QUICK START GUIDE

1Install mPCIe MiniCard or mSATA Storage
(A) Slide the MiniCard or mSATA device into the Mini Card slot
on the top of the SBC at a 30° angle.
(B) Secure the device using the two (2) supplied M2 x 4mm
screws.
NOTE: Only mPCIe connector (J9) provides mSATA support.
2Attach USB Peripherals
Attach a keyboard/mouse and/or bootable USB stick to the
USB ports on the front panel of the SBC.
3Video Output
Connect a monitor using a DisplayPort cable to the
DisplayPort connector on the SBC.
4Power Connection
Using the supplied phoenix screw terminal connector, terminate
+10V to +50V DC input on the left side and GND on the right.
5Entering BIOS
After applying power to the SBC35-CC405, press the <F2> key during POST to enter the BIOS. See page 2 of the Quick Start
Guide for common BIOS changes.

6Common BIOS Updates
Time and Date – Update Time and Date on the Main page of the BIOS.
Enable PXE Boot – To use PXE Boot, enable PXE Boot under Configuration > Network page. “Save and Exit” to save the BIOS
setting, then enter the BIOS again. You must specify which Network Interface Card (NIC) PXE will boot from in the Boot Option
Priorities list under the Boot page of the BIOS.
Secure Boot – Set an Administrator and/or User password, as well as setup Secure Boot for the SBC35-CC405 under the Security
page of the BIOS.
Boot Options - Set the boot order of your storage devices on the Boot page of the BIOS under Boot Option Priorities. If PXE Boot
is enabled, ensure that your desired NIC is listed in the boot order. (See “Enable PXE Boot” above for more information)
Restore BIOS Defaults – Restore default settings, or save or restore user BIOS settings under the Save & Exit page of the BIOS.
