biking skill. Riding with high
load has to be practiced before a tour on a safe area.
Parking
- Parking, especially when the bike is loaded, should only take place on even, paved and, at most, only
slightly sloped surfaces. A secure standing of the bike is essential. Especially a loaded bike is likely to
fall over or start to move under unfavourable soil conditions or on sloped roads.
- Mind secure and even load distribution when (un-) loading and parking the bike.
- Load on a parked bike should also be secured against theft.
- For secure function, check the screwed connections and air pressure of the tyres regularly. This should
take place via specialized personnel.

Utilisation conforme des WINORA LOAD
Ces vélos, de par leur conception et leurs équipements, tels que leurs dispositifs d‘éclairage, sont destinés
à une utilisation sur voie publique et chemins stables.
Ces vélos ne sont pas conçus pour une utilisation tout-terrain, ni en compétition.
Les équipements de sécurité recommandés sont livrés avec le vélo et doivent être montés par un
professionnel du cycle ; ils doivent être contrôlés régulièrement par l’utilisateur ou le revendeur, et si
nécessaire, réparés.
Le poids total autorisé, comprenant cycliste, bagages, charge remorquée (non freinée) et vélo,
est de 140 kg.
La charge maximale autorisée d’un porte-bagages est toujours celle indiquée sur celui-ci.
Les paniers montés sur ces vélos ont une charge maximale autorisée de 15kg à l’avant et 30kg
à l’arrière.
Consignes de sécurité !
- Déballage (du carton de transport), montage et entretien doivent être effectués par un
professionnel.
- Maintenir les emballages plastiques et autres hors de portée des enfants et animaux
afin d’écarter tout risque de dangers, comme étouffement, asphyxie.
- En raison des dimensions et du poids total autorisé, il est recommandé
de ne pas
utiliser, ni de stationner le vélo sur du sable, de la neige, de la boue, de l’herbe humide
ou tout autre sol instable. Attention : en cas de stationnement sur une surface inclinée,
le vélo risque de basculer ! (voir chapitre „Stationnement“)
- Pour éviter tout accident ou situation dangereuse, il est nécessaire de procéder à des
contrôles et entretiens réguliers. Ceci garantit le bon état et le bon fonctionnement des
pièces liées à la sécurité (comme roues, cintre, cadre, fourche, etc.).
- En raison de ses dimensions et de son poids total autorisé, ce vélo n’est pas facile à
manœuvrer pour des débutants. Par conséquent, il est conseillé de s’entraîner avant la
première sortie dans des zones non publiques, avec beaucoup d’espace, notamment
lorsqu’il est chargé. Ne pas transporter de charge trop importante, afin de garantir une
manipulation sans danger. (voir chapitre „Conseils de chargement“)

Conseils de chargement
- Lors du chargement, il est convient d’adapter les éléments de sûreté en fonction de la charge
transportée : par exemple, un filet pour le transport de plusieurs petits objets en vrac, des sangles
ou tendeurs pour de gros paquets.
- Le poids doit toujours être réparti uniformément de chaque côté – à gauche et à droite dans le
sens de la marche. Un chargement unilatéral peut être facteur de risque pour votre sécurité.
- Les charges les plus lourdes doivent être transportées en-dessous, les plus légères au-dessus.
- La répartition de charge à l’avant et à l’arrière doit toujours être la plus équilibrée possible ; un
panier ne doit pas rester vide alors que l’autre est plein. Le chargement d’un seul panier,
notamment à l’avant, peut également être facteur de risque pour votre sécurité.
- Outre la charge maximale autorisée, la hauteur des marchandises transportées est également
limitée. Pour le panier avant, il convient de déterminer la hauteur maximale de façon à ne pas
compromettre la direction. Pour le panier arrière, il convient de déterminer la hauteur maximale de
façon à garantir une conduite maîtrisée.
- Il est déconseillé de transporter des marchandises débordant la largeur des paniers. Une largeur
excessive pourrait provoquer des situations dangereuses où le cycliste peut heurter quelqu’un ou
quelque chose avec son chargement ou rester bloqué, et ainsi entraîner une chute.
- Laisser pendre un chargement sur les côtés des paniers peut provoquer une gêne à l’avant, dans
la direction. Dans le pire des cas, quelque chose peut se prendre dans les rayons et causer un
sérieux risque de chute !
- Le chargement du panier arrière ne doit pas gêner la position sur la selle, ni le réglage de la
hauteur de selle.
- La charge transportée doit toujours correspondre aux capacités du cycliste ; il est impératif de
s’exercer au préalable dans un endroit sécurisé avant de transporter une lourde charge.
Stationnement
- Le stationnement, notamment si le vélo est chargé, doit toujours s’effectuer sur un sol stable et le
plus plat possible. Il est nécessaire d’accorder une grande importance à la stabilité du vélo. Sur un
sol aux conditions défavorables, un vélo chargé peut verser, ou bouger si la pente est trop forte.
- Veillez à une bonne répartition du poids des marchandises transportées aussi bien lors du
chargement que du déchargement du vélo, ainsi que lors de son stationnement.
- Le chargement d’un vélo stationné doit être protégé contre le vol.
- Pour assurer un fonctionnement fiable, il est nécessaire de contrôler régulièrement tous les
serrages, ainsi que la pression des pneus. Ceci est à réaliser par des personnes compétentes.
